Abstract

In the vast development of civilization there is a big space for technology totake part. In the process, not all of the development has come to a positive influence.One of the example is a children world, playing which pressured by the technology.Traditional games have been replaced by new games with technology that makechildren are less physically active. In the end, many physical problems for childrenoccurred. This problem has been an obstacle to have optimum growth for the childcause by minimum movement such as overweight and obesity.Physical education is an alternative solution to the problems occurred. Physicaleducation has become a compensation to stimulate, motivate and accommodatechildren motor needs.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Jasmani, Kompensasi, Gerak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the competences of Physical Education (PE) teachers make contributions to the quality of learning achievements of elementary school students. It was qualitative descriptive research using a reflective explorative approach. The subject of this study was the result of competence test of PE teachers in Yogyakarta Special Region in 2016. The study involved 60 PE teachers who were subjected to have an FGD (Forum Group Discussion) in some stages. The results show that the average score obtained by elementary school PE teachers in their Teacher Competence Test (TCT) stage II in 2016 was 61.79 for the pedagogical competences, and 60.07 for the professional competences. These results could exceed the national average score of 53.7. Based on the interviews with several teachers, the results of the competence tests had not indicated that PE elementary school teachers could improve the students’ learning quality. The teachers focused more on their preparations to take the TCT as a part of the assignments to the Learning Teacher program they participated in. This study also reveals that the TCT scores did not make a significant contribution to the students’ learning achievements in PE subject. Furthermore, TCT was considered by the teachers as a goal and not as an instrument to improve their competences in the teaching and learning processes.

Abstract

Program vaksinasi yang diluncurkan sejak 13 Januari 2021 merupakan upaya Indonesia dan dunia untuk mengatasi bencana wabah yang telah memasuki hitungan tahun dan menghentikan berbagai rutinitas kehidupan dunia. Kehidupan sosial mengalami revolusi besar, anggaran belanja negara tersedot ke sektor kesehatan. Namun, masyarakat sebagai bagian dari warga dunia masih ragu dan takut untuk berpartisipasi menjadi peserta vaksin karena program ini tidak memiliki waktu sosialisasi yang cukup sehingga isu miring yang beredar telah menjadi penghalang besar keberhasilan program ini. Oleh sebab itu STIA Bengkulu berinisiatif melakukan advokasi implementasi program vaksinasi di Provinsi Bengkulu dengan menggandeng multistakeholder. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan berupa penyuluhan literasi vaksin dan penyuntikan vaksin pertama, pemberian reward peserta yang berhasil divaksin, dan pemberian perizinan gratis. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya untuk kalangan internal tapi juga eksternal STIA Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil dilakukan, terbukti dari jumlah target sasaran 200 vaksin berhasil tercapai bahkan terlampaui yaitu mencapai 250 peserta yang berhasil memperoleh suntikan sinovac. Jumlah capaian peserta vaksin inilah merupakan luaran penting dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 12 Oktober 20221. Luaran lainnya adalah tersampaikannya informasi penting terkait program vaksinasi, serta klarifikasi terhadap hoax, dan media online yang dapat dipercaya dalam mengklarifikasi terkait program vaksinasi

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide training to UMKM actors in Sumber Arum Village, Seluma Regency, who are considered less able to present and promote their products to consumers mainly from the country. in addition to English and limited English communication skills, including: English vocabulary level, English pronunciation ability is still weak, English grammar ability both spoken and written are weak. Therefore, the dedication of STIA Bengkulu instructors to carry out activities can enhance the capacity of UMKM, especially in conducting transactions and promoting in English. From these activities, MSME members find it very useful and start trying to apply what they have learned in training activities.

Abstract

Since March 2020, there has been a spike in cases of Indonesians exposed to the Covid-19 virus, which has prompted the Indonesian government to establish various policies for handling the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is the Covid-19 vaccination policy. The Covid-19 vaccination policy was taken by the government because it is considered as one of the solutions that can increase the immunity of the people's body so as to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus and can restore economic conditions which have been hampered by the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic. Vaccination is the process of giving vaccines by injection or dripping into the mouth to increase the production of antibodies to ward off certain diseases. In carrying out Community Service activities several methods are used, namely: Presentation Method. The presentation method was chosen to provide an explanation about vaccination. Question and answer method. The question and answer method is very important for the participants. This method allows students to gain insight into the importance of the COVID-19 vaccination during the current pandemic. Sharing Session About COVID-19 vaccination. This sharing session is given to the participants in providing input and guidance for the material obtained. The results of this dedication show that they are very enthusiastic about following it from start to finish.

Abstract

This activity aims to describe regional expansion policies, factors that support the implementation of regional expansion policies, analyze the form of policy implementation in the political, economic and socio-cultural fields, and analyze the implementation of regional expansion policies in supporting national integration in Bengkulu City. Factors that support the implementation of regional expansion policies are the existence of potential natural resources, investment, transportation and communication infrastructure, openness to outsiders and public support (community). The form of policy implementation in the political field includes the development of various political structures and infrastructure, transparency and accountability of government, increasing the role and active participation of the community in the decision-making process, freedom of politics and organization, upholding the rule of law and human rights, and realizing political stability. The economic sector includes accelerating the development of economic structures and infrastructure, managing the potential of natural resources and increasing employment, per capita income, Gross Regional Domestic Product and Regional Original Income. In the socio-cultural field, this includes fostering harmony among citizens, reducing socio-cultural gaps, improving the quality of education, regional structuring capabilities and empowering community groups, developing local cultural values and utilizing local wisdom in solving various problems. The implementation of regional expansion policies supports national integration in the city of Bengkulu, because; the realization of the stability of community life, the ease of obtaining public services, the increasing quality of public services, and the realization of integration in community life.
