Abstract

The purpose of Education in Indonesia is to develop students' abilities in various aspects, both in the areas of cognitive ability and religious ability. One of the efforts to fulfil that goal is by integrating general science with religious knowledge. An example of this Integration is to associate mathematics with the Quran. The reason behind this integration is that the contents of the Qur'an cover many of the symbols of numbers and meanings that are also part of mathematics. This integration is also applied to educational institutions in Indonesia. It's just a bit of research done to integrate mathematics education with the Quran to improve students' ability in Indonesia as well as in Aceh, especially Aceh Tamiang who have never done the research. Related to existing literature gaps so this study was conducted to analyze how the integration of the Qur'an on mathematics subjects on students' ability in MTs Aceh Tamiang. This type of research uses quantitative research with an experimental approach, its design research uses a One-shot case study design, the instrument uses a test. The results show that the application of the Qur'an in mathematics subjects at MTs Aceh Tamiang is said to be good because students are above average. It is therefore advisable for other schools to apply the Qur'an in mathematics subjects.

Abstract

Realistic mathematics learning is a teaching approach that starts from "real" things for students. Fraction problems are often found in daily life and are felt difficult by most students in SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa so that student learning outcomes are still relatively low. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the use of Realistic Mathematics Learning can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of Semester II SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and the type of research is classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. The research subjects are grade IV students of SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa, amounting to 33 students. Data analysis used a comparative descriptive analysis technique by comparing conditions in cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of research at the end of the second cycle it is known that there has been an increase in the class average of 29.16% from an average ofthe first cycle test of only 58.18 up to 75.15. Then completeness of student learning also increased by 87.50% from the first cycle that has been completed only 16 students to 30 students. So that most of the fourth-grade students of SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa experienced an increase in learning outcomes in fractional material. Thus it can be concluded that the use of realistic mathematics learning in fraction material can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of the second semester of SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the students' mathematical understanding of the concepts before and after the use of the Dakota defense equipment and whether the Dakota defense apparatus affects the students' understanding of the mathematical concepts in MIS.Research of the quasi-experiment of the kind of Nonequivalent Control Group Design.In this study the sample used was a class IV A as an experimental group and a class IV as a control group with 15 students each. The sample was taken using a Simple Random Sampling technique with a method of drawing. Data were analyzed using percentages and T test, namely SPSS. The results showed that student’s understanding of mathematical concepts before and after using the Dakota teaching aids was increasing, this was evidenced by the percentage of understanding mathematical concepts before using the teaching aids was 34,33%, while after using the Dakota teaching aids the percentage of understanding mathematical concepts wa 80,6%. As for the t-test, it was 4,267 with a sig (2-tailed) of 0,000. Since sig got a < 0.05 so significantly then we can assume Ha accepted that there is an influence of Dakota's defense on the student's understanding of the mathematical concept at MIS Integrated Langsa

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan matematika adalah terjadinya perubahan sikap dan tingkah laku siswa yang mencakup terbentuknya pribadi yang bermoral dan memiliki kemampuan berfikir matematis yang berpijak pada pemikiran yang logis dan sistematis. Berdasarkan tujuan pendiidkan matematika diharapkan siswa mengalami perubahan dari bidang akademik dan non akademik seperti moral siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran matematika yang direlevansikan dengan Al-Quran pada materi pecahan dan nilai-nilai karakter apa saja yang muncul dari penerapan pembelajaran matematika berbasis Al-Quran pada materi pecahan. Adapun metodologi penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII MTsN Aceh Tamiang. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu penerapan pembelajaran matematika pada materi pecahan direlevansikan dengan ayat-ayat Al-Quran tentang warisan, pada surat An Nisa ayat 11, 12 dan 176, serta QS Al-Baqarah ayat 267 tentang zakat. Nilai-nilai karakter yang muncul pada penerapan pembelajaran matematika yang direlevansikan dengan pecahan yaitu tanggung jawab, adil dan peduli sosial.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of using the Heyzine application in teaching circular equations to 11th-grade students in senior high school. The research method employed the Four-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) development model developed by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel. Data collection involved documentation and questionnaires, while data analysis used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the e-module for mathematics instruction was deemed highly valid by experts and practitioners. The validity percentages of the e-module were as follows: 82.5% for subject matter experts with the criteria "very valid," 89% for media experts with the criteria "very valid," 85% for language experts with the criteria "very valid," and 82.75% for practitioners with the criteria "very valid." Thus, the overall validity averaged 84.81% with the criteria "very valid." The mathematics e-module on circular equations was also evaluated to meet usability aspects. Student responses to the e-module's usability across 13 assessment aspects averaged 87.53%, indicating that the e-module fulfilled usability requirements in practice. The use of the Heyzine application in teaching circular equations was proven effective, as there was an increase in student learning interest after using the module. The increase in student interest in learning mathematics reached 37.679%. Therefore, this e-module can be considered an effective alternative for improving the teaching of circular equations to 11th-grade students in senior high school. Keywords: E-Module, Heyzine
