Abstract

A research has been conducted to produce products of various microbial inoculants which synergistically function as a biological fertilizer and could improve soybean production on dry land, especially land that was marginal. Excavation of potential soil microbes on marginal dry land was conducted in Cibaliung District, Pandeglang Banten with a screening technique that had been tested in comparison with isolates that had been successfully tested its superiority. After proving the superiority of microbial synergism between multiple test isolates that had different roles in the transformation of nutrients, especially N and P. Microbial isolates demonstrated synergism effect formulated with a variety of carrier as inoculant products. In this research, isolation of microbes was conducted in the first year that was isolation of Azotobacter and Azospirillum with microbial enrichment with selective liquid media Ashby and Media Okon, BPF Pikovskaya media. The selection of microbial population density, which was aimed to produce a microbial consortium to produce microbes that work synergistically enhance the growth of plants was conducted in the second year. The experiment used a randomized completely block design (RCBD ) with a population density factor Azotobacter sp., Azospirillum and BPF: without treatment ( Z0, AZ0 and BP0) , 102cfu/ml (Z1 AZ1 and BP1), 104 cfu/ml (Z2, AZ2, and BP2 ), 106 cfu/ml (Z3, AZ3 and BP3), 108 cfu/ml (Z4, AZ4 and BP4) and 1010 cfu/1ml (Z5, AZ5 and BP5) soybean plants inoculated at the age of 2 M1ST repeated four times with further testing DMRT 5%. The parameters measured were: plant height, number of leaves, root length, leaf area, dry weight and root dry weight crown. Research showed that treatment of the various levels of population density Azotobacter sp. significantly effect on plant height, while density of population Azosprillium sp. significantly effect on plant height. BPF population density showed significant effect on the number of leaves.Key words: Soybean, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, and BPF

Abstract

The research was aimed to determine effect combination type and dose pesticides nabati for pest walang sangit (Leptocorisa oratoruis Fabricius) in Rice (Oryza sativa L.). This research was conducted in the Greenhouse Center for Food and Horticultural Crop Protection Banten Province in February-April 2011 with an altitude of 5 m above sea level. The results was arranged as Randomized Completely Block Design 1 factor consisting of 9 treatment specifically: A = Control, B = Ginger 3 L ha-1 (0.018 ml t-1), C = Ginger 6 L ha-1(0.037 ml t-1), D = Ginger 9 L ha-1 (0.056 ml t-1), E = Ginger 12 L ha-1 (0.075 ml t-1), F = Galanga 3 L ha-1 (0.018 ml t-1), G = Galanga 6 L ha-1 (0.037 ml t-1), H = Galanga 9 L ha-1 (0.056 ml t-1), I = Galanga 12 L ha-1 (0.075 ml t-1) which is repeated three times. The variables measured were percentage of deaths pests Walang sangit, pest attacks Walang sangit intensity. The results research shows that combination type and dose pesticides nabati non signifikan against the percentage mortality and intensity of pest attack because dose and frequency used towards per plant is too low. The intensity of pest attack Walang sangit five tail per plant within 5 days in the amount of 2,29 %.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the response of various compound manure and growing media to growth and yield of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Permata variety as hydrophonics. The research was conducted at Caringin Village, Labuan Sub-District from November 2013 until February 2014. The research used Randomized Completely Block Design which consisted of two factors. The first factor was various compound manure, which consisted of three levels; P1 = Gandapan; P2 = Gandasil D; and P3 = Gandasil B. The second factor was growing media, which consisted of three levels: M1 = husk charcoal; M2 = Malang sand; and M3 = husk charcoal : Malang sand 1:1. The each treatment was repeated three times, so there were 27 experimental units. The result showed that manure of Gandapan gave the best effect to parameters: the plant height 2 and 4-7 weeks after planting (54.74 cm), the number of leaves 2, 7 and 8 weeks after planting (34.85 leaves), the number of fruits on 2, 4, 5 and 6 harvest time (5,67 fruits), the weight of fruits per plant (160,64 g), the weight of fruits per plant (154.81 g), the dry weight of plants (10.38 g), and and the length of roots (49.74 cm). The husk charcoal growing media gave the best effect on parameters of the plant height 2, 6-8 weeks after planting (53.22 cm), the number of fruits on 2nd harvest time (3,26 fruits), the weight of fruits per plant (154.95 g), fresh weight of plants (154.44 g), the dry weight of plants (10,11 g), and the length of roots (47.07 cm). There’s no interaction between combination of Gandapan and husk charcoal growing media, except on the dry weight of plant parameter (12.72 g).Keywords: Tomato, Compound manure, Hydrophonics

