Abstract

The hospital is a health facility that can provide health services to the community and is very important in the process of improvement. Health services which are the main part in hospitals and health units. With good service, hospitals are expected to have competitive advantage with quality and efficient services. A good nurse performance is a guarantee of the quality of health services provided to both sick and healthy patients. In improving the quality of health services improving nurse performance must be high. This study aims to determine the quality of nurses' services in the surgical medical room at the Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2020. This researcher uses a descriptive study design which is the result of a questionnaire sheet. The population in the study was all nurses in the surgical medical room of the Santa Elisabeth Hospital in Medan with a sample of 30 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Respondents can provide a response to the quality of nurse care in the medical room of the Santa Elisabeth Hospital on five dimensions, namely Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Emphaty. The results of this study indicate that the quality of nurse services from five dimensions shows the majority of nurses have a good responsiveness of 30 people (100%), good Assurance of 30 people (100%), Emphaty for 30 people (100%), good Tangibility of 29 people ( 96.7%), and Reliability as many as 29 people (96.7%). So that researchers can conclude that the quality of nursing services in the medical room of the Santa Elisabet Hospital in Medan in 2020 is good. It is expected that nurses are able to maintain or improve the quality of nurse services well

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Mahasiswa tingkat akhir menghadapi tugas dan hambatan yang berbeda setiap semesternya. Tugas akhir dalam penyusunan skripsi yang dialami mahasiswa menjadi suatu beban yang cukup menyita energi, waktu yang memicu mahasiswa menjadi individu yang tertekan dimana dapat menimbulkan stres. Stres yang tidak bisa dikelola dengan baik mengakibatkan dampak yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan mental dan fisik mahasiswa. Salah satu cara yang mudah dijangkau dengan melakukan senam yoga. Senam yoga merupakan latihan fisik yang mampu memberikan efek positif terhadap kesehatan dan dapat mengurangi stres. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam yoga terhadap penurunan tingkat stres pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam menyusun skripsi. Metodologi: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan one-group pre-post test design. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 113 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah nonprobability sampling dengan simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 32 responden. Analisa data dengan uji Wilcoxon sign rank test. Hasil: dari hasil uji stastistik dengan Wilcoxon sign rank test diperoleh p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh senam yoga terhadap penurunan tingkat stres pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam menyusun skripsi. Diskusi: Senam yoga dapat meningkatkan aktifitas parasimpatis serta meningkatkan GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid). Dalam kondisi tubuh dan pikiran yang rileks atau meditatif dapat mengurangi emosi negatif, mengurangi ketegangan, serta meningkatkan ketenangan pada individu sehingga dapat mengurangi kecemasan yang dialami. Kata Kunci: Senam Yoga, Tingkat Stres, Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir

Abstract

Introduction The level of knowledge about hypertension in the elderly plays a very important role in the life of the elderly, this is because the elderly who experience a lack of knowledge will find it difficult to prevent hypertension. This study aims to see an overview of the level of knowledge about hypertension in the elderly in the working area of the Gunung Tinggi Health Center in 2023. Method research used is descriptive research. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample of 75 respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing 25 question items about the level of hypertension knowledge. Results research obtained: shows that the Level of Knowledge About Hypertension in the Elderly in the Working Area of the Gunung Tinggi Health Center in 2023 is good (46.7%). Conclusion explained It is hoped that the elderly will continue to maintain their health and maintain their level of knowledge so that the hypertension rate is decreasing and it is hoped that the health workers of the Gunung Tinggi Health Center will pay more attention to the elderly in Gunung Tinggi.

Abstract

Satisfaction is an indicator used in determining the standard of a health facility. The quality of a service is closely related to customer satisfaction, this happens because service quality can create a good relationship between consumers and an agency, in the long run this relationship can make agencies understand how to meet consumer needs. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of satisfaction with BPJS patients' health services at Primary clinics in 2023. This research is descriptive in nature, with a cross-sectional design. The research population is unknown where a sample of 45 people, and taken based on purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out directly to respondents using interview techniques. The results showed that the satisfaction level of Primary clinic users was very satisfied by 62.2%, satisfied by 20.0% while quite satisfied by 2.2% was dissatisfied15.6 It is hoped that the Primary clinic can further improve the quality of service quality by providing enough doctor time and nurses serving patients.

Abstract

The prevalence of nosocomial infections worldwide has become a serious concern for healthcare professionals, especially in hospitals. One contributing factor is the inadequate implementation of the five moments hand hygiene in handwashing procedures that do not conform to operational procedure standards. The aim of this research is to determine how the implementation of the five moments hand hygiene among nurses in the surgical medical care ward at Santa Elisabeth Hospital in Medan. This study utilized a descriptive cross-sectional approach, employing observation sheets. The sample size included 30 nurses in the Surgical Medical Care Ward at Santa Elisabeth Hospital in Medan, using total sampling technique. The measurement tool was an observation sheet, and the data analysis employed univariate analysis. The research findings revealed that, in the first moment before patient contact, 56.7% of nurses did not adhere to the practice, while 43.3% did. In the second moment, before aseptic procedures, 56.7% of nurses did not comply, and 43.3% did. In the third moment, after exposure to patient body fluids, all nurses (100%) adhered to the practice. In the fourth moment, after patient contact, all nurses (100%) complied. In the fifth moment, after contact with the patient's environment, all nurses (100%) followed the practice. It is hoped that nurses can consistently implement the five moments hand hygiene to prevent disease transmission and nosocomial infections, fostering a habit of incorporating these practices into nosocomial infection prevention.

