Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the accountability of biology instrusction management. The subjects are teachers, principal, and educational office stuff. This study usesevaluation, interview, observation and documentation. The data was analyzed through scoring techniques and qualitative data analysis. The study conclussion are (a) the lesson plane made by the teachers; (b) the actuating has fulfilled the standard; (c) the evaluation has fulfilled the standard; (d) the sustain factors are tecahers attitude, students quality and the school atmosphereand the obstacle factors are the lack of learning tool and equipment.Keywords: implementation, management, biology, accountability

Abstract

This study aims to develop environmental-based worksheets to increase motivation and interest in learning for high school students and a description of students' learning difficulties in biology class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. The research method used is Research and development. The sample of this research is 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations and documents. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the LKPD developed was suitable for use by high school students of Class X and there were difficulties in learning biology on environmental pollution materials. This learning difficulty is caused by the difficulty in understanding the material presented in the teaching materials. In addition, learning difficulties experienced by students are also triggered by low learning motivation caused by not being interested in biology lessons, inappropriate teaching techniques, facilities and infrastructure, and inadequate learning resources

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Guide Inquiry terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang termasuk pada rancangan quasi-experiment (rancangan semu) dengan desain pre-test and pos-test control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau, kemudian sampel penelitian dipilih melalui metode simple random sampling. Subyek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent t-test dengan taraf signifikasi 5%, kemudian dilakukan uji N-gain untuk mengetahui signifikansi peningkatan pree test dan post test. Sebelum dilakukan analisis data, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis berupa uji normalitas sebaran dan uji homogenitas varian. Hasil analisis data dari uji independent t-test, memperoleh nilai sig. (2tailed) < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian bisa diambil kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran guide inquiry efektif terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa.
