Abstract

President Jokowi made public communication related to Covid-19 on March 2, 2020. Government communication in this crisis has become a challenge because since that moment the public's response and assessment began. In the early stages, public communication carried out by the government was still in the perspective of Crisis Communication, various kinds of confusion of information began to emerge, the public became doubtful about the truth of the scattered data. Furthermore, the World Health Organization recommends handling Covid-19 from the perspective of Risk Communication which is considered more comprehensive and effective in building communication to the public. For this reason, this study intends to evaluate Government Public Communication in Handling Covid-19 in a Risk Communication Perspective. This study uses qualitative research methods, applies a phenomenological research design by searching for data through observation and in-depth interviews through the application of purposive sampling by determining key informants from the government, communication experts, and the community. Secondary data collection is also carried out through journals, websites, webinar presentations, YouTube, social media, and online media portals. The results showed that the transformation of Government Public Communication from Crisis Communication to Risk Communication was carried out not only because of a request from the World Health Organization as an evaluation of government-run communication but also as a form of improving the Indonesian government's communication strategy in handling covid-19 which at first it was considered not alert and fast in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. In addition, the success of Risk Communication cannot be separated from the active engagement of the community in helping the government produce and disseminate information content that is attractive, trustworthy, and accountable.

Abstract

A good living environment can support a healthy community life. Activities to assess this situation by carrying out environmental sanitation assessments with aspects related to several things such as the availability of clean water, sanitation for waste disposal, the physical condition of buildings, air quality, as well as other conditions such as transportation facilities, and the availability of social services. This community service is a form of application of the third Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The method used in community service is carried out by observation, socialization, data collection and mentoring/evaluation. The material presented in this socialization was general knowledge about sanitation facilities and healthy lifestyles during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of holding this activity is to increase knowledge and awareness about the importance of sanitation facilities and a good healthy lifestyle for prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic, provide several theories and general descriptions of the usefulness of good sanitation facilities developed in daily life and sustainable lifestyles. clean and healthy which should be made a habit in the community, especially the place to live, disseminating information conveyed to family, relatives, friends so that the knowledge gained can be absorbed and spread widely and apply it in everyday life. The benefits of this program activity are that the community can apply hygiene in household sanitation, educate and provide comfort for the people around us. Always reminding each other how important health is, starting from the household environment, maintaining cleanliness in every home, conducting community associations for healthy and clean environments such as waste banks, mutual cooperation, and community service.

Abstract

Electronic learning is an important instrument in online learning in this time of covid. As an effort to encourage the prevention of the Covid-19 virus in the world of education, the Ministry of Education and Culture issued Circular Letter No. 15 of 2020 regarding guidelines for organizing learning from home in an emergency period of the spread of Covid-19. The Bekasi Regency Government has implemented Circular No. 15 of 2020 and formed derivative regulations, namely: Circular No. 420/SE-37/DISDIK/2020. However, in its implementation it is still considered not optimal due to many obstacles in implementing this policy. The aims of this research are 1. To analyze the implementation of the learning from home policy, 2. to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the learning from home policy at the junior high school level in Babelan District. The researcher examines this case using the constructivism paradigm with qualitative research methods accompanied by a case study research approach. Based on the results of the research that the implementation of the policy of learning from home at the junior high school level in the Babelan sub-district, Bekasi Regency is running well which is influenced by several supporting factors, namely: Availability of Regulations, The establishment of cooperation between internal and external parties, Availability of adequate human resources, Availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. support, Available budget and Support from parents. While the inhibiting factors are: Not all students have cellphones, lack of internet quota, bad signal constraints and lack of enthusiasm for students.

Abstract

Electronic Government in Indonesia has been introduced and started through Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2003 concerning the National Policy and Strategy for Electronic Government Development which states that the development of electronic government is an effort to develop governance based on using electronics in order to improve the quality of public services effectively and efficiently. Besides that, e-government also aims to support good governance (good governance). The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of Mayor Regulation Number 32 of 2019 concerning the Dissemination of Information on Government Administration in the Bekasi City Government Environment in the Bekasi Iconic Application, identify the inhibiting factors for implementing the Bekasi Iconic Application, analyze any efforts to overcome obstacles in implementation, and find out the perceptions of the community concerned the application. Researchers examined this matter using a constructivism paradigm with qualitative research methods accompanied by a case study research approach. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of Mayor Regulation Number 32 of 2019 concerning Dissemination of Government Information in the Bekasi City Government Environment through the Bekasi Iconic Application which was launched in 2018 did not run optimally due to several obstacles in its implementation, the main of these obstacles is the lack of coordination between organizations Regional Apparatus (OPD) related to updating existing systems in each OPD, how to overcome obstacles by coordinating and monitoring between Regional Apparatus regarding updating application data of each Regional apparatus collected in Bekasi Iconic, the community hopes for continuous quality improvement towards The Bekasi Iconic application is a collaboration of information between OPDs around the Bekasi City government to maximize the implementation of public information services for the people of Bekasi City.
