Abstract

The growth of private universities has made the competition process for new students to be tighter. Private universities must make efforts to increase the interest of prospective new students to choose to continue their education at these private universities. In addition to efforts to improve the quality of education services,This research is quantitative descriptive. The study population was all members of the Karanganyar scout movement branch quartir, while the research sample was 50 students. Data collection used a questionnaire, while data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis.The results showed that most of the respondents stated that the marketing communication of the Indonusa Polytechnic was quite good (66%), most of the respondents stated that their interest in studying at the Indonusa Polytechnic was moderate (58%), and there was a significant relationship between marketing communication and interest in studying for new students. Indonusa Surakata Polytechnic. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between marketing communication and interest in studying at Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia bisnis dan industri di Indonesia saat ini mengalami perkembanganyang semakin pesat. Perkembangan dunia bisnis dan industri menimbulkan adanya persaingandalam meraih konsumen. Salah satu langkah untuk menarik hati konsumen, perusahaanmenggunakan media iklan. Iklan Rokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garam munculsebagai upaya untuk mengangkat produk rokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garamditengah persaingan produk-produk rokok sejenis. Banyaknya iklan-iklan tentang rokokmenyebabkan produsen iklan harus membuat berbagai variasi dan inovasi agar iklan yangdiproduksi mampu menimbulkan image tertentu yang mampu diingat oleh masyarakat. Salah satuimage yang ingin ditampilkan pada iklan rokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garamadalah representasi maskulinitas dengan penggambaran iklan yang banyak menampilkan sosoklelaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi kuasa maskulinitas dalam iklanrokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garam.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metodologi semiotika komunikasi.Objek penelitian adalah iklan rokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garam. Metodeanalisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode semiotika Roland Barthes.Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian, maka disimpulkan : (1) representasi maskulinitasdalam iklan rokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garam terbagi dalam dua representasiyaitu penampilan fisik laki-laki maskulin dan atribut pendukung yang melambangkanmaskulinitas, (2) representasi penampilan laki-laki maskulin dalam iklan rokok Gudang Garamdalam Website Gudang Garam \ meliputi dada bidang, rambut cepak, dan sorot mata tajam, (3)representasi pendukung yang melambangkan maskulinitas dalam iklan rokok Gudang Garam dalamWebsite Gudang Garam meliputi atribut kendaraan, sikap pantang menyerah, (3) jenis olah ragayang dilakukan, (4) penggunaan representasi maskulinitas pada iklan rokok Gudang Garam padawebsite Gudang Garam Super oleh pengiklan ditunjukkan untuk menunjukkan produk rokokGudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garam yang memiliki cita rasa lelaki yaitu mantap, sertaingin menunjukkan image orang yang merokok Gudang Garam dalam Website Gudang Garamsebagai pribadi laki-laki yang macho, berani, pantang menyerah, dan keras.

Abstract

INCREASING LEARNING PRODUCTIVITY FOR STUDY GROUPS OF YOUTH ORGANIZATION IN SURAKARTA. The general conditions of non-formal education such as the current study group, the social activists of this society are certainly experiencing various obstacles, obstacles and problems as well as the ups and downs of its management, but they conclude that this social activity is seen as a challenge that must be addressed wisely so that they hope the existence of this learning group can continue to grow and develop in the future. This can be seen from many of his students in their respective areas who follow the learning group. Non-formal education groups targeted in the implementation of this PKM is the Study Group of “Rumah Anak Pintar” (RAP) in Kampung Sewu Village and Kratonan Learning Group. These two study groups are the guidance of the organization of youth. Identified partner issues are on education and socioeconomic fields. In the field of education, the ability of tutoring teacher is still limited to giving questions and corrections. There is no creative material such as storytelling and playing or the use of multimedia. The socio-economic problems are seen from the supporting infrastructure facilities in inadequate learning. This training activity is divided into two stages: (1) improvement of skills in learning (2) making multimedia-based teaching materials. The outcome of this activity is the making of multimedia-based teaching materials, skill enhancement in the delivery of story material and singing, as well as the provision of learning facilities.

Abstract

Generasi Z merupakan sebuah generasi yang sangat inklusif dan tertarik untuk terlibat dalam berbagai komunitas dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, namun tidak terlalu percaya diri untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan dalam waktu yang lama, meskipun memiliki keterampilan. Gerakan pramuka sebagai lembaga pendidikan non formal berusaha memadukan antara kemampuan softskill dengan hard skill, sehingga generasi Z yang tergabung dalam kegiatan kepramukaan bisa mengembangkan ketrampilan,dan memiliki kepercayaan yang tinggi sehingga persepsi publik bisa terbentuk. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan umtuk membentuk persepsi publik melalui public speaking melalui 3 V, yakni Visual, Verbal, dan Vokal, dan dalam upaya branding, dilaksanakan dengan penyebaran informasi ke publik secara berkelanjutan melalui media sosial.

Abstract

Online learning is learning that is developed with the aim that learning can be carried out without any time and space constraints. Utilization of information technology is one of the keys to the success of online learning. However, there are also weaknesses in online learning which can reduce student interest in learning. Barriers to the ability of lecturers to communicate learning materials, communicate with students, and the togetherness of students in peer groups among them are factors that play a role in student interest in learning online. This research is a descriptive correlative research with the aim of describing the communication patterns of lecturers, the intensity of peer group communication, student interest in learning and analyzing whether or not there is a relationship between lecturer communication patterns and peer group communication intensity with student learning interests at the Universitas Surakarta (Surakarta University). The research sample was 60 students majoring in Communication at the Universitas Surakarta class of 2019 and 2020 which were determined using the proportional random sampling technique. Research data collection using a questionnaire, and data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The conclusion of the study is that there is a direct and significant relationship between lecturer communication patterns and the intensity of peer group communication with student interest in learning at the Universitas Surakarta.
