Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bobot umbi dan dosis kombinasi pupuk anorganik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Mei 2018 di Balai Perkebunan, Penyuluhan, dan Perikanan Kabupaten Sragen, Jawa Tengah. Rancangan Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor, faktor pertama ialah bobot umbi terdiri dari dua taraf dan faktor kedua ialah dosis kombinasi pupuk anorganik terdiri dari empat taraf sehingga terdapat 8 satuan percobaan dan 4 ulangan, faktor pertama bobot umbi yaitu U0 = Bobot umbi 2,5g - 4,0g dan U1 = Bobot umbi 5,5g - 7,0g. Sedangkan faktor kedua dosis kombinasi pupuk anorganik yaitu P0 = Kontrol (tanpa perlakuan kombinasi pupuk anorganik), P1= (Urea 1,8g/polybag, SP-36 3,3 g/polybag dan KCl 1,5 g/polybag), P2 = (Urea 2,4g/polybag, SP-36 4,4g/polybag dan KCl 2,0 g/polybag) dan P3 = (Urea 3,0 g/polybag, SP-36 5,5g/polybag dan KCl 2,5 g/polybag). Kombinasi tersebut menghasilkan 32 satuan percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi per rumpun, dan bobot basah umbi per rumpun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bobot umbi 5,5g - 7,0g memberikan hasil tertinggi pada semua parameter yaitu tinggi tanaman (40,98 cm), jumlah daun (30,56 helai), jumlah umbi per rumpun (11,44 buah) dan bobot basah per rumpun (62,69 gram). Pemberian dosis kombinasi pupuk anorganik (Urea 3,0 g/polybag, SP-36 5,5g/polybag dan KCl 2,5g/polybag) memberikan hasil tertinggi pada parameter jumlah daun (31,00 helai), jumlah umbi per rumpun (11,38 buah) dan bobot basah umbi per rumpun (67,33g). Sedangkan dosis kombinasi pupuk anorganik (Urea 1,8g/polybag, SP-36 3,3 g/polybag dan KCl 1,5g/polybag) memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter tinggi tanaman (42,50 cm). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan bobot umbi dan dosis kombinasi pupuk anorganik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the response of frequency of plant watering and a dose of chicken manure fertilizer on kailan crops. This research was conducted at trial garden Singamerta Ciruas BPTP Banten from June to August 2014. This study used a Randomized Completely Block Design with two factors. The first factor was the frequency of the plant watering with four levels: F1= frequency of plant watering once a day, F2 =frequency of plant watering 2 days, F3 = frequency of plant watering 3 days, F4 = frequency of plant watering 4 days. The second factor was dose of chicken manure fertilizer with four level: P0 = without chicken manurefertilizer (control), P1 = 10 tonnes ha-1 (23.66 g per polybag), P2: 20 tonnes ha-1 (47.33 g per polybag), P3 = 30 tonnes ha-1 (71.00 g per polybag). Eachtreatment was repeated three times, so retrieved 48 the experimental units. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, and plant dry weight. The resultsshowed that frequency of water one day once tend to provide real influence on the parameters of the age of 35 DAP plant height (30.13 cm), number ofleaf age 35 DAP (11.67 strands), plant fresh weight (93.78 g), weight wet roots (9.19 g), root dry weight (2.87 g), and plant dry weight (12.40g). Provision of chicken manure fertilizer with a dose of 47.33 g (20 tonnes ha-1) significant effect on the parameters of the plant fresh weight (96.84 g).

Abstract

The goal of this research was to determine the growth response and yield of corn plants (Zea mays L.) towards the application of chitosan organic fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer. This research used randomized block design which consists of two factors. The first factor was the concentration of chitosan organic fertilizer whith four levels: 0 ppm/ plant, 10 ppm/ plant, 20 ppm/ plant, and 30 ppm/ plant. The second factor was the dose of nitrogen fertilizer with four levels 0 g/plant, 5 g/plant, 10 g/plant and 15 g/plant. There was 16 combinations of treatments. Each treatments was replicated three times to obtain 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were number of cobs per plant, number of seeds per plant and weight 100 seeds. The results of this research showed that application of chitosan fertilizer does not affect the yield of corn plants. Chitosan fertilization with a concentration of 10 ppm tends to show higher yields on the parameters of the number of cobs (2.25 cobs) and weight of 100 seeds (35.00 g). The application of nitrogen fertilizer affects the yield of corn plants. Nitrogen fertilization with a dose of 15 g/plant increased the number of cobs (2.83 cobs) and the number of seeds per plant (647.75 seeds) compared to the control treatment. There is no interaction between chitosan fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer on corn yields.

