Abstract

The increasing number of flights proves that the public believes air transportation is one of the most desirable. Of course, the operation of the claim baggage conveyor will increase along with the number of existing passenger luggage. For this reason, the operation of the baggage claim conveyor needs to be done with the help of technology. This research was conducted to assist the work of airline porters, including time and energy efficiency through technology. This tool uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller as the program processing centre. This system will work when the Infrared sensor detects baggage after an x-ray, so the conveyor will be activated automatically. After the conveyor runs, another Infrared sensor will see the baggage on the conveyor. The conveyor will stop automatically when the Infrared sensor does not detect any baggage for a particular time. This tool is equipped with a Push Button so that the baggage claim conveyor can be operated manually and an LCD to explain the instrument's condition and the amount of baggage available. The amount of luggage can be monitored periodically via a smartphone using the ESP8266 WiFi module.

Abstract

Di era digital, aplikasi Financial Technology (Fintech) telah menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat. Kemudahan dan efisiensi yang ditawarkan oleh aplikasi Fintech menarik jutaan pengguna, yang aktif memberikan umpan balik dan ulasan di platform seperti Google Play Store. Ulasan ini menjadi sumber informasi berharga bagi pengembang untuk memahami persepsi pengguna, mengidentifikasi masalah, dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) dalam meningkatkan akurasi analisis sentimen pada algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) dengan kernel Radial Basis Function (RBF). Data ulasan dikumpulkan melalui web scraping dari komentar di Google Play untuk tiga aplikasi Fintech, yaitu Flip, Neobank, dan Bank Jago. Tahapan pemrosesan meliputi pelabelan, preprocessing untuk membersihkan data, dan pembobotan kata menggunakan metode TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency). Teknik Random Oversampling diterapkan untuk mengatasi ketidakseimbangan kelas dalam dataset. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimasi parameter dengan PSO mampu meningkatkan kinerja analisis sentimen, dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 11,33% untuk setiap aplikasi. PSO juga meningkatkan akurasi model dalam menghadapi tantangan data tidak seimbang, memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam bagi pengembang aplikasi untuk meningkatkan layanan.   Abstract Financial technology (Fintech) applications have become part of people's daily lives in the digital era. The convenience and efficiency offered by Fintech applications have attracted millions of users, who actively provide feedback and reviews on platforms such as the Google Play Store. These reviews are an important source of information for application developers to understand user perceptions, identify problems, and improve service quality. The study investigates the effectiveness of the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method for balanced and unbalanced datasets and how well it improves sentiment analysis accuracy when applied to the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm when using Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel. We conducted web scraping to collect user review data from Google Play for three FinTech applications: Flip, Neobank, and Bank Jago as research objects. Following data collection, the review data underwent preprocessing steps, such as word weighting using the TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency), labeling, and preprocessing to clean the data. Random Oversampling resolved the dataset's class imbalance, making all classes representative in the study. The results of this study indicate that parameter optimization with PSO can improve the performance of sentiment analysis on the subjects studied. Furthermore, based on the results of SVM testing using parameter optimization of the PSO algorithm, an average performance increase of 11.33% was obtained for each application that had been analyzed. The results also show that PSO improves model accuracy in sentiment analysis with imbalanced data challenges, providing deeper insights for application developers to improve services.

Abstract

Setiap rumah diharapkan mampu membangkitkan energi alternatif yang dapat dapat digunakan untuk melayani beban sehari-hari. Salah satu cara yang dapat diterapkan adalah setiap rumah memasang Solar Home System (SHS). Instalasi dan perancangan SHS perlu dikenalkan kepada masyarakat umum salahsatunya guru agar memiliki pengetahuan tentang Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya  (PLTS). Masyarakat perlu diberi pelatihan bagaimana cara merancang dan menginstalasi SHS di rumah masing-masing. Pelatihan ini akan diberikan kepada Guru SDIT MTA Semanggi sesuai permintaan dari kepala sekolah.Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pengetahuan Masyarakat terutama Guru SDIT MTA Semanggi tentang (1) Bagaimana proses konversi energi dari energi matahari menjadi energi listrik, (2) Bagaimana energi matahari tersebut bisa dimanfaatkan untuk rumah tangga atau SHS, (3)Bagaimana cara merakit atau menginstal peralatan supaya terbentuk SHS. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada Guru SDIT MTA Semanggi tentang bagaimana melakukan instalasi SHS PLTS sebagai sumber energi alternatif skala rumah tangga. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan waktu selama 3 jam pada Hari Selasa, 12 Oktober 2021Pelatihan diikuti oleh 13 Guru SDIT MTA Semanggi.  Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian terlihat dari hasil pre test dan post test.  Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa dari 13 SDIT MTA Semanggi yang diberikan tidak ada yang mendapatkan nilai 100. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan, rata-rata menjawab benar sebanyak 10 Guru. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman Guru mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 90%, sehingga dapat diartikan setelah dilakukan pelatihan banyak Guru yang paham tentang SHS PLTS.              K

