Abstract

Cervical cancer is a type of malignancy found among women, with the second highest number of sufferers globally aged 15 to 44. However, the motivation for women to do cervical cancer prevention is still low. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of education on motivation and primary prevention measures for cervical cancer in young women. The research method used was an experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group design. The sampling technique used was a proportional random sampling of 150 respondents who met the inclusion criteria, 75 as the experimental group, and 75 as the control group. The statistical test used was Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test. The Wilcoxon test results showed that the p score was 0.000 <0.05, which means a significant difference in motivation and action in the experimental and control groups before and after education. Test results. Mann Whitney showed a p score was 0.000 <0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that education effectively increases motivation and the primary prevention of cervical cancer.

Abstract

Asthma gymnastics is one type of exercise therapy that conducted in groups (exercise group) that involving activities of body movement or an essential activity to help the process of respiratory rehabilitation in patients with asthma and it is one of the supporting element in the treatment of asthma. Asthma is a lung disease with characteristics: a reversible airway (but incomplete in some patients) spontaneously or treatment; Inflammation of the airways; Increased airway response to various stimuli (hyperreactivity). This study aims to find out whether asthma gymnastic can reduce the frequency of recurrence of asthma, increase oxygen saturation and physical fitness in patients with asthma in Lung polyclinic of Wangaya hospital Denpasar. This study is an experimental study with the pre and post test control group design. Number of samples were 30 people with asthma consist of 15 patients with asthma as treatment group and 15 patients with asthma as control group. The results showed that in the treatment group have improvement on well controlled relapse and decrease of well uncontrolled relapse. Based on the value Mann Whitney test p = 0.008, it means asthma gymnastics can reduce recurrence in patients with bronchial asthma. Effect of asthma gymnastic on oxygen saturation in treatment group by mean values of % SpO2 increased from 95.1 to 96.5. By using the Mann Whitney p = 0.001, it means asthma gymnastics can improve oxygen saturation in patients with bronchial asthma. Conclusion that administration of asthma gymnastics training for three times a week for eight weeks can reduce the frequency of recurrence, improve oxygen saturation and physical fitness in patients with asthma. Asthma gymnastics will be expected to conduct by asthma sufferer regularly in an effort to control the frequency of asthma attacks effectively.

Abstract

This research aim to know the relationship between stress of work with performance of nurse in RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar year 2011. This research used descriptive research with crossectional approach use the instrument of stress of work scale and BARS. The result of stress of work showed as 19,6% respondents have high stress of work, 73,2% respondent have middle stress of work, and 7,2% have lower stress of work. The result of performance showed as 28,6% respondent have good performance, 57,1% respondent have middle performance, and 14,3% respondent have lower performance. Statistic rank spearman correlation test has very significant result between stress of work with performance and the correlation is negative

Abstract

Stress is a self-response to various problems and problems that each individual cannot overcome and will cause mental disorders. One way to overcome stress symptoms is by doing walking sports activity therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of walking exercise therapy on the stress level of workers who experienced layoffs due to Covid-19 in Jembrana District in 2021. The design of this study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test design approach. The sampling method is non probability sampling using purposive sampling method. The number of samples is 22 people. Hypothesis testing used statistical Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with a p value = 0.000 (α = 0.05). The research instrument used the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42). The results showed that there was a significant effect (p = 0.000) of walking sports activity therapy on the stress level of layoff workers in Jembrana District in 2021 and show that the walking sports activity therapy reduced the stress level of workers who had laid off. Thus, workers who have been laid off should increase their physical activity on foot to stimulate the production of endorphins.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of autogenic relaxation on the level of stress on the elderly in the Region Health Center of northern Kuta Badung. This study is a quasi experiment with pretest and posttest with control group. Samples were taken from two different places, namely at Canggu Banjar Permai village as a treatment group and Tegalgundul village as a control group. The sampling technique used purposive sampling by the number of samples in the treatment group as many as 18 people, while in the control group of 16 people. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (DASS) with ratio scale. From the statistical test independent sample T-test showed p = 0.001 (p 0.05), which meaning that there are influence of autogenic relaxation on level of stress.

Abstract

Hypertension is chronic disease that impact the patient's psychology. Treatment tends to be long and risk complications causes hypertension patients experience anxiety. High levels of anxiety affect self-care management and medication. The aims of research to determine effect of Tapas Acupressure Technique to level anxiety hypertension patients in work area of UPT Puskesmas Kuta Utara on 2021. This research used method pre-experimental design with one group pre-post test. Sampling using non-probability with purposive sampling. The number samples was 19 subjects. The normality test uses Shapiro-Wilk. Hypothesis using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The research instrument used Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The research was in March-April for 1 month. The results showed before given Tapas Acupressure Technique most the respondents experienced mild anxiety 13 people (68.4%) and moderate anxiety 6 people (31.6%). After the treatment, level of anxiety decreased, there was no anxiety 5 people (26.3%), 12 people mild anxiety (63.2%), and 2 people moderate anxiety (10.5%). After analyzed, the p-value 0.000 alpha 0.05. The conclusion that there is effect of Tapas Acupressure Technqiue on anxiety level hypertension patients in work area of UPT Puskesmas Kuta Utara on 2021, meaning that Tapas Acupressure Technique can reduce anxiety level of hypertension patients. Recommendations For health care providers to apply the Tapas Acupressure Technique to patients with hypertension to reduce anxiety so that it can lower blood pressure.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative method with study cross-sectional approach. The total sample of 40 people, samples taken technically in total sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires for 4 months and a variable relationship analysis performed with correlation Spearman rank test. The results showed the characteristics of respondents, found the vast majority (67.5%) of workers child-sex male and 32.5% female. Most (62.5%) working children are school-age children and 52.5% of working children are not formal schooling, the majority (67.5%) growth in child labor normal nutritional status, psychosocial development of a small portion (25%) in the category less, 52.5% of health problems is ISPA and the correlation between age, gender and psychosocial development of the respective P value equal to 0.032 less than value = 0.05 and P value of 0.044 less than value = 0:05

Abstract

The addition of the role of caring for patients at home can cause a burden on the family. If the family is burdened, it is possible that the family is unable to use adaptive coping. Mindfulness can help families improve effective coping in a more focused way, so this study wanted to find out the effect of mindfulness on the coping of families of schizophrenic patients in the working area of the Abang 1 Public Health Center. The population in this study were families with one family member experiencing Schizophrenia in the working area of the Abang 1 Health Center with a total number of family members experiencing schizophrenia recorded 66 families with the sample used, namely 34 respondents. The research design that has been carried out uses a pre-experimental design. This study has used the one-group pre-post test design approach. The research sampling technique that has been used is the non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. The type of data collected in this study is divided into 2, namely primary data and secondary data. The instrument used was a questionnaire that was distributed online in the form of a Google form. The data analysis used was correlative analysis, and the bivariate analysis used was the paired t-test test. The pre-test results showed that the majority of respondents had family coping included in the maladaptive category of 58,8%. The results of the post-test are that all respondents (100%) have family coping included in the adaptive category. The significance value is 0.000 (p less than0.05), which means that there is an effect of providing mindfulness interventions on family coping.