Abstract

Parents knowledge about first aid for febrile convulsions in children can be seen from the actions taken by parents when their children have febrile convulsions. The first aid action taken by parents is an understanding of the help of febrile seizures in children. Extracranial processes and too rapid an increase in body temperature cause febrile seizures. If a person's body temperature rises and is not controlled quickly, this can lead to febrile seizures. Febrile convulsions are rapid, transient, or sudden changes in brain function with a rise in body temperature > 38°C. This study aims to describe parents' knowledge about first aid for febrile seizures. The method uses is descriptive method with the number of samples of this study 67 respondents. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires. The results of this study show that parental knowledge in the good knowledge category are 24 respondents (37.70%), sufficient knowledge are 33 respondents (47.54%) and poor knowledge are 10 respondents (14.75%). This study conclud that the knowledge of parents about first aid for febrile seizures in children was in the moderate category. Parents state that parents always measure their children's body temperature using a thermometer when they have a fever and always accompany their children when they have febrile seizures. The results of this study are expected to provide information to health workers and provide information to parents regarding first aid for febrile seizures in children to help and teach parents to perform good and correct febrile seizures.

Abstract

Response Time merupakan kecepatan dalam penanganan pasien oleh perawat ≤5 menit saat tibanya pasien di unit pelayanan kesehatan. Response Time dengan penanganan kecepatan yang sudah berstandar dapat menjadi proses pelayanan yang baik di IGD sehingga pasien dapat merasakan kepuasan dari pelayanan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Response Time Perawat dengan Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien BPJS di Instalasi Gawat Darurat Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan. Desain penelitian menggunakan rancangan survey analitik dengan metode cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel pasien BPJS yang berobat di IGD Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan sebanyak 87 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi Response Time Perawat dan lembar kuesioner Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien. Response Time perawat sebanyak 82,8% “tepat” yaitu ≤5 menit dan Tingkat Kepuasan pasien BPJS sebanyak 75,9%  “puas”. Hasil uji Fisher’s Exact didapatkan p=0,007 (p<0,05), menunjukkan ada hubungan Response Time Perawat dengan Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien BPJS di Ruangan IGD Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan Tahun 2018. Diharapkan agar Response Time perawat tetap ditingkatkan dalam melakukan tindakan pelayanan dan memodifikasi ruangan yang ada sebagai ruang tunggu keluarga di ruangan IGD untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan Rumah Sakit, sehingga tingkat kepuasan pasien lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Good nurse performance is a guarantee of the quality of health services provided to patients, both sick and healthy. This study aims to determine the service quality of nurses in the medical-surgical room at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2020. The design of this research is descriptive. The sample in the study amounted to 30 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed univariately. The results of the study obtained that the quality of nurse service from five dimensions showed that the majority of nurses had responsiveness, assurance, empathy in each good category, 30 people (100%), and reliability, tangibility in each good category as many as 29 people (96.7%). Nurses are expected to be able to maintain and improve the quality of nursing services well. Keywords: Quality of Nurse Services ABSTRAK Kinerja perawat yang baik merupakan jaminan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan kepada pasien baik yang sakit maupun sehat. Dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan kinerja seorang perawat haruslah tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan perawat di ruang medikal bedah Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan Tahun 2020. Rancangan penelitian deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kualitas pelayanan perawat dari lima dimensi menujukkan mayoritas perawat memiliki responsiveness, assurance, emphaty masing-masing kategori baik 30 orang (100%), dan reliability, tangibility masing-masing kategori baik sebanyak 29 orang (96,7%). Diharapkan perawat mampu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan perawat dengan baik. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Pelayanan Perawat

Abstract

Introduction: The aging process experienced by the elderly will cause a decrease in normal psychological, biological, spiritual, social and economic functions.The most common psychological problem in the elderly is the feeling of loneliness. Loneliness is a person's psychological state of the situation being faced, where a person always feels unnotified by the people around him and tends to be alone and never satisfied with what has been given by his surroundings. One way to overcome feelings of loneliness in the elderly is to provide socialization group activity therapy (TAKS). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of socialization group activity therapy (TAKS) on reducing loneliness in the elderly at UPT social services for the elderlysocial services Binjai, North Sumatra Province in 2021.Methods : This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pre-post test design. The number of samples is 20 people with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis using the paired t-test.Results: The results of the study showed that 85% and severe feelings of loneliness in the elderly were 85% before receiving socialization group activity therapy (TAKS) and 10% mild loneliness in the elderly after receiving socialization group activity therapy (TAKS). The paired t-test result was 0.001 (p-value <0.05)Conclution : indicating that there was an effect of socialization group activity therapy on reducing loneliness in the elderly at the UPT for elderly social services, Binjai social service, North Sumatra province.

Abstract

Response Time (waktu tanggap) adalah suatu standar pelayanan yang harus dimiliki oleh Instalasi Gawat Darurat. Respon time yang baik bagi pasien yaitu ≤5 menit (Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia, 2009,dalam Sinurat Samfriati,dkk,2019), Kecemasan adalah rasa takut yang tidak jelas disertai dengan perasaan ketidakpastian, ketidakberdayaan, isolasi, dan ketidakamanan. Kecemasan adalah keadaan emosi tanpa objek tertentu. Hal ini dipicu oleh hal yang tidak diketahui dan menyertai semua pengalaman baru (Stuart, 2016). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon time perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan keluarga pasien dalam penanganan di instalasi gawat darurat rumah sakit santa elisabeth batam kota tahun 2022.