Abstract

The research was aimed to know the effect of the gibberellic acid concentrations and types of varieties on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). Research was conducted from November 2017 until April 2018 in Ciruas Village, Ciruas District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. This research used Randomized Completely Block Design with two factors and three replications. The firs factor was concentration of gibberellic acid (GA3)  wich consisted five levels namely G0=0 ppm, G1=10 ppm, G2=20 ppm, G3=30 ppm, G4-40 ppm. The second factors was  types of varieties wich consisted two levels namely V1=Hybrids (Pelita), V2=Non Hybrids (Tripang). The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, Flowering age, number of flowers, percentage of fall flowers, age of fruit harvest, number of fruits and  the weight of fruit. The result showed that the concentration of GA3  has no significant effect on all parameters. Type of varieties gave significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, number of flowers and age of fruit harvest. Type of varieties V1 (hybrids) gave the average on the number of leaves 6  weeks after planted (92,07 sheet), flowering age (42,13 day after planting), and age of fruit harvest (90,26 day after planting). There was no interaction between concentration of GA3 and types of varieties on all parameters. Keyword: Cayenne pepper, Concentration of GA3, Types of varieties

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the response of various compound manure and growing media to growth and yield of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Permata variety as hydrophonics. The research was conducted at Caringin Village, Labuan Sub-District from November 2013 until February 2014. The research used Randomized Completely Block Design which consisted of two factors. The first factor was various compound manure, which consisted of three levels; P1 = Gandapan; P2 = Gandasil D; and P3 = Gandasil B. The second factor was growing media, which consisted of three levels: M1 = husk charcoal; M2 = Malang sand; and M3 = husk charcoal : Malang sand 1:1. The each treatment was repeated three times, so there were 27 experimental units. The result showed that manure of Gandapan gave the best effect to parameters: the plant height 2 and 4-7 weeks after planting (54.74 cm), the number of leaves 2, 7 and 8 weeks after planting (34.85 leaves), the number of fruits on 2, 4, 5 and 6 harvest time (5,67 fruits), the weight of fruits per plant (160,64 g), the weight of fruits per plant (154.81 g), the dry weight of plants (10.38 g), and and the length of roots (49.74 cm). The husk charcoal growing media gave the best effect on parameters of the plant height 2, 6-8 weeks after planting (53.22 cm), the number of fruits on 2nd harvest time (3,26 fruits), the weight of fruits per plant (154.95 g), fresh weight of plants (154.44 g), the dry weight of plants (10,11 g), and the length of roots (47.07 cm). There’s no interaction between combination of Gandapan and husk charcoal growing media, except on the dry weight of plant parameter (12.72 g).Keywords: Tomato, Compound manure, Hydrophonics

Abstract

 The research was aimed to know the response of viability and vegetative growth of three shallots varieties (Allium ascalonicum L.) from seeds TSS (True Shallot Seed) on combination treatment of plant media. This research was conducted at the Screen House of Center for Protection of Food Crops, horticulture and plantations Serang Province of Banten from September until November 2020. The research used a Randomized Completely Design consisted of two factors. The first factor was the varieties, consisted of three levels were varieties Bima Brebes, Lokananta and Sanren. The second factor was the combination of plant media, consisted of three levels were (soil + compost cow manure), (soil + husk charcoal) and (soil + compost cow manure + husk charcoal). The result showed that varieties Lokananta affected the parameters day of germination (4.56 day), maximum growth potential (87.33%), power germination (87.78%), growth rate (5.78%/day) and percentage normal sprouts (80.89%), height of plant at 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42 DAP (Day After Planting) and number of leaves at 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42 DAP. Combination of plant media soil + husk charcoal gave the best effect on the parameters day of germination (4.67 day), maximum growth potential (88.00%), power germination (88.44%), growth rate (5.76%/day) and percentage normal sprouts (80.67%), height of plant at 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42 DAP and number of leaves at 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42 DAP. There was no interaction between varieties and combination of plant media except for the day of germination parameter.

Abstract

The application of Moringa leaf POC is one of the best materials because it contains iron, sulfur and phosphorus which function for plant growth. Another alternative to improve pakcoy plant production is by adjusting the composition of the right planting media, for example by adding organic compost or husk charcoal. Husk charcoal is one of the planting media that functions as a soil improver and can improve soil properties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of several concentrations of moringa liquid organic fertilizer and the combination of planting media on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). Data collection and processing methods using factorial group randomized design consisting of two factors. Observation data were analyzed with variance analysis (F test) at the 5% level. If there is a significantly different effect, it is continued with Duncan's Multile Range Test (DMRT) at the 0,05 level. There is an interaction between the concentration of moringa leaf POC and the combination of planting media on the parameters of plant height at 1 MST.”
