Abstract

ABSTRAKLanskap jalan terdiri dari dua komponen utama yaitu elemen hardscape dan softscape. Salah satuelemen hardscape yang dapat digunakan dalam lanskap jalan adalah patung. Penempatan patung yang tepatdalam penataan lanskap jalan akan dapat memberikan karakter jalan. Patung juga bisa menjadi mercu tandayang menjadi identitas jalan sehingga memberi kesan bagi pengguna jalan. Salah satu daerah di Indonesiayang memiliki lanskap jalan dengan penggunaan patung di dalamnya adalah Provinsi Bali. Sebagai simbolpariwisata Indonesia, Bali memiliki suplai wisata berupa keindahan alam dan atraksi seni budaya. Patungyang digunakan dalam lanskap jalan di Bali mewakili perwujudan ekspresi seni dan budaya serta agamaHindu yang merupakan kepercayaan utama di Provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisispenggunaan patung pada lanskap jalan di Provinsi Bali. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode studi kasusdan analisis nilai penting. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Denpasar, Kabupaten Badung, danKabupaten Gianyar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa nilai signifikan dari patung-patung yangada pada lanskap jalan di lokasi penelitian adalah budaya, sains, dan agama.

Abstract

Situ di Jabodetabek telah ditetapkan sebagai kawasan lindung, namun kondisinya terus menyusut dan terancam hilang.  Keberhasilan pengelolaan situ antara lain ditentukan oleh faktor kelembagaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan peran kelembagaan pengelolaan situ berdasarkan kebutuhan dan karakteristik situ.  Metode yang digunakakan adalah Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) yang diterapkan pada kasus Situ Cipondoh. Pengelolaan situ ditujukan untuk menjaga fungsi hirdrologi berupa fungsi pengendalian banjir dan cadangan air permukaan.  Persoalan-persoalan yang terkait dengan batas yuridis kawasan, koordinasi dan komunikasi antar pihak, serta aturan/kebijakan yang belum memadai menjadi kendala utama dalam pengelolaan situ.  Sehingga dalam pengelolaan situ, kegiatan identifikasi dan inventarisasi data situ, rekonsiliasi dan penetapan aset situ, serta upaya pengamanan situ dengan membangun batas situ dalam bentuk fisik perlu menjadi program yang diprioritaskan.  BBWS-CC dan Walikota memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pengelolaan Situ Cipondoh.  Penanganan kegiatan pengelolaan sebuah situ membutuhkan koordinasi intensif dari banyak kegiatan dan banyak pihak dari berbagai level, sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya diperlukan sebuah unit pelaksana teknis yang secara khusus menangani situ.

Abstract

Weed constitute one the main problems encountered in urban parks, including those growing on paved park grounds, because in addition to impairing the beauty of the parks they also reduced their function and durability. By weed inventory on park grounds management actions can be planned and conducted Field observation were carried out for two months at the "Monumen Nasional" grounds in Jakarta. Two widely used types of pavement were selected, i.e. conblock and grassblock. The Dominance Value Summed Dominance Ratio were calculated using Tjitro Soedirdjo. Three groups of wide grew in this area, i.e. broad leaves weeds, grasses, and sedges. The species growing on both types of pavement and in both ecological condition are Cyperus rotundus, Eleusine indica, and Euphorbia thymyfolia. Eleven species were identified on shaded and on open conblock respectively. Of these species, nine species grew on both condition, but at varying level of dominance. These are Euphorbia thymifolia, Eleusine indica, Cyperus rotundus, Hedyotis corymbosa, Portulaca oleraceae, Axonopus compressus, Ricahardia brasiliensis, Bacopa procumbens, and Synedrella nodiflora. Eight species were found on shaded grassblock and nine species on open grassblock. Species were found in both condition, i.e. Cyperus rotundus, Eleusine indica, Euphorbia thymyfolia, Chrysopogon aciculatus, and Borreria repens.

Abstract

An experiment on the effect of Pb pollutants on the growth and development of two widely used ornamental plants, i.e. Lantana sellowiana and Ixora chinensis, was conducted at the IPB Greenhouse, Baranangsiang, Bogor from mid September 1990 to the end of December 1990. The experiment aimed to determine the effect of concentration levels of Pb in the form of PbCl2 upon the growth and development of the two ornamental plants. The experiment consisted of two units, each of which was based on the complete randomized design. Treatments consisted of four concentration levels of PbCI2, i.e. 0, 250, 2500, and 25 000 ppm, applied to each unit with three replications. Observation during 12 weeks showed that treatments with 250 and 2500 ppm PbCl2 did not give significant damage to the growth and development of Lantana sellowiana. Concentration level of 25 000 ppm, however, interfered growth and development of this species six weeks after planting. On the other hand, the concentration levels used in this experiment had no toxic effect on the growth and development of Ixora chinensis.

Abstract

An experiment to test the growth and development of selected legumes, i.e. Peltophorum pterocarpus DC Heyne (soga), Cassia multijuga Rich. (kasia), Cassia surattensi Burm. f. (galenggang) and Caesalpinia pulcherrima Swartz (kembang merak),  on tin tailings was conducted at Tambang Terentang 25, Pangkal Pinang Production Site, Bangka Tin Miningfrom mid March 1989 to January 1990. The four legumes were selected for the facility in obtaining seed, their ability to improve soil fertility, and their ornamental value. The experiment on four legumes on tin tailing, compared to those grown on yellowish brown Podzol association and Bangka podzol, consisted of four parallel trial units based on the randomized block design with three replications. The tests results of 14 weeks of growth indicate the legumes tested, with the exception of Cassia surattensi Burm.f possess an adequate potential to be grown and developed on tin tailing for the improvement of visual quality, vertical and horizontal structure, and ecological function of the lanscape tailing on Bangka Island.

Abstract

According to Act No 26/2007 about Spatial Planning, each region is required to provide 30% of its territory as green open space (RTH), sharing of 20% as public RTH and 10% as private RTH. Ministry of Public Works introduced the Green City Development Program (P2KH) (Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum, 2012) to assist the implementation of the mandate of this Act. This study aims to identify and predict the needs of public RTH in Kandangan City and organize referrals for expansion using Green City approach. The needs of RTH is calculated based on vast territory, population and comfort index. Comfort index of Kandangan City are in comfortable range. Based on vast territory, it takes 735,39 ha land for public RTH. Based on population, Kandangan City requires 170,81 ha. Atribute of Gren City approach used is Green Open Space. Compared with Zoning, Regulation, there should be more area needed for public RTH as green belt.
