Abstract

First Come First Serve (FCFS).

Abstract

Crack branch or kink in piezoelectric body may occur due to mechanical or electric loading. This paper presents the analysis of crack branch for ceramic piezoelectric materials. This type of advanced materials is very advantageous for application in smart structures, measurements device and actuators. Utilizing the extended Stroh Formalism for elastoelectric, the boundary value problems are solved by way of Hilbert Transforms. The explicit expressions for the elastic, electric, stress and electric intesity factor, and strain energi density are presented in integral forms. These integrals are solved using Gauss-Chebysev-Quadrature. Numerical results for piezoelectric ceramics are presented to illustrate both qualitative and quantitative behaviour of the stress- electric intesity factors.

Abstract

Authentically integrating sustainable communication within the luxury industry requires more than mere polished words and certificates. The instance of John Hardy, a heritage jewelry firm based in Bali, exemplifies how legacy, location, and cultural continuity can transform sustainability from a mere marketing assertion into a tangible narrative. Internal reflections and narrative analysis indicate that selective transparency, nuanced multi-channel storytelling, and observable cultural norms enable the brand to reconcile the dichotomy of openness and exclusivity while maintaining its prestige. Daily rituals, traditional craftsmanship, and local community connections serve as evidence that enhances confidence, mitigates skepticism, and captivates varied audiences beyond superficial environmental assertions. Alignment among brand history, operational capacity, and cultural foundation is essential for credibility in sustainability communication. This study illustrates how sustainability can be seamlessly integrated into brand identity, legacy storytelling, and daily experiences, contributing to the ongoing discourse on how luxury companies should convey sustainability as an expression of continuity, locality, and engagement.

Abstract

This research analyzes the implementation of Presidential Regulation (PERPRES) Number 87 of 2020 as a significant step in supporting the implementation of the Paris Agreement, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) in Indonesia. Although the PERPRES shows a strong commitment to these global goals, this research identifies several areas that require further attention to ensure the effectiveness of disaster risk reduction governance. The main focus of the research is on the PERPRES communication strategy, where there is potential to increase transparency, deepen information to the public, and strengthen public support through advocacy campaigns. In addition, this research highlights the evaluation of the success of PERPRES in formulating disaster management policies that are in line with the principles of the Paris Agreement, SDGs, and SFDRR. These findings underscore Indonesia's commitment to achieving adaptive and sustainable disaster management goals, in line with widely recognized global frameworks.