Abstract

A research was aimed to know differences of fertility rates and physical chemistry on the type of talas beneng that grow wild and cultivated. This research was conducted from March until October 2015 in the village of Juhut, Pandeglang District, Banten Province. The research used survey and experiment methods. The results showed that the chemical characteristics of the soil on site conditions of wild talas beneng were: soil acidity was slightly sour, C-organic was low, total phosphorus was low to moderate, and potassium total was moderate. The physical properties and genesis of land had a silty loam texture. The soil structure had glob rounded, moist consistency was loose and without sticky. At cultivation growing conditions in the village of Juhut, Pandeglang in cultivation had status chemical properties of soil: soil acidity was neutral, C-organic content was low, total phosphorus was low to moderate, and total potassium was high. The physical properties and genesis was a silty clay loam soil, with a crumb structure, relatively moist crumbly consistency, with rather sticky.Keywords: Cultivation, Planting, Xanthosoma undipes

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Research aim to to know sweet maize crop result and growth ( Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.) At various organic manure dose and intensity processing of soil tillage,This research have been executed in kampong baru petir Banten. Research take place from June until September 2008. Research use Random Device of Group ( factorial RAK) Pattern, consisting of two factor and three restating, first factor is organic manure dose with four level that is, 0; 10; 20; and 30 ha-1 ton. Second factor is intensity processing of soil tillage with three level that is, once, twice, and thrice processing of soil tillage, so that there are 12 treatment combination and 36 set of attempt. Result of research indicate that organic manure dose differ reality, clean weighing of cob at organic manure dose 10 ha-1 ton equal to 1.386,8 g per check, organic manure dose 20 ha-1 ton equal to 1.316,27 g per organic manure and check 30 ha-1 ton equal to 1.393,83 g per check. Intensity Processing of soil tillage show to differ is not real and also  not happened interaction among organic manure dose with intensity processing of soil tillage.Key words: soil tillage, organic manure, Ultisols

Abstract

The research was aimed to know the effect of giving various concentrations level of cow urine fermentation solution and soaking time to seed germination of trembesi (Samanea saman). Research was conducted from April to June 2017 at Greenhouse Agroecotechnology Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. The research used a Randomized Complete Design and arranged in factorial, consisted of two factors. The first factor was cow urine concentration consisted of four factors: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%. The second factor was the duration of immersion consisting of three factors namely: 6 hours,12 hours, and 18 hours. The results showed that cow urine fermentation concentration 75% gave best result to germination age parameter 1,77%/day, maximum growth potential 36,11%, germination 31,11%, growth rate 1,20%, normal sprout potency 33,8% and abnormal germination potential 2,22%. The duration of soaking of (6 hours) trembesi seeds gave the best results on the germination age parameter 3,41%/day, maximum growth potential 31,66%, germination 25,41%, growth rate 1,05 %, Potency of normal sprout 30,41%. There was no interaction between the various concentration levels of cow urine fermentation solution and the soaking time to seed to the observed parameters except on the observed age germination parameters at 0% cow urine treatment with soaking time to seed 6 hours, and 75% cow urine treatment with soaking time to seed 6 hours (1,33% / day). Keywords: Soaking time to seed, Trembesi (Samanea saman), Urine  concentration

