Abstract

The purpose of this research is generally to describe the effectiveness of the application of the discovery learning learning model by using a problem posing approach on the quadrilateral material of class VII. This research uses experimental type of quantitative research. This study took two groups, namely the first class is the control class and the second class is the experimental class with 17 students each. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and tests in the form of posttest and pretest. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that the teacher's ability to manage learning using the discovery learning learning model with a problem posing approach was said to be effective, because the average aspect was in the very good category, namely 3.9. And the results of the analysis of student activity observation data are in the very good category, namely 98.81%. Based on the percentage of classical completeness of mathematics learning outcomes after the discovery learning model was applied, 100% was categorized as complete and 0% incomplete. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, learning with discovery learning learning models with a problem posing approach is higher than students who are taught using conventional learning.

Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental study, namely the application of hybrid learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in low-grade science courses. The research subjects were 28 fourth semester students for the 2020-2021 academic year, STKIP PGRI Bangkalan PGSD Study Program. The design used is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The purpose of the study was to describe hybrid learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in low-grade science courses. The results of the study, namely scientific skills experienced a significant increase in the medium category. The results of student responses to hybrid learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Low Grade Science course were positive. It can be said that hybrid learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in low-grade science courses is effective

Abstract

Education as a human effort to grow and develop talents and potentials that are owned from birth. To understand science, mathematics education needs to be mastered by students to help them digest the sciences that will come later at a higher level. Based on data released by Worldtop20.org, Indonesia's education ranking in 2023 is ranked 67th out of 203 countries in the world, this shows that interest in learning in Indonesia is still relatively low. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) model assisted by Photomath interactive learning media on Algebra material. The results of descriptive statistics show that the application of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) learning model assisted by Photomath interactive learning media on Algebra material has met the indicators of completeness. It can be concluded that math learning is efficient from the implementation of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) model assisted by Photomath interactive learning media on Algebra material in class VII-A SMP Negeri 1 Socah which is observed through student learning outcomes, student responses, and student activities. This can be seen through the results of data analysis which overall reached a value of ≥75 or can be said to exceed the target set.

Abstract

Effective educational leadership requires good communication and teamwork skills. Effective communication and solid teamwork can help improve the quality of education and achieve educational goals. This article aims to discuss the role of communication and teamwork in effective educational leadership. The research method used is a systematic literature study. From the literature study, it was found that; First, there are six characteristics of effective leader communication, namely; gentle attitude, not rude in speech, not hard-hearted, forgiving and asking for forgiveness, inviting deliberation, and committing to implementing joint decisions and trusting in God. Second, effective leader communication plays a role in; 1) increasing effectiveness in sharing vision and mission; 2) improving the performance of staff, especially teachers; 3) building  partnerships  with  the  school community; 4) building a conducive school climate; 5) improving student achievement. The results of the study show that effective communication and solid teamwork can help improve the quality of education and achieve educational goals.
