Abstract

MiFi (Mini Wifi) is an internet service provider tool that can share internet connections with devices that are connected to it, unfortunately MiFi (Mini Wifi) has a very small hotspot range, so users are required to be close to MiFi (Mini Wifi) so that to connect, the farther a device is from MiFi (Mini Wifi), the less internet speed is given to the device. From this problem, researchers intend to expand the range of reception of hotspot signals on the MiFi (Mini Wifi), namely by using a pan grid antenna and a wifi gun antenna. Therefore, this study aims to compare the level of difference in the quality of network traffic using a griddle antenna and a wifi gun antenna in providing Quality of Service (QoS) services when capturing long-distance signals. The result of this comparison is as a reference for the community to choose the best long distance signal catcher between the griddle antenna and the wifi gun antenna.

Abstract

Advances in information technology to support all needs and demand for information for companies through the creation of news presentation media on the development of personal computer network technology is getting higher, the need for using internet-based information makes data security vulnerable to become an important issue, to simulate computer networks requires a software called Cisco Packet Tracer. This application is used to simulate a MAN network. To connect the MAN network requires a routing. EIGRP routing is one of the most frequently used interior routing for wide coverage. MAN network works to connect different networks from a set of LAN networks. The simulation must have security to protect the server. Network address translation (NAT) is one of the methods used as IP translation to get into different networks. Based on the results of the Static NAT IPv4 IPv6 simulation trials that have been carried out, the results of traffic security on the network are obtained so that there is no IP buildup that will hinder the communication path on the server, with a Static time delay of 0.782 sec

Abstract

In building a best-selling motorcycle selection system, a decision support system is needed which is intended to assist decision makers in selecting the best-selling motorcycle at PT. Indako Trading Co Binjai by using data from survey results directly to the location. This system will be designed using the web and perform calculations using the Promethee Method. Where there are already determined criteria and alternatives which will later bring up an output of the best-selling motorcycle type at PT. Indako Trading Co Binjai. Based on the results of the analysis and design that has been carried out in the Promethee stage in calculating the Net Flow value, the first ranking results in the selection of the best-selling motorcycle at PT. Indako Trading Co Binjai is Vario 150.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology make it easier for humans to manage data and information, so there is no need to waste a lot of time, effort and money. Technology is useful in various fields, one of which is in the field of small business economics, namely sales stock. In order to make it easier for the owner to make incoming and outgoing stock reports, it is necessary to implement computerized sales data in one web application, which includes information on incoming and outgoing stock of cookies that are still available at the YARR Cookies shop. Stages in Decision Support System research using the Forward Chaining method which will collect facts and end with conclusions. And the end result of this web application can be run properly and is also useful for the owner of the YARR cookie shop.
