Abstract

Social studies learning is learning related to social relationships. Social studies learning is also related to human and community interactions at school and outside of school. Meanwhile, distance learning greatly limits social activities due to health protocols, so this certainly has an impact on the learning process, including social studies learning in elementary schools. Moreover, social studies learning which teaches students related social and citizenship issues, of course, is quite difficult to teach through distance learning and in conditions of limiting social activities. Some of the obstacles experienced by students are the limited time in the online learning process, the difficulty of students in understanding the learning material delivered by the teacher, network constraints which are sometimes less stable and the home atmosphere which is sometimes less conducive to learning. Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of pencak silat single moves through the implementation of contextual teaching and learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles with the design cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation/evaluation and reflection. The research subjects were students of grade VI of SD Negeri 3 Pekutatan. Based on the results of data analysis the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the first cycle amounted to 81.25% (an increase in cycle II to 93.75%. The average percentage of cycle I and II amounted to 87.5% with a good category, which means mastery learning mastery single pencak silat is said to be complete because it meets the KKM classically that is ≥ 67%. The conclusion is that the learning outcomes of pencak silat single increases through the implementation of contextual teaching and learning. Keywords: contextual teaching and learning, learning outcomes, single pencak silat

Abstract

Education is the spearhead of the progress of a nation. Education is an effort that is deliberately designed to achieve the goals that have been set. Education aims to improve the quality of human resources. One of the efforts to improve human resources is through the quality of the learning process in schools. Efforts to improve an education require a long time, an orderly and systematic process, because it is related to various aspects of the life of the quality of education, because it is adapted to the times, for example about educational autonomy, community needs, and the spirit of regional autonomy in managing human resources in the future. front. Approaches in learning are very important to do so that the learning process becomes more creative and innovative. In the social studies learning process so far, teachers apply the classical approach and the lecture method is the main choice in learning.

Abstract

Education plays an important and strategic role in producing quality Human Resources (HR) who will build the nation. Education must be able to accommodate and provide solutions in an effort to advance and win the tough and tight global competition, if it wants to survive productively in the midst of global competition. Through physical education provided with the CTL model, it is hoped that students can gain various experiences to express personal impressions that are fun, creative, innovative, skilled, improve and maintain physical fitness and understanding of human movement.

Abstract

Interest in learning is an interest possessed by students which can be expressed as a statement indicating that students prefer something over other things, manifested through participation in an activity. Students who have an interest in certain subjects tend to pay greater attention to certain subjects.
