Abstract

Penguatan nilai karater tidak hanya berkaitan dengan kesopanan dan kesantunan berperilaku tetapi juga bisa dikaitkan dengan kesadaran dan kepatuhan perpajakan. Kesadaran pajak sampai saat ini masih tergolong rendah sehingga berimbas pada rendahnya kepatuhan pajak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan inklusi kesadaran pajak dalam pembelajaran MPK Bahasa Indonesia sebagai penguatan karakter nasionalis sehingga mahasiswa memiliki sikap positif terhadap bahasa Indonesia dan  kesadaran pajak sebagai wujud penunjang karakter nasionalis (cinta tanah air). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa rombel MPK Undiksha sebanyak 130 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi dengan instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masih ada mahasiswa yang belum memiliki pengetahuan tentang definisi pajak; wajib pajak; dampak tidak membayar pajak; sanksi dan manfaat pajak sehingga berimbas pada kesadaran pajak. Penelitian inklusi kesadaran pajak ini dapat menguatkan karakter nasionalis mahasiswa, yaitu memupuk kesadaran pajak dan sikap positif sebagai penutur bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa inklusi kesadaran pajak dalam pembelajaran MPK di perguruan tinggi, penting dan harus dilanjutkan sehingga dapat memberikan penguatan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa.

Abstract

This study aims at (1) to find out whether the empowerment of discussion method with public controversy text can improve critical thinking skill in teaching reading and (2) to find out the steps of the empowerment of discussion method with public controversy text to improve critical thinking skill in teaching reading of class X students of SMA Saraswati Singaraja. This research is a Classroom Action-Based Research. The subjects in this study were students of class X.1 SMA Saraswati Singaraja, while the object of this study was the ability to think critically. Data collection methods used were observation and test methods. Before the two cycles were carried out, first the initial test activities were carried out. This pre-test activity aims to determine the initial value of critical thinking skills in reading learning for class X.1 SMA Saraswati Singaraja. The results showed that the empowerment of the discussion method with the use of public controversy texts could improve critical thinking skills in reading learning of students in class X.1 SMA Saraswati Singaraja. Learning is carried out through steps, namely 17 effective learning steps so that they can achieve the learning objectives.

Abstract

Text of I Durma Anak Lara is a written text held by Balinese people. The text conveys life philosophy how to behave in the community especially in social behavior. The text is figured by I Durma as the main figure and his father as the supporting figure. This text is viewed to be very interesting to explore since there is deep moral value embed. In addition, the research also aimed to preserve the existence of the text in the community especially for the youth. The moral value is realized in behavioral process. Because of those reason, this research explored how behavioral process works in the text. The theory used to solve the problem is the theory of transitivity as part of Systemic Functional Linguistics proposed by Halliday (2014). The research used was qualitative research because this research focused on social phenomenon and the theory was used as analyze the problem. The data were taken from Balinese text written by Suwija, et.al (2019). The technique used to collect the data was syntagmatic and paradigmatic. The result of the research indicated that the text has very deep moral value that must be applied in community. The moral values were described with clauses applying behavioral process. The behaviors were performed with verbs related to physical motions which influence psychology aspects. The word lara ‘difficult’ cannot be translated from the lexicon, but it is interpreted as the success can be obtained through the difficult efforts which must be done consciously and seriously.

