Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Disease SyndromeCoronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Health workforce efforts to break the chain of virus transmission in Health Service Facilities.Therefore it is very important to apply knowledge and perceptions of transmission of COVID-19. Some literature states thatthere is a relationship between one's compliance with knowledge and perception. However, other researchers said there wasno linkage of deficiencies, so researchers wanted to see which one was most appropriate about this. To determine therelationship between nurses' compliance implementing COVID-19 Pandemic Health Protocol with COVID-19 knowledgedand perception of COVID-19.. Caterogical analysis using cross sectional design. Nurses working at Avicenna Bireuen Hospitalin 2020. The research data were obtained from primary data using a COVID-19 Health Protocol compliance questionnaire,knowledge and perception questionnaire of COVID-19. Then do to analysis with the Chi Square test. The results of ChiSquare test showed that there was a significant relationship between nurses' compliance implementing COVID-19 pandemichealth protocol with knowledge of COVID- 19 wih a value of P=0.004 (p<0.05) and perceptions of COVID-19 with a value ofP=0.012 (p<0.05). Nurses who adhere to the COVID-19 pandemic health protocol have good knowledge of COVID-19 andgood perceptions of COVID-19.

Abstract

Hemoptysis is a symptom of removal of blood from mouths that are filled with a feeling of wanting to cough hematemesis ablood drain, black which is not and weal. To find out the picture of the chest X ray of patients with pulmonary disease whoexperienced symptoms of hemotysis in February 2018 – june 2018 at Dr. Pirngadi Medan. The type to be used in thisresearch is descriptive research and cross sectional research design. study. Population is patient of polyclinic of lung atRSUD Dr. Pirngadi Medan. The sample in this study is the medical record data from febuary 2018 – june 2018 in patients inthe pulmonary clinic RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Medan. The results of chest X-ray images in lung patients with most hemoptysissymptoms were infiltrates of 40 (75.5), the most gender who experience symptoms of hemoptysis are men as many as 40(75.5%), the highest age who experience symptoms of hemoptysis is 21-30 years as many as 22 (41.5%), the most lungdiagnosis of hemoptysis is 30 pulmonary tuberculosis (56.6%). There is a picture of chest X-ray infiltrates more common inlung disease patients with hemoptysis symptoms.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis merupakan salah satu penyebab perikarditis yang banyak dijumpai dalam praktik dokter sehari-hari yang sering diawali dengan keluhan demam dan dalam perjalanan penyakitnya menjadi progresif karena dapat menimbulkan suatu tamponade jantung, dan sering kali didiagnosa terlambat. Sebelum era terapi antituberkulosis, perikarditis TB merupakan kasus yang cepat menjadi fatal dengan angka kematian awal lebih dari 80 %. Sejak diperkenalkannya obat antituberkulosis (OAT) tahun 1945, angka kematian akibat perikarditis TB menurun bermakna, menjadi 3-17 % di Afrika Selatan.

Abstract

Introduction: acne vulgaris is included in the disease that can heal itself (self-limited disease). Found in all age groups, which is chronic inflammation of the pilosebaceous follicles. The cause of acne vulgaris is multifactorial with clinical features in the form of blackheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts. Aloe Vera is a fugsional plant because all parts can be utilized. The part of aloe vera that is cut there is mucus in the form of a gel can stimulate the formation of epidermal tissue and help the skin regeneration process. This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Aloe Vera Gel in Healing Acne Skin (Acne Vulgaris) in Muhammadiyah North Sumatra Medical Students Class of 2019. Method: Involving 30 respondents who have acne vulgaris. It is a one-group observation experimental study Pretest-Posttes Design. The examination of the degree of acne vulgaris is assessed based on the criteria of the Indonesia Acne Expert Meeting (IAEM). The collected data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: From the characteristics of respondents based on sex, dominated by women, namely 22 respondents (73.3%) compared to 8 respondents (26.7%). The majority of mild degrees were 18 respondents (60%), followed by moderate acne 12 respondents (40%). In the first use, there were data results, namely as many as 18 respondents (60%) had mild acne levels, while 12 respondents (40%) had moderate acne levels. In the second use, 18 respondents (60%) had mild skin, while 12 respondents (40%) had moderate skin. In the third use, it can be seen from the results of the data, namely skin that experienced moderate degrees to 7 respondents (23.3%), while 23 respondents (76.7%) still had skin with mild degrees. Conclusion: There is a significant effectiveness of aloe vera gel in healing acne prone skin in Medical Students of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra, Class of 2019.
