Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the process of processing the fruit of gelugur acid since the fruits are harvested, toknow the cost of processing the fruits of gelugur from the fruit is processed until ready to be marketed and to know the valueadded and the margin that occurs in the processing of the gelugur fruits. This study was conducted for approximately I monthwhere the research area is determined by purposive sampling in Kecamatan Dolok Panribuan, Kabupaten Simalungun. Thepopulation in this research is the entrepreneur who process the fruits of gelugur acid. The amount of processor of thisgelugur is 3 people using census method. The collected data was first tabulated based on the type and the need performedhypothesis testing in accordance with the hypothesis that has been formulated. The result showed that the process of theprocessing of gelugur acid fruit in the research area is still traditional. Using cutting tools there is no thought processor in thatdirection until the time this research is done, so the hypothesis stating that the process of processing fruits gelugur done inthe research area is still traditional, acceptable. The largest production cost of processing is the purchase of raw materials orfruit acid gelugur, which reached Rp. 37,059,889.82, so the hypothesis stating that the largest processing production costs inprocessing is the purchase of raw materials or fruit acid gelugur, can be accepted. Value added is abtained at 316.66%,which means greater than 50% and margin obtained by 166.43%, which means greater than 20%. Thus the hypothesiswhich states that the added value int the treatment of acid gelugur is >50% of the value of production costs, while theamount of margin is >20% the value of production costs, acceptable. This shows a real effect on the analysis of added valueand treatment of acid gelugur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kelayakan akumulatif logam berat Timbal (Pb) pada POC yang berbahan baku limbah buangan air tahu dan ikan teri setelah mengalami proses dekomposisi selama dua minggu. Analisa kelayakan logam Timbal (Pb) dilakukkan di/oleh Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Industri (BARISTAN-MEDAN) dengan analisa kelayakan mengacu pada Standart Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 19-7030-2004. Dari analisa yang dilakukkan ditemukan ada akumulatif logam Timbal (Pb) pada POC sebesar 0,70 mg/kg. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, POC hasil dekomposisi air tahu dan ikan teri dinyatakan aman dan tidah beracun logam berat. Standarat maksimum logam berat Timbal (Pb) yang diperbolehkan pada pupuk organik sebesar 500mg/kg.

Abstract

Sangkup adalah suatu metode dalam budidaya tanaman yang dimanfaatkan sebagai naungan atau rumah budidya tanaman untuk melakukkan kegiatan perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan. Sangkup dapat dibuat dari bahan pelastik bening atau pelastik transparan serta dapat juga dibuat dari bahan pelastik yang berwarna. Metode sangkup menciptakan habitat mikro dengan kondisi iklim seperti suhu,intesitas cahaya dan kelembapan udara menjadi lebih optimum. Sangkup dengan ketinggian 80 cm menciptakan suhu habitat mikronya sebesar 23,80C sedangkan sangkup dengan ketinggian 120 cm menciptakan suhu rata-rata sebesar 24,10C. Penggunaan sangkup, memudahkan masuknya cahaya matahari dari segala arah sehingga terjadi sintesis hormon auxin secara merata pada tanaman. Kelembapan udara 80-90% di dalam habitat mikro sangkup merupakan kondisi terbaik dalam pembentukan akar di waktu pertumbuhan tanaman. Tanaman yang di tumbuhkan di dalam sangkup selama enam minggu menunjukkan keberhasilan sebanyak 58% pada saat aklimatisasi.

Abstract

Metode penentuan sample dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara Stratified Random Sampling dimana sample diambil secara acak. Besarnya populasi dalam pelitian ini adalah sebesar 75 Kepala Keluarga (KK). Besarnya sample penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan pada jumlah populasi, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 Kepala Keluarga (KK) (40%). Model analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis linear berganda dengan uji secara parsial dan serempak. Dari penelitian diketahui bahwa : Umur, pendidikan, pengalaman bertani, luas lahan yang diusahakan, jumlah tanggungan dan modal petani berpengaruh signifikasi terhadap variable pendapatan petani usahatani kecuali variabel jumlah tanggungan dari nilai t-hitung sig-p> 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work program extension granted to the Joint Farmers Group (union) on the response and perception Gapoktan. This research was conducted in the village of Dolat Rayat, District Karo. This location was selected on the basis that in the district is one of the locations that have experienced Agricultural Extension and farmer groups are quite a lot and accomplished. The research was conducted. The population in this study is the Farmers Group Association (union) in the territory of the District Karo. Of each member of the group of farmers in farmer group in the village of Dolat Rayat, selected 30 respondents. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression. The results showed that the response to the program agricultural extension work is high at 53.33% correlation of test results obtained by the r value of 0.727. This means that the work program extension granted to the farmer Group Association in the research area. Socio factors have a significant effect on the response and perception Combined farmer Group Association in the research area. Socio-economic factors have a significant effect on the response and perception Combined farmer groups ( union). The level of education has a greater influence on the response farmers to agricultural extension programs in the amount of 42.30%, followed by the age of 37.10%, a land area of 27.40 % and the number of dependents of 5.30 %. Corn crop productivity in the research area 5326.83 kg/ha/year. It is still relatively low because of the potential maximum production of corn hybrids between 7-11 tonnes/ha. The amount of net income of farmers in the research area is Rp. 4.989,684,17 /ha/year or Rp. 891,470, 19/ha/month which is still relatively low when compared to the local minimum wage District Karo Rp. 1.69195 million/month. Corn farming research area deserves to be continued or efficient value Output Input Ratio (OIR) by 1.51.
