Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan motivasi pada warga binaan anak di LPKA Pekanbaru. Kegiatan dilakukan di LPKA jalan Pemasyarakatan nomor 4, Rumbai, Pekanbaru-Riau. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan cara ceramah, Tanya jawab dan games. Peserta yang menjadi audiens adalah warga binaan anak sejumlah 40 orang yang dipilih oleh petugas. Usia peserta ditetapkan antara 16–19 tahun. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah agar napi anak memiliki motivasi untuk menjadi lebih baik, agar napi anak memiliki kepercayaan diri yang baik, agar napi anak memiliki fikiran positif, kreativitas positif dan mampu bekerjasama dalam tim. Melalui pemberian kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan anak-anak yang telah menyelesaikan hukuman dapat kembali ke masyarakat dan menjalani kehidupan secara normal. Bagi pelaksana kegiatan diharapkan dapat memberikan pengembangan keilmuan yang dapat menjadi referensi bagi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ditemukan bahwa permainan yang berisi pendidikan nilai dan norma didalamnya dapat menjadi jalan pembelajaran bagi para peserta permainan untuk menghayati betapa pentingnya pemahaman dan semangat kekompakan dan kegotongroyongan.Abstract: This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing motivation to child inmates in LPKA Pekanbaru. Activities carried out in Pengayoman street  nomor 4, Rumbai, Pekanbaru-Riau. The implementation method uses presentation, questions & answers and games. Participants who became the audience were 40 child-assisted inmates selected by the officers. The age of the participants was set between 16-19 years. The expected output target of community service is that the prisoners of children have the motivation to become better, so that prisoners of children have good self-confidence, so that prisoners children have positive thoughts, positive creativity and be able to work in teams. Through the provision of community service activities, it is expected that children who have completed the sentence can return to the community and lead a normal life. The executor of the activity is expected to provide scientific development that can become a reference for other community service activities. Based on the results of the implementation activity, it was found that games that contain education of values and norms in it can be a way of learning for game participants to appreciate the importance of understanding and the spirit of cohesiveness and mutual cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether the given of education using hybrid learning method to mothers as the first school at home in protecting the environment through the use of reusable masks (re-washing) is effective in overcoming the accumulation of disposable mask waste during the Covid-19 pandemic. The use of disposable masks has the potential to become a problem of accumulating rubbish that has the potential to earth damage, especially during the pandemic. The use of repeated washing masks and an understanding of their care and maintenance can help these problems. Mothers who are teachers in the family are the right target to be given socialization on the use of washing masks so that they become an extension of the government in helping address environmental problems. The hybrid learning method is deemed suitable to be used during the pandemic to suppress virus transmission. The research was conducted in Agust - October 2021. The place where the research was carried out was at IMH PSIKOLATES Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative methods and is described in a descriptive way. The research subjects were 10 mothers, selected purposively with the following criteria: 1) aged 30 years - 55 years, 2) having children more than 1, 3) domicile in the city of Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the hybrid learning method in educating mothers about the use of re-washing masks and maintaining their cleanliness was useful in helping reduce disposable mask waste, especially during the Covid19 pandemic.
