<![CDATA[Abstrak: Kelurahan Pulau Rona adalah salah satu penghasil serai wangi di Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau. Selama ini Ibu PKK di Kelurahan Pulau Rona hanya menjual serai wangi tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu kepada pengepul atau pembeli dengan harga murah, sedangkan harga bibit serai wangi yang sangat tinggi oleh karena itu dilakukan pengabdian ini untuk mencari cara dengan metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu : 1. Penyuluhan tentang teknologi pembuatan produk olahan serai wangi 2. Pelatihan Packing/pengamasan produk olahan serai wangi, 3. Pendampingan IPTEK terhadap Ibu-Ibu PKK. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan baru sebagai wujud pemberdayaan kepada Ibu PKK. Dari hasil kegiatan, mitra memberikan respon positif, antusisas dan bersikap kooperatif dalam mengikuti keseluruhan kegiatan. Mitra telah mengetahui prosedur dan alat untuk produksi dan pengemasan produk olahan serai wangi. Mitra merasa bertambah wawasan dan ketrampilannya setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Abstract: Pulau Rona Village is one of the producers of citronella in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. So far, Ms. PKK in Pulau Rona Village only sells citronella without being processed first to collectors or buyers at low prices, while the price of citronella seeds is very high, therefore this service is carried out to find ways with the methods used in this activity, namely: 1. Counseling on the technology of making citronella processed products 2. Training on packing/protecting citronella processed products, 3. Science and technology assistance to PKK women. The purpose of this activity is to provide new knowledge and skills as a form of empowerment for PKK mothers. From the results of the activity, partners gave a positive response, were enthusiastic and cooperative in participating in all activities.
