Abstract

An organization or agency has different functions and roles in carrying out its duties. Precision and accuracy in carrying out the functions and roles will determine the credibility or image of the institution in the middle of the community that can be called to customers in using a service, if able to understand the needs or wishes Customers will certainly be able to build positive opinions in the Community's minds about the agency. However, if everything that is expected by the customer is not realized in real, then the level of customer confidence in the agency will decrease or even cause a customer reluctance in using the service The. So that the customer's tendency to use or not service is dependent on the perception or customer perceived view directly over the agency's treatment to him.The process of customer perception is initiated when the customer has selective attention, where this tendency arises in human beings in filtering out an information they obtain or get about using the service of an agency. Then, selective distortion is a tendency in interpreting information that is appropriate to the perception of the customer itself and used as the source of confidence or initial customer confidence in the service. The last process is selective memory, in that process customers will remember information that supports the perception and confidence of customers on a service. These three processes provide clarity on the stages of the customer's perception of perceived, used and expected. So it is the benchmark of an institution to improve the quality of its workers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the operating cost budget and revenue budget affect financial performancebased on its profitability ratio, namely Return On Asset (ROA) for the period 2016-2018. This research was conducted atTirta Malem Kabanjahe Water District Company starting from February 2019. From the results of the analysis and discussioncan be drawn some conclusions as follows: ROA PDAM Tirta Malem Kabanjahe from 2016 to 2018 experienced fluctuationsand even tends to lose money in 2017 to 2018 a huge influence caused by profit gains that continue to decline until losses.While the total assets each year increase in size. The losses experienced by PDAM every year cause the ROA ratio to besmaller. Which means that the ROA level obtained by the company does not yet have the ability to generate a rate of returnon assets into net profit. The revenue earned by the company fluctuates. With the highest gain occurred in 2016 amountingto Rp.35,994,381,857 where the budget made is smaller than the realization of Rp.7,604,222,500. The company's operatingcosts decreased from the planned so that this year the company still experienced a profit that is not large until the ROAobtained only 0.21.

Abstract

The review to be achieved in this study is the first, to analyze the contribution of two-wheeled and four-wheeled motorvehicles to local revenue at the UPT SAMSAT in South Medan 2014-2017, second, to analyze the tax effectiveness of twowheeledand four-wheeled motor vehicles on regional original income at the UPT SAMSAT in South Medan 2014-2017. Thisstudy uses descriptive quantitative methods. Methods of collecting data through library research and documentation. Whilethe data analysis method used is contribution analysis and effectiveness analysis. Based on the results of the study, it canbe concluded that the tax contribution of two-wheeled and four-wheeled motor vehicles to the local revenue in the UPTSAMSAT in South Medan in 2014 - 2017 shows a very good category, with a percentage above 50%. In 2014 its contributionamounted to 80.10% and in 2015 its contribution was 81.51%, in 2016 its contribution was 81.36%, and in 2017 itscontribution was 83.11%. Likewise, the tax effectiveness of two-wheeled and four-wheeled motor vehicles on local revenuein the South Medan Samsat UPT shows fluctuations in 2014 with an effectiveness of 80.54%, in 2015 the effectiveness was92.31%, with the effective category, in 2016 its effectiveness was 80.41%, with the category quite effective, in 2017 itseffectiveness was 97.76%, with the effective category. The Faktor that hinder the service of motorized vehicle taxation in thesouthern field samsat are : means and prasarana, routine coordination, community participation, and the financial conditionofthe community.

Abstract

Many factors that affect teacher performance include factors that affect teacher performance including teacher level, teachingsupervision, management program (training), conducive climate, facilities and infrastructure, physical and mental condition ofteachers, motivation, leadership style of the principal, welfare assurance, managerial ability of the principal and others.Teachers have a very complex function in the efforts to achieve goals, among which teachers serve as educators, teachersand mentors. Teacher performance is a teacher's ability to carry out learning tasks in school and is responsible for studentsunder his guidance by improving student learning achievement. Teacher performance in learning is the most important partin supporting the creation of an effective learning process. In an effort to improve teacher performance both in terms ofcompetence and skills in the learning process, schools need to pay attention to factors that can improve the teacher'sperformance in developing all their potential. One of them is by attending and Training (Training). However, there are stillsome low teacher performance, among others: teaching uncreatively in the sense of one-way learning without any learninginnovations, there are still teachers who are late in class and out of class before the scheduled change of lesson hours.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotion and retail services to impulsive buying Ramayana Mall in Medan. This study used a qualitative research using surveys and questionnaires to 150 respondents visitors Ramayana Mall Medan. Sampling technique using non-probability sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. It was found that the promotion variable positive and significant effect on impulsive buying Ramayana Mall in Medan and retail service variable positive and significant effect on impulsive buying Ramayana Mall in Medan.

