Abstract

Produk cacat merupakan barang atau jasa yang dibuat dalam proses produksi namun memiliki kekurangan yang menyebabkan nilai atau mutunya kurang baik atau kurang sempurna. PT. Panarub Industry adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur, khususnya sepatu Adidas. Plant 5 cell 1 adalah plant yang memproduksi sepatu jenis outdoor, salah satunya yaitu sepatu model Terrex AX2 Goretex yang mempunyai tingkat kegagalan produk sebesar 13,65% pada proses produksi dan ini melebihi dari toleransi kegagalan yang ditetapkan perusahaan sebesar 3%, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan untuk mengurangi jumlah kecacatan produk pada tiap proses produksi. Metodologi penelitian yang dilakukan untuk pemecahan masalah yaitu dengan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kecacatan produk berdasarkan proses produksi saat ini, tahapan selanjutnya dengan menggunakan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengidentifikasi potensi failure mode, potensi efek kegagalan, penyebab kegagalan, mode-mode deteksi, dan menentukan rating terhadap severity, occurance,dan detection pada risk priority number pada proses produksi. Berdasarkan hasil dari penilaian pada RPN, didapatkan proses sewing dengan skor 576, dan assembling 512 dengan skor 512 mendapatkan nilai RPN tertinggi dan mempunyai tingkat kecacatan mayor. Usulan perbaikan untuk Cacat sewing dengan melakukan pengawasan, training, dan pengecekan mesin secara berkala, penggunaan jarum sesuai standar. Cacat assembling dengan pemeriksaan, pengawasan, penggantian peralatan, dan pengecekan mesin secara berkala. Dengan menerapkan usulan tersebut diharapkan dapat menurunkan tingkat kecacatan produk.

Abstract

Industri makanan dan minuman merupakan salah satu sektor penting perekonomian Indonesia. Namun, sifatnya yang perishable membuat peramalan permintaan bagi produk ini menjadi suatu hal yang krusial. Karena skenario ini, maka perusahaan yang bergerak pada ndustri makanan dan minuman memerlukan sebuah metode peramalan permintaan yang bisa memberikan tingkat akurasi tinggi dan cepat menanggapi perubahan terhadap permintaan. Sehingga tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan metode peramalan terhadap permintaan dengan tingkat error terkecil. Dalam kasus industri minuman jus siap minum, peramalan permintaan bukan hanya sekedar pemenuhan permintaan konsumen semata, tapi lebih kearah efisiensi perencanaan produksi dan efisiensi pengaturan raw material. Dalam studi kasus yang dilakukan pada salah satu industri jus siap minum didapat dengan menggunakan metode peramalan Holt winter didapat penurunan tingkat error forecast dengan MAPE mencapai 6%.Keyword: Demand forecasting, Holt Winter, Industri jus, MAPE

Abstract

Starting a home bakery and donut business is an attractive option for many individuals who have skills in cooking or baking, as well as an interest in the food industry. By taking advantage of time flexibility and lower initial costs than opening a physical store, this business offers the potential to generate additional income or even become a main source of income. Supporting quality and innovative food products on the menu can win the hearts of local customers and support the community economy. Although there are challenges in terms of licensing, operational management, and adapting to market changes, strategic steps in market research, business planning, product development, marketing, and inventory management can help build a successful and sustainable business in this sector. In conclusion, starting a bakery and donut business at home is not only about cooking skills, but also about creativity, effective business management, and commitment to providing added value to customers and the community as a whole.

Abstract

In designing a company, one of the most crucial aspects to consider is the increasing utilization of Renewable Energy, particularly Solar Energy, as a substitute for conventional electricity. Based on this aspect, the author aims to determine the extent of the business opportunity for the proposed company. The growth of Renewable Energy usage in Indonesia has reached 147.02% in terms of Solar Energy adoption, with the implementation and utilization of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) increasing by 200% during the period of 2020–2024. This study aims to analyze the investment feasibility and business planning projection for a new company, PT. Panel Surya Gama Infinity. The analysis is conducted based on several key aspects, including: industry and competitor analysis using the PESTEL method (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environment, and Legal), market and marketing analysis, development of organizational structure and human resources, operational planning, and financial feasibility analysis. Financial projections are analyzed for the period 2025 to 2029 through income statements, changes in equity, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. The results show a Payback Period of 1.81 years, a Break Even Point (BEP) of Rp 8.37 billion, a Contribution Margin of 59.6%, and a Return on Investment (ROI) of 47.11% in the second year. These indicators demonstrate strong business feasibility and effective capital utilization. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan literasi digital akademik yang memadai dalam menyusun laporan kerja praktek dan skripsi, namun masih ditemukan berbagai kendala seperti kesulitan dalam mengelola referensi, pencarian literatur, serta pemanfaatan tools digital yang belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penulisan ilmiah melalui pemanfaatan Mendeley dan SciSpace AI. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop daring yang meliputi penyampaian materi, demonstrasi penggunaan tools, praktik mandiri, diskusi, serta evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 11 April 2026 dengan melibatkan 89 mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Teknik Industri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berjalan dengan baik dan mendapatkan respons sangat positif dengan skor evaluasi pada rentang 4,5–4,9, serta lebih dari 80% peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menyusun laporan ilmiah. Selain itu, peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dalam manajemen referensi, pencarian literatur berbasis AI, serta kesadaran terhadap etika penggunaan teknologi. Kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital akademik dan kualitas penulisan ilmiah mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan serupa perlu dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan dengan penambahan materi lanjutan, pendampingan intensif, serta pengembangan media pembelajaran mandiri berbasis digital.

Abstract

This research is motivated by data showing the productivity of monthly checking of variable speed belts by the finishing department which was only achieved 2 times during the 2021 period. For this problem, researchers conducted research aimed at increasing the results of checking variable speed belts. The objectives to be achieved in this study include: (1) Increase the productivity of the variable speed checking department. (2) Optimizing the existing information management system with the addition of automation features. (3) Knowing the results of the implementation of an information management system that has been optimized for the productivity of checking belt variable speed. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Decision making for improvement is made with the AHP method. System descriptions are done using UML. Analysis of the current system using use case diagrams and system testing using the black box method. The results showed a decrease in the time needed for the variable speed belt checking process from 7 minutes 21 seconds to 7 minutes 6 seconds, so that the checking results increased by 9.19% from an average of 6.91 S / M / H to 7.545 S / M / H. Keywords: Productivity, AHP, UML, use case, black box

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to identify and reduce product defects occurring during the production process. Data was collected from January to December 2023, with an initial defect rate of 8.65%, equivalent to 86,500 defects per million opportunities (DPMO). Through the application of the Lean Six Sigma method, the defect rate was successfully reduced to 6.16%, or 61,600 DPMO. The initial Sigma level was 3.82 and increased to 4.10 after improvements. This approach involves several key stages: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). In the Define stage, the problem is clearly defined, including identifying the most frequent types of defects such as cracks, surface blemishes, and size variations. In the Measure stage, data is collected and analyzed to identify problematic areas, using statistical tools like histograms, Pareto charts, and control charts. In the Analyze stage, an in-depth analysis is conducted to find the root causes of defects through methods like the 5 Why's and fishbone diagram. In the Improve stage, solutions are implemented to address the root causes, such as adjusting machine parameters, retraining employees, and enhancing raw material quality. In the Control stage, steps are taken to ensure that the improvements made can be sustained in the long term by implementing regular monitoring procedures and quality audits.
