Abstract

Basically, education is an effort to develop a student’s potential optimally. Character education shapes a child's personality, in order to be better humans and better citizens, so that it is able anticipating moral degradation and have a role in the development of the younger generation. The young generation is the future hope of a country, so the young generation must has a strong character in social life. Character building is an attempt by someone to create his personal character to become a useful person for himself and surrounding. Character education must be built from an early age to make a better future. Social studies learning is really needed in shaping the character of the younger generation, where the role of social studies learning is to develop student’s knowledge, understanding, and analytical skills towards social conditions of the community. The main problem is not yet formed character of students in schools because social studies learning is still at the theory level. Though the essence of this learning is to shape students into citizens the good one which is able to apply character education in social life. Keywords: Social sciences, character

Abstract

Social studies learning is learning related to social relationships. Social studies learning is also related to human and community interactions at school and outside of school. Meanwhile, distance learning greatly limits social activities due to health protocols, so this certainly has an impact on the learning process, including social studies learning in elementary schools. Moreover, social studies learning which teaches students related social and citizenship issues, of course, is quite difficult to teach through distance learning and in conditions of limiting social activities. Some of the obstacles experienced by students are the limited time in the online learning process, the difficulty of students in understanding the learning material delivered by the teacher, network constraints which are sometimes less stable and the home atmosphere which is sometimes less conducive to learning. Abstract

During this pandemic, children are needed as educators to adapt training models to improve their fitness and one of them is a martial arts game training model. Kumite training (fighting) is one of the techniques in the martial arts sport of karate. In the kumite training process, children will be motivated to play attacking techniques such as hitting (zuki) and kicking (geri), parrying techniques (uke), and techniques to avoid opponent attacks. In improving fitness, children can adapt two game training models, such as (1) the zuki hanging ball, this game practice is carried out with the concept of playing with a hanging ball, and (2) hanging ball geri, is an exercise with the concept of playing and using a hanging rubber ball. This activity will at least provide new experiences for children in filling the time in an effort to improve body fitness. Keywords: adaptation; training; games; self-defense; Covid-19

Abstract

Education is the spearhead of the progress of a nation. Education is an effort that is deliberately designed to achieve the goals that have been set. Education aims to improve the quality of human resources. One of the efforts to improve human resources is through the quality of the learning process in schools. Efforts to improve an education require a long time, an orderly and systematic process, because it is related to various aspects of the life of the quality of education, because it is adapted to the times, for example about educational autonomy, community needs, and the spirit of regional autonomy in managing human resources in the future. front. Approaches in learning are very important to do so that the learning process becomes more creative and innovative. In the social studies learning process so far, teachers apply the classical approach and the lecture method is the main choice in learning.

Abstract

Education plays an important and strategic role in producing quality Human Resources (HR) who will build the nation. Education must be able to accommodate and provide solutions in an effort to advance and win the tough and tight global competition, if it wants to survive productively in the midst of global competition. Through physical education provided with the CTL model, it is hoped that students can gain various experiences to express personal impressions that are fun, creative, innovative, skilled, improve and maintain physical fitness and understanding of human movement.

Abstract

Interest in learning is an interest possessed by students which can be expressed as a statement indicating that students prefer something over other things, manifested through participation in an activity. Students who have an interest in certain subjects tend to pay greater attention to certain subjects. Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring melalui penggunaan media pias-pias kata pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 1 Bengkala. Prosedur penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus langkah-langkah dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing) dan refleksi (reflecting). Pada tahap observasi observer dan peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap aktivitas siswa dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran melalui penggunaan media pias-pias kata. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung tercipta pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (student centered) hal ini terlihat dari ketertarikan siswa pada kondisi awal 35 % menjadi 60% pada siklus I meningkat 25% dan menjadi 75% pada siklus II meningkat 15%. Pada indikator partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dari siklus I 65,65% menjadi 91,3% pada siklus II meningkat 25,65%, dari pengamatan performance siswa dalam membaca nyaring pada siklus I 60% menjadi 90% pada siklus II meningkat 30% dan dari hasil kuesioner siswa 72,5% pada siklus I menjadi 92,5% pada siklus II meningkat 20%. Kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan penggunaan media pias-pias kata pada kondisi awal mencapai 1,9 dalam kriteria cukup baik menjadi 3,24 dalam kriteria sangat baik pada siklus I meningkat 1,34 poin dan menjadi 3,9 dalam kriteria sangat baik pada siklus II meningkat 0,66 poin.

Abstract

Salah satu peran guru yang sangat penting adalah menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang bermutu, berkualitas dan menyenangkan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak peningkatan minat literasi siswa terhadap penggunaan media gambar. Meningkatkan kemampuan minat literasi siswa dapat dilihat dari beberapa aspek yaitu : aktivitas siswa, aktivitas guru dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, dan nilai hasil prestasi siswa . Teknik yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas, teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Perolehan data baik aktivitas siswa maupun nilai hasil literasi siswa pada siklus I dan II dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dapat ditafsirkan sebagai berikut; (1) Minat dan kemampuan siswa terhadap literasi sangat baik. (2) Media Gambar sangat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan imajinasi berliterasi. (3) Siswa mampu menginterprestasikan literasi sederhana dengan cara mengkaitkan gambar seri yang diamatinya. (4) Siswa mampu mengkomunikasikan tulisannya berdasarkan hasil pengamatan kepada temannya maupun kepada guru.
