Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between crowded perception on the highway and the tendency of aggressive driving in teenage motorcyclists. Crowded perception is a factor that influences someone to do aggressive driving. This study is a quantitative correlation study using data collection techniques in the form of a crowded perception scale and an aggressive driving tendency scale compiled by the researcher himself. The subjects of the study were 80 teenagers who in their daily activities use motorbikes and have a driving license. The data analysis technique used was product moment analysis with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a correlation value of p = 0.000 <0.05 and r = 0.546> 0.220, meaning Ha was accepted. This means that there is a relationship between crowded perception on the highway and the tendency of aggressive driving in motorbike riders. Based on these results, it means that the higher the crowded perception on the highway, the higher the tendency of aggressive driving in teenage motorcyclists. The results of the analysis also showed that men tend to be more aggressive than women when driving. In addition, the level of aggressiveness also showed differences based on age. At the age of 19, aggressive driving behavior appeared higher than other ages.

Abstract

Hospital claims are reimbursement submissions for healthcare services provided to National Health Insurance (JKN) participants administered by BPJS Kesehatan. Incomplete or inaccurate claim documents may result in Pending claim status, leading to delays in payment to healthcare facilities. This study aimed to determine the relationship between administrative aspects, coding processes, and medical documents with the completeness of BPJS Kesehatan outpatient claims at RSD Idaman Banjarbaru. This research employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The research instrument consisted of a checklist sheet for claim document completeness. The study population included all outpatient claim submission files for the period of July–September 2025, totaling 386 files. The sample comprised 196 files selected using purposive sampling techniques based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis was conducted through univariate and bivariate approaches using the chi-square test. The statistical analysis results demonstrated significant relationships between administrative aspects, coding processes, and medical documents with the completeness of BPJS Kesehatan outpatient claims, as indicated by a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). It can therefore be concluded that improving administrative accuracy, coding precision, and the completeness of medical documents is essential to minimize incomplete claims and prevent Pending claim status. It is recommended to strengthen coordination among coding staff, physicians, and verifiers to improve claim accuracy, as well as to implement double-check procedures for coding before claim submission. In addition, continuous training programs and routine internal audits are necessary to identify and address the causes of claim discrepancies.

Abstract

Background: The completeness of BPJS Kesehatan outpatient claims is essential for hospital claims management under the National Health Insurance (JKN) Program. Incomplete administrative requirements, diagnosis and procedure codes, and medical documentation may contribute to pending claims and delayed reimbursement. This study aimed to describe the completeness of BPJS Kesehatan outpatient claims at RSD Idaman Banjarbaru based on these components. Methods: This quantitative study used a retrospective descriptive design at the JKN Unit of RSD Idaman Banjarbaru from July to September 2025. The population consisted of 386 pending outpatient claim files, with 196 selected using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured checklist and analyzed using univariate analysis, presented as frequencies and percentages. Patient confidentiality and anonymity were maintained. Results: Of 196 pending claim files, 167 (85.2%) had complete administrative requirements and 29 (14.8%) were incomplete. Complete diagnosis and procedure codes were found in 71 files (36.2%), while 125 (63.8%) were incomplete. Complete medical documentation was found in 176 files (89.8%), while 20 (10.2%) were incomplete. Common deficiencies included missing control and referral letters, incomplete diagnosis and procedure codes, and incomplete supporting medical documentation. Conclusion: Claim completeness differed across components. Incomplete diagnosis and procedure codes were the most frequent deficiency, followed by administrative requirements and medical documentation. Improving claim document completeness is important to support effective hospital claims management.