Abstract

Pengetahuan perpajakan masyarakat masih tergolong rendah sehingga berimbas pada kesadaran dan kepatuhan pajak. Rendahnya kesadaran pajak disebabkan oleh rendahnya tingkat literasi perpajakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan literasi perpajakan melalui MPK Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa rombel MPK Undiksha sebanyak 196 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Selanjutnya, dilakukan triangulasi data, peneliti, metode, dan teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan perpajakan mahasiswa sebagai calon wajib pajak meningkat setelah diberikan penguatan literasi perpajakan melalui MPK bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penguatan literasi perpajakan dalam pembelajaran MPK di perguruan tinggi harus dilanjutkan sehingga dapat menguatkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. Kesadaran pajak perlu diangkat untuk diajarkan kepada generasi muda. Dengan demikian, edukasi perpajakan melalui literasi perpajakan memang sangat penting diberikan kepada peserta didik sebagai wujud pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) jenis kalimat yang digunakan untuk membangun karangan narasi dan (2) kualitas karangan narasi ditinjau dari pemakaian jenis dan fungsi kalimat pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) jenis kalimat yang digunakan oleh siswa dalam karangan narasi lebih didominasi oleh kalimat tunggal, yaitu sebanyak 208 kalimat. (2) Kualitas karangan narasi siswa kelas X6 dan X7 di SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar ditinjau dari pemakaian jenis dan fungsi kalimat tergolong dalam kategori baik, yaitu sebesar 82,21. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas karangan narasi siswa tergolong dalam kategori baik. Hal itu terlihat pada jenis kalimat yang digunakan oleh siswa dalam membentuk karangan narasi. This quantitative descriptive study aimed to describe (1) the type of sentences that are used to construct a narrative essay and (2) narrative essay quality in terms of the using types and function of sentences on class X SMAN 7 Denpasar. The data collection method used is the test method. The results showed that (1) The type of sentences used by students in a narrative essay is dominated by a simple sentence, as many as 208 words. (2) The quality of the narrative essay in terms of the using type and function of the sentence within a good category, with score 82.21. Based on the results of research and discussion, we can conclude that the quality of the narrative essay students classified in good category. It was seen on the type of sentence that is used by students in the form of narrative essay.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) sikap siswa kelas XII terhadap pembelajaran Sastra Indonesia di SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati, (2) faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa kelas XII terhadap pembelajaran Sastra Indonesia di SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru untuk menumbuhkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran Sastra Indonesia siswa kelas XII di SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) upaya guru dalam meningkatkan sikap siswa, yaitu menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan strategi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. (2) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa pada pembelajaran Sastra Indonesia, yaitu faktor fisiologis, psikologis, faktor sosial, yaitu lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan masyarakat, dan lingkungan di dalam keluarga. (3) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru, yaitu menerapkan metode pembelajaran karena situasi tidak kondusif, alokasi waktu, dan mengevaluasi sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran sastra. Guru mengalami berbagai kendala saat meningkatkan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran sastra. Untuk itu, disarankan kepada guru bahasa Indonesia agar lebih meningkatkan upaya dan cara mengajar, baik dari penerapan suatu metode pembelajaran maupun strategi-strategi yang digunakan dalam proses belajar-mengajar.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) perencanaan pembelajaran menulis melalui metode reseptif produktif berbantuan media teks bermuatan nilai humanisme, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis melalui metode reseptif produktif berbantuan media teks bermuatan nilai humanisme, dan (3) evaluasi pembelajaran menulis melalui metode reseptif produktif berbantuan media teks bermuatan nilai humanisme pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Ada beberapa langkah dalam menganalisis data, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh guru sudah sesuai dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan kebutuhan siswa dalam memperoleh pengetahuan saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Hanya saja dalam tujuan pembelajaran tidak dibedakan waktu pertemuan. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis sudah dilaksanakan oleh guru dengan baik, baik dalam pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, maupun penutup, (3) Evaluasi terhadap pembelajaran terdiri atas evaluasi proses, sikap, dan hasil pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi telah dilakukan oleh guru dengan baik sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Abstract This research was compiled using a qualitative descriptive design that aims to describe (1) planning for learning to write through productive receptive methods assisted by text media with humanistic values, (2) implementing writing learning through productive receptive methods assisted by text media with humanist values, and (3) evaluation of writing learning through productive receptive methods assisted by text media with humanistic values ​​in class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati. The subjects of this study were Indonesian language teachers who taught in class X SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati. The data collection method used is the method of observation and documentation. There are several steps in analyzing data, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) the lesson planning made by the teacher was in accordance with the implementation of learning and the students' needs in obtaining knowledge during the learning process. It's just that the learning objectives do not differentiate between meeting times. (2) The teacher has implemented writing learning well, both in the introduction, core activities, and in the closing, (3) Evaluation of learning consists of evaluating the process, attitudes, and learning outcomes. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that planning, implementation, and evaluation have been carried out by the teacher so that the learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

This research investigates the references which are realized by signs within the Masako package. The scope of this research is language in function, which is presented in both verbal and non-verbal languages. The theory used for this research is Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), which is supported with the theory of semiotic for non-verbal language. The research implies qualitative research, and phenomenology. The data were taken from Masako package. The verbal language such as clauses are analyzed with theory of SFL proposed by Halliday, while nonverbal language such as; colours, pictures, photos are analysed with semiotic proposed by Peirce. The research results indicate that the Massako package hires nonverbal and verbal languages. The yellow colour indicates that Masako is very suitable for cooked food. The red indicates that the spice contains chilly, which is not good for baby food. The green indicates that the spice is very good with fresh meat and vegetables. The ideologies of Masako are; (i) the company of Masako wants to share the market with some segmentation by providing several taste and different weight in the packages, (ii) the company want to dominate the market by showing “Halal” so most of Indonesian communities are not in doubt about the material. This research is significant for semiotics, discourse analysis, and language teaching. This research is expected to be very useful for communities and to stimulate other researchers to do similar research.

Abstract

Balinese ancestors cared very much to the generation to achieve harmony in social communities so the Balinese ancestors always embedded moral value through many kinds og genre. One of Balinese genres that is used to embed moral values is Balinese Narrative text entitled “I Pucung”. The text contains semiotic so this research would like to explore the ideology of text “I Pucung”. This is qualitative research, phenomenology. The data were taken from clauses of the text “I Pucung” from Satua-Satua Bali. The Theory used for this research is Systemic Functional Linguistics. The technique used in this research is comprehending the text carefully based on social context which is held by Balinese communities. The result of this research shows the text is associated with Sad Ripu ‘six bad traits owned by human’, namely; greedy, overbearing, confused, jealous, lust, and angry. Those traits make human life destroyed. This text teaches us how to avoid behaving Sad Ripu in communities. In contrast, performing good traits in communities leads us to get harmony. This research brings positive impacts for semiotics, discourse analysis, teaching. This research is expected to be able to stimulate other linguistic researchers to explore ideology for other Balinese text