Abstract

Tumor otak merupakan salah satu penyakit yang paling mengancam nyawa dan memerlukan diagnosis yang akurat. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam mendiagnosis tumor otak terletak pada kesamaan visual antara jenis tumor pada gambar MRI, yang seringkali menyulitkan klasifikasi manual. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, sistem klasifikasi berbasis deep learning dikembangkan menggunakan metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dengan arsitektur Inception-V3. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari Kaggle dan terdiri dari empat kelas glioma, meningioma, pituitari, dan notumor. Penelitian ini menerapkan teknik pre-procesing seperti Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) dan augmentasi data untuk meningkatkan kinerja model. Berbagai kombinasi hyperparameters diuji, dan kinerja terbaik dicapai dengan batch size 32 dan learning rate 0,0001. Model mencapai accuracy 97,92%, precision 98%, recall 98%, dan F1-score 98%. Selain itu, arsitektur Inception-V3 dibandingkan dengan arsitektur lain yaitu MobileNetV2 dan ResNet50, yang mencapai accuracy 83,67% dan 71,79%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa arsitektur Inception-V3 unggul dalam mengklasifikasikan jenis tumor otak dari gambar MRI. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan akurasi dan kecepatan diagnosis tumor otak bagi medis.

Abstract

One of the many potential benefits of stem cell therapy is that it may enhance men’s vitality by addressing conditions such as erectile dysfunction and hypogonadism. The current comprehensive review and meta-analysis evaluate the efficacy, safety, and mechanisms of stem cell therapy in improving male sexual health. Data from previously published clinical trials, reviews, and preclinical studies indicate that stem cell therapy significantly enhances erectile function, increases testosterone levels, and improves sperm quality. The regenerative potential of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), including their ability to differentiate into various cell types and secrete bioactive molecules, underpins these benefits. Additionally, MSCs modulate the immune response, reducing inflammation and promoting tissue repair. Despite these promising results, current research is limited by heterogeneity among studies, lack of long-term data, and the absence of standardized treatment protocols. Future research can focus on large-scale randomized controlled trials with standardized protocols to validate the long-term efficacy and safety of stem cell therapy. The results of the review support the potential of stem cell therapy as a novel approach in regenerative medicine, offering innovative solutions for men’s health and vitality. Addressing the current limitations and exploring future directions will pave the way for the clinical adoption of stem cell therapy, advancing the treatment options for conditions affecting men’s vitality and improving the quality of life for millions of men worldwide.

Abstract

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), is a debilitating condition marked by persistent fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, and chronic pain, severely affecting quality of life. This study explores the potential of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy as an innovative treatment for CFS. Using a qualitative descriptive design and case studies, data were gathered through interviews, medical record reviews, and observations of patients undergoing MSC therapy. The findings revealed significant improvements in fatigue, cognitive function, and physical well-being, with participants reporting better memory, concentration, reduced pain, and improved daily functioning. While some sleep disturbances persisted, their severity was reduced. These results highlight the potential of MSC therapy to alleviate CFS symptoms and enhance quality of life. Despite its promise, challenges such as high costs, regulatory hurdles, and the need for standardized protocols persist. Further research is required to confirm long-term efficacy and safety, contributing to the growing evidence for regenerative medicine in treating chronic conditions like CFS.

