Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the teacher in instilling religious attitudes of students in state Elementary School 82 Bengkulu City. This research uses a qualitative approach. The method used is a qualitative descriptive in the form of case studies. Research subjects are teachers and students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. The main instrument in this study is the researcher itself, the supporting instruments used are the observation guidelines and interview guidelines. To test the validity of the data credibility that is the extension of observation, increased perseverance, triangulation, and member check. The results showed that the teacher's role in instilling students religious attitudes was (1) As an example, what teachers do in instilling religious attitudes of students is to use polite clothes and cover their genitals, become imams and participate in the midday and midday prayers in the mushallah (2) As motivators, motivation given by teachers in instilling students' religious attitudes that motivate students to pray before and after learning, be polite and polite to all teachers and employees at school, do infaq and alms on Friday. (3) What the teacher does as a facilitator in instilling religious attitudes of students is to provide facilities to perform Dhuhr and Dhuha Prayers, and to complete the facilities during the reading of the Kultum and Asmaul Husnah.
