Abstract

Belum adanya instrumen penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan IPA yang layak dalam menilai proses pembelajaran IPA menyebabkan kurang optimalnya proses penilaian. Tujuan penelitian yaitu merancang instrumen penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan IPA yang dilihat dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran, dan daya beda soal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model RDR (Research Development Research) Borg & Gall dengan tahapan-tahapan yaitu: (1) studi pendahuluan (research), (2) mengembangkan produk (development), dan (3) validasi produk (research). Subjek penilaian penelitian ini yaitu instrumen penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan IPA yang terdiri atas kisi-kisi tes, tes obyektif pilihan ganda, lembar penilaian, dan rubrik penilaian dengan jumlah pertanyaan sebanyak 40 butir. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes obyektif pilihan ganda. Instrumen tes yang digunakan berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda untuk menilai kompetensi pengetahuan siswa. Metode analisis data validitas isi menggunakan rumus Gregory. Hasil penelitian ini adalah uji validitas isi sebesar 1.00 termasuk kategori sangat tinggi, uji validitas butir dihasilkan 32 butir tes valid, uji reliabilitas tes sebesar 0,816 termasuk kriteria sangat tinggi, analisis daya beda soal tidak diperoleh soal dengan kriteria sangat baik, 13 soal cukup baik, 3 soal baik, dan 16 soal kurang baik, analisis tingkat kesukaran diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat 13 soal dengan kriteria mudah dan 19 soal dengan kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka instrumen penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan IPA kelas V SD yang telah dirancang layak digunakan.

Abstract

The research that examines the effect of guided inquiry learning models on science learning outcomes has been done a lot, but the results of these studies have not received further study to be summarized and re-tested the effectiveness of the effects of the learning model used. This study aimed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models on the science learning outcomes of elementary students. This research was library research with meta-analysis data analysis techniques. The subjects of this study were 7 research articles from various Sinta accredited research journals. Data collection used literature study techniques which were followed by reviewing articles related to the research topic. This study analyzed the effect size of each article. The results of the analysis of the value of each research article obtained the highest value of 1.34, which is included in the large category and there is a research article obtaining a value of 0.78 which has a medium category. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the guided inquiry learning model has a great influence on improving the learning outcomes of elementary school science students. It also reinforces the results of previous research which states the guided inquiry learning model has a positive effect on improving science learning outcomes of elementary school students.