Abstract

This research aimed to know the effect of giving urine concentrations of rabbits and different varieties on the growth and yield of maize. The research was conducted on land owned by CV Hardian Cipocok Jaya District Serang City Banten Province from November 2019 until February 2020. The research used a Randomized Completely Block Design with two factors. The first factor was the concentration of rabbit urine fertilizer  which consisted of three levels, namely: 20 ppm, 30 ppm, and 40 ppm. The second factor was the variety  which consisted of 3 levels, namely indurata, pulut and black aztec. The result showed that rabbit urine fertilizer with a concentration of 30 ppm showed better results on plant height parameters aged 14 days after planting (28.11 cm), 21 days after planting (46.33 cm), 28 days after planting (71.22 cm), 35 days after planting ( 103.24 cm), 42 days after planting (131.87 cm), 49 days after planting (154.37 cm), the number of leaves 14 days after planting (2.89 pieces) and the number of leaves at 21 days after planting (4.22 strands). Indurata variety showed better results on the parameter of the number of leaves aged 14 days after planting (2.67 pieces). There was no interaction between treatment rabbit urine fertilizer at various levels of concentration with various varieties of maize except for plant height parameters aged 14 days after planting and 21 days after planting and the number of leaves aged 14 days after planting and 21 days after planting.

Abstract

Lebak is a district in Banten province known as one of center for ginger cultivations. The study aimed to determine the diversity of local ginger plants in Lebak-Banten Regency based on morphological characters, so that kinship relationships between commodities can be seen. The study was conducted from Agustus to October 2021. This study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods, consisting of 7 accessions with a total sample of 21 plants from the districts in Lebak Regency as Panggarangan, Malingping, Banjarsari and Gunung Kencana. The data was processed using SPSS. Based on the results, there were 7 similar qualitative characters and 3 different qualitative characters. While there were 8 board quantitative characters (various) and 1 narrow quantitative character (uniform), the closest kinship relationship is found in accessions (B3 and E1) with a coefficient value of 1.576 and the furthest kinship in accessions (A1 and D3) wit a coefficient value of 51.024. The results of the dendogram showed that on a scale of 5 formed 14 groups, on a scale of 10 formed 7 groups, a scale of 15 formed 4 groups, a scale of 20 formed 3 group and a scale of 25 formed 2 group. Therefore, further research is needed to determine the relationship of the local ginger based on molecular analysis.

Abstract

Talas beneng (Xanthasoma undipes K. koch) is a local plant typical of Mount Karang, Banten Province, which belongs to the family Araceae and is perennial herbaceous. At present there has been a lot of development of products made from talas beneng into local food sources. However, there are other parts of the talas beneng plant that have not been utilized, namely the talas beneng leaves. This study aims to determine the chemical content of the talas beneng leaves as raw materials for vegetable pesticides towards environmentally friendly agriculture. The study was conducted from June to September 2018. Samples of talas beneng leaves were taken in the Gunung Karang area, Pandeglang Regency. Then do a laboratory test. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method approach. The parameters observed included phytochemical analysis in the form of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and oxalic acid. The test results showed negative found in flavonoids, alkaloids, and saponins. While the test results showed positive found in tannin content with the results of 2337.90 mg / kg and oxalic acid with the results of 7430.52 mg per kg

Abstract

Implementation of good cultivation systems can improve onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) yield. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tuber cuttings and the  dose of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of onion. The experimental design was factorial randomized block design arranged consisting of two factors. The first factor was tuber cuttings which consists of without and with  ¼ and 1/3 cut; the second one was dosage of NPK fertilizer which consists of without and with 200 kg/ha; 400 kg/ha; 600 kg/ha. There are 12 combinations of treatments, each of which is repeated three times. The results showed that there was no interaction effect between tuber cutting and NPK dosages on growth and yield of onion. independent effect of tuber cuttings and NPK dosages also didn’t inflence both parameter. Tuber cuttings  only increase pant height at one and two weeks after planting. Overall, cutting-quarter of the tuber could induce better fresh  weight and dry weight of tubers although statistically didn’t significant.
