Abstract

Education is a shared responsibility between government, families and communities. Pendidikpun take a role in improving the quality of human resources Numerous attempts by the government to improve the quality of education, such as curriculum renewal. Nevertheless, we are still faced with the problem of low learning outcomes, resulting in low quality of education, Teachers as people directly involved in learning, can actually seek a lot of things to improve the quality of education, including using appropriate learning fun, and arouse the enthusiasm of students.This research is a type of class action (classroom action research), which is a re-investigation of the controlled cycle and reflective. This study was initiated in August 2012 to November 2012 research instrument is a quiz given each end of the lesson, test results of learning about the opportunities presented upon completion of the cycle, and the observation sheet student learning activities.The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the activity of the students in doing the task, ask questions, express opinions, concluded the material, presenting duties, responding to questions, and answer the teacher's questions, is likely to increase from an average of the first cycle that 28.6% to 49.5% in the second cycle. From the analysis of learning outcomes obtained an average increase learning outcomes of the first cycle to the second cycle is 66.3 to 73.6 with classical completeness increased from 60.1% to 70.2%. It can be concluded that by using model-type kooperative True Or False Statement can be improved activity and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Influence of Extracurricular Activities on Increasing Students' Soft Skill Ability.This research is motivated by the results of observations that researchers made of students at SMKN 34 Jakarta which is very unfortunate because there are still many students at SMK Negeri 34 Jakarta who do not take part in extracurricular activities at all, even though there is very much that can be obtained if students take part in activities This is for example the ability of public speaking so that it supports students to be able to survive and develop in the world of work in the future. The method usedin this study is quantitative research using a correlational analytical descriptive approach, which combines the X and Y variables with a census of 17, which includes seventeen students.The results obtained from this study show that there is sufficient or moderate influence of extracurricular activities on improving the soft skills of students, the results of the analysis of the magnitude of the influence are 0.475 or 47%. The conclusion from the results of the analysis of the magnitude of the influence of extracurricular activities on improving soft skills of students is classified as sufficient or moderate, which is equal to 0.475 or 47%. This is because extracurricular activities are very influential in improving soft skills, soft skills are positive, the majority of students who take part in extracurricular activities well are students who have good soft skills too. meaning that there is an influence of extracurricular activities on the improvement of students' soft skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the basic learning strategies that can be used to increase students' knowledge. This research uses literature review method. Learning strategies are very useful for teachers and students in the learning process. For teachers, this learning strategy is used as a new and systematic regulatory reference in the implementation of learning. For students the use of learning strategies can facilitate the learning process and understand the content of learning, because each learning strategy is designed to facilitate the learning process. It is hoped that this learning strategy can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The family environment is the main factor in forming a child's character. This research analyzes the role of the family in instilling moral and social values ​​in children. By using library research methods, this research aims to make adults, especially parents, aware that consistent parenting patterns, open communication, and providing good examples by parents greatly contribute to the development of children's character. This research highlights the importance of family and school collaboration in efforts to form a young generation with character. And the digital era has brought significant changes to the educational process. Apart from the role of the environment and family, this research also analyzes the influence of technology on the formation of children's character. Unwise use of technology can have a negative impact on a child's character development, such as a tendency towards individualism and a lack of empathy. However, the proper use of technology can be an effective tool in instilling positive values ​​in children. This research suggests the importance of digital literacy and adequate assistance for students in using technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing the critical thinking abilities of 4th-grade students. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews with mentor teachers, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PBL has a positive impact on developing students' critical thinking skills. Students are accustomed to facing real-world problems, analyzing situations, and seeking relevant and rational solutions. Furthermore, this learning model also enhances students' communication and collaboration skills as they engage in group discussions to solve problems collectively. However, challenges in its implementation lie in time management and ensuring the active participation of all students in the learning process. Overall, this study demonstrates that PBL is effective in developing students' critical thinking abilities, as well as improving their social and communication skills, which are essential in daily life.

Abstract

The digital era presents new challenges and opportunities in the world of education. Students now live in the midst of abundant technology and information, so that conventional learning approaches are often no longer relevant. This article aims to examine various innovative learning strategies that can improve student engagement and learning outcomes. With a qualitative approach and literature study, this study found that technology integration, active learning approaches, and the use of digital interactive media can significantly increase student motivation and participation. The implications of these findings suggest that teachers need to design more adaptive and creative learning in facing the challenges of the 21st century.