Abstract

The objective research to examine the influence of accountability, transparency and public participation in village financial management of village development. The population in this study were people who participated in village development meetings in Paluh Manis Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency. The method used in this study was purposive sampling method, and the number of samples obtained was 36 people. The type of research used is quantitative research. The results of this study indicate that based on the t test or partial test of accountability, transparency and public participation partially and significantly influence village development, based on the Simultaneous F test shows that the variables of accountability, transparency and publicparticipation jointly have a significant influence on village development. This research is expected to be able to provide useful input for the Village Government to work together in order to further increase transparency, accountability, and public participation in village financial management so as to further enhance village development into a developed and developing village.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of performance management on employee behavior at PT. POS IndonesiaRantau Prapat. This study was conducted from December 01, 2018 to May 21, 2019. The number of samples in this study asmany as 60 people. Variables in the study consisted of free variables namely performance management (X), while boundvariables were employee behavior (Y). Data analysis is done with a simple regression test. Based on the method applied bythe authors, this study obtained a partial hypothesis test, on performance management variables have a significant influenceof 0.00 < 0.05 (value degree of freedom) on employee behavior. In addition, the beta value showed a result of 0.529 whichmeans it has a positive and significant effect. Based on the coefficient of determination test can be seen the R-Square valueof 0.248. This means that a 24.8% variation in the value of employee behavior can be explained by the role of performancemanagement. So it can be concluded that performance management affects employee behavior by 24.8% and the remaining75.2% is influenced by other variables such as incentives, training, and organizational environment.

Abstract

Guru merupakan pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran, yang memiliki tugas utama adalah mendidik dan mengajar. Guru dituntut mencari tahu terus-menerus bagaimana seharusnya peserta didik itu belajar. Potensi yang dimiliki Guru perlu ditingkatkan melalui komunikasi kepala sekolah. Kepala sekolah merupakan sumber pesan (informasi) di sekolah yang dibutuhkan oleh pendidik dan disampaikan, supaya terlaksana dalam pengembangan guru dan siswa (Fatimah, dkk, 2015). Upaya meningkatkan kinerja guru tidak selalu berkembang dengan lancar, karena banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi baik itu muncul dari diri sendiri maupun dari luar pribadi guru. Mengarah kepada masalah yang dihadapi sekolah SMA GKPI Padang Bulan yang menguraikan beberapa guru belum tepat waktu menyerahkan laporan hasil kinerjanya seperti RPP, Silabus, Prota dan Prosen, daftar kegiatan harian kinerja guru, selain itu guru masih ada yang terlambat datang ke sekolah, yang akhirya memunculkan kurang profesionalnya kinerja guru tersebut. Selain itu, kondisi guru belum sesuai dengan harapan seperti masih terdapat guru bekerja sambilan, ada diluar profesi, ada menekuni kegiatan rutinitas ((Fatimah, dkk, 2015) seperti berladang. Realitanya banyak guru beranggapan bahwa profesi guru itu adalah pekerjaa biasa, sehingga nilai-nilai pendidikan kurang ditanamkan pada peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, sebagai tugas tambahan kepala sekolah dalam mempimpin suatu lembaga, dimana agar pengembangan profesional kinerja guru dapat berjalan lancar diperlukan komunikasi yang efektif oleh kepala sekolah. Uraian tersebut merumuskan masalah “Apakah komunikasi kepala sekolah mampu mempengaruhi motivasi kinerja guru SMA GKPI Padang Bulan Medan?”, sehingga terjawablah, hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai thitung 1,307 dan nilai probabilitas sig. 0,197 bermakna adanya pengaruh komunikasi kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kineja guru.
