Abstract

Negara Indonesia ialah negara yang berkembang pada sektor agraris. Pembangunan pertanian di Indonesia diarahkan pada sasaran utama yaitu peningkatan produksi pangan rakyat yang terus meningkat sejalan dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk. Satu diantara cara untuk meningkatkan produksi ialah dengan meningkatkan kesuburan tanah. Tanah yang subur semakin berkurang di Indonesia, lahan yang tersedia sudah berkurang kesuburannya karena sudah dimanfaatkan dalam waktu yang cukup lama dengan pengguanaan pupuk anorganik yang berlebihan. Satu diantara cara untuk memperbaiki kesuburahan lahan ialah dengan menggunakan sistem pertanian organik. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruhi pemberian dosis pupuk hijau paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan krinyu (Chromolaena odarata) guna meningkatkan hasil tanaman brokoli. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Cangar Fakultas Pertanian. Penelitian  menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yakni dosis pupuk hijau paitan dan faktor kedua yakni dosis pupuk hijau krinyu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), jika terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk hijau paitan dosis 6 ton ha-1 dapat meningkatkan penambahan jumlah daun, luas daun, index luas daun, bobot segar, bobot kering. Pada parameter panenl dosis pupuk hijau paitan juga meningkatkan diameter bunga dan bobot segar bunga tanaman brokoli yakni 10, 44 cm per tanaman dan 213 g per tanaman.

Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to study the effectof pine leaf as allelophaty on purslane germination. Theexperiment were conducted at screen house Departmentof Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, BrawijayaUniversity. The research is experimental design by nonfactorial Completely Randomized Blok Design, with threereplications, consisted of eleven levels. Purslane seeds sprout with control treatment, signifi cantly different from seedssprout ability in treatment solution leaves Pinus merkusii 2000ppm, and solution leaves of P. longaeva 2000 ppm. The resultshowed that 2000 ppm of P. merkusii extraction signifi cantlysuppressed 46% of purslane germination whereas 2000 ppmPinus longeava extraction signifi cantly suppressed of 41%campared to without any treatments (control).

Abstract

Training activities on the process of making organic fertilizer and LMO (local microorganisms) from various agencies have long been carried out in order to increase land productivity. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture number 70 / Permen / SR.140 / 10/2011,  organic fertilizer products and soil ameliorant traded must include information on the label and there must be an effective test that applies an experimental design. The implementation of the Ministerial Regulation in the community partnership program is translated in the form of a) assistance to the business unit embryo to take care of a micro-small business permit certificate (SIUMK), b) assistance in making demonstration plots and observing records, c) laboratory testing facility assistance on the type and density of microbes from ameliorant products, as well as soil nutrient testing in various ameliorant application treatments, d) assistance in making packaging labels to search for stores where to buy packaging, and e) assistance in preparing reports on production patterns, production and marketing quantities, and preparing financial reports. Assistance activities can give birth to an ameliorant micro business unit in rural areas that has a business permit certificate and its products can meet the needs of the surrounding community. Besides, the assistance activities can improve the quality of production process skills and increase the quantity of ameliorant production that can provide provisions for micro-businesses to become independent. Because the potential for developing production and marketing of local ameliorant products is faced with the products of large companies, further technical and managerial support is needed. The form of continued support through the incubation of a small scale start-up business is expected to realize the micro-scale local ameliorant business unit to become independent and develop into a medium scale.