Abstract

This review explores the benefits of Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) therapy concerning Down syndrome (DS), cognitive and behavioral disorders, and other related physiological complications. Two pediatric patients with DS participated in this study, receiving MSC therapy over six months through a qualitative case study approach. Patient A was a 5-year-old male experiencing moderate developmental delays and recurrent infections. Patient B was a 6-year-old female facing mild intellectual disabilities and difficulties in social interaction. The initial and follow-up assessments conducted at baseline, three months, and six months after treatment revealed that patients A and B significantly improved in linguistic abilities, attention, social interactions, and motor coordination. Moreover, enhancing inflammatory indices, such as CRP and IL-6, indicated effective regulation of the immune response and reduced inflammation. Both patients adhered to the therapy without any reported side effects. Thus, the findings highlight the potential neuroprotective and immunomodulatory effects of MSC therapy, suggesting it may serve as a viable adjunct treatment for DS. However, due to the limited number of participants and the relatively short observation period, some limitations, such as the small group size and brief study duration, should be acknowledged, necessitating further larger-scale trials to validate these results and establish protocols. This study adds to the existing literature on MSCs in neurodevelopmental disorders and aims to provide a foundation for exploring new treatment options for DS.

Abstract

This study examines the role of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in stroke recovery, exploring their regenerative properties and potential to enhance rehabilitation outcomes. Stroke remains a leading cause of long-term disability, with limited treatment options for functional recovery. This research investigates how MSC therapy, combined with conventional rehabilitation methods, can improve motor and cognitive function in stroke patients. Using case studies and patient care records, the study analyzes the effectiveness of MSC therapy in promoting neural repair, reducing disability levels, and improving overall quality of life. The findings suggest that MSC therapy significantly enhances functional recovery when integrated with rehabilitation, particularly when cerebrospinal fluid treatment is used before MSC administration. Imaging and biomarker analyses support these results, showing improvements in neurogenesis, synaptic plasticity, and reduced neuroinflammation. This research highlights the synergistic effects of MSC therapy and rehabilitation, presenting a promising approach to stroke recovery. The study also emphasizes the need for further research to optimize MSC-based treatments, refine delivery methods, and evaluate long-term safety and effectiveness. The implications of this study contribute to the development of integrated therapeutic strategies for stroke patients, offering a more holistic approach to recovery.

Abstract

An incubator is a place designed to maintain a certain temperature condition. Incubators are often found in hospitals and farms. In hospitals, the Incubator functions to warm newborns, or premature babies. On farms, this incubator is usually used for egg hatchers and as a place for newly hatched chicks. Incubators are usually in the form of a room or box (box) of a certain size. In this research will be designed a prototype to modify the infant incubator by adding sensors to regulate the temperature and control using a Arduino microcontroller. This incubator has a measurement system and temperature regulation using LM35 sensors, heaters and fans as actuators that can cool the incubator room with Arduino as controlling. Temperature setting will be monitored by LABVIEW. In the Arduino system a program can be set up that can adjust the temperature . The temperature required by the premature baby, so that it can maintain the stability of the temperature. If the temperature in the incubator is smaller than the temperature setting, the heater will turn on and the fan speed will decrease to increase the temperature according to the settings entered. If the temperature in the incubator is greater than the temperature setting entered, the heater will turn off. The results showed that the linear regression value between the temperature values with the ADC value of y = 0.4883x with a determination coefficient of 1, while the linear regression value between the temperature with a voltage value of y = 99.481x with a coefficient of 0.9984.Keywords: Infant Incubator, temperature sensor, LM35.

Abstract

A good and feasible centrifuge is needed in the world of health, therefore a digital tachometer is needed to calibrate a centrifuge. Digital tachometer is a measuring instrument used to measure the rotation speed of a motor. This tachometer will be tested to function by being compared to using Digital Laser Photo Tachometer. This tachometer will display the number of rotations per minute of a motor according to the speed setting on the centrifuge using the output of this E18-D80NK sensor which will later be processed by the Arduino Nano. As for this feature charger and data storage mode, so that user can save the data of measurement results on SD Card, and beside that user can also be a way of charging when after usage or before usage. At testing the tool used point settings 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, and 12000 RPM. Based on the measurement results of centrifuge using tachometer module and comparison tachometer have average percentage of error varying at each setting point. The smallest error 0.8% at the setting Point 3000 RPM, while the largest error 4.9% at the setting point 1000 RPM. The Tacometer error value on this Centrifuge measurement is still within the tolerance limit of ± 10%
