Abstract

This research aims to describe the thematic learning process containing cultural arts and crafts material for Serawai regional songs as an effort to instill appreciation of local culture in the fourth grade In SD Negeri 49 Bengkulu Selatan and describe the form of student appreciation during thematic learning containing cultural arts and crafts material for Serawai regional songs as an effort to inculcate local cultural appreciation in the fourth grade SD Negeri 49 Bengkulu Selatan. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive study method. The research subjects were classroom teachers and fourth grade students at SD Negeri 49 Bengkulu Selatan. The research instrument used observation guidelines, interview guidelines, questionnaire sheets and documentation studies. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification.The results of this study are: 1). The process of learning local songs has been going well. Learning local songs can instill student appreciation. Students become aware of the title of local songs, students have knowledge of how to sing local songs, students can sing local songs, students can interpret the lyrics of local songs. 2) The form of student appreciation when learning local songs is in the good category. Students can assess the appearance of friends who are singing folk songs in front of the class, students observe the appearance of friends and can explain the appearance of other friends in singing local songs, and so on. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the thematic learning with cultural arts and crafts content for the Serawai regional song material effectively and efficiently helped students to be actively involved in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Pemikat J'TU programme in developing student creativity through a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal, chairman of the programme committee, teachers or trainers, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with analysis using the Miles and Huberman qualitative method which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the J‘’TU Enchantment Programme is effective in encouraging student creativity through good coordination, motivation, and direction. Activities held every Friday and Saturday provide space for students to express themselves in art, religion, and literature. Creativity can be seen from the results of activities that reflect students' interests and talents, as well as the ability to think fluently, think flexibility, create and develop ideas. The success of the programme is supported by solid cooperation between teachers, students and parents, as well as motivation and feedback that boosts students' confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the careful attitude in creating mosaic works in art education for third-grade students at SD Negeri 19 Kota Bengkulu. This is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were 30 third-grade students divided into six groups. The research instruments were the researcher himself and observation, interviews, and documentation guidelines. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data validity was obtained by using triangulation techniques and member checks. The results of this study show that students' carefulness in making mosaic artworks can be observed through four indicators, namely: (1) concentration when working or doing something, (2) being careful and not rushing, (3) working or doing activities systematically, (4) working on and completing a task. From the results of observations and interviews, it was found that there were four groups that were able to consistently demonstrate all four indicators during the mosaic-making process. Meanwhile, the other two groups experienced obstacles and difficulties in preparing tools and materials, applying glue, and attaching seeds. Thus, it can be concluded that most students demonstrated a meticulous attitude in making mosaics.

Abstract

This studywas motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education, which were attributed to the dominant use of conventional lecture methods that limited students active participation in the learning process. One altternative learning medium that can enhance student engagement and learning outcomes is the Baamboozle education game. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Baamboozle educational game on the learning aoutcomes of fifth grade students in Cluster III, Bengkulu City, in Pancasila Education. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with the Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample consited of 55 students, including 27 students in class VB as the experimental group and 28 students in class VA as the control group at SDN 03 Bengkulu City. Data were collected using a multiple choice learning achievement test that had met the validity and reliability requirements. Data analysis was conducted through normality anda homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples t-test. The findings indicated that the data were normally distrubuted and homogeneous. The hypothesis test on the posttest scores yielded a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0,029 (<0,005) with a t-value of 2.249, indicating that the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Baamboozle educational game had a significant positive effect on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of fiftf-grade students in Cluster III, Bengkulu City.
