Abstract

Abstract

Plans to boycott American products must take into account the national economy. American products help drive economic growth, because Indonesia's population and management of natural resources depend on American products. Boycott actions suppress economic growth by reducing demand and increasing unemployment. Moreover, on the one hand, this step will have no effect because economic relations between Indonesia and the United States are legalized by regional and international trade organizations. The method used to analyze is a qualitative method.

Abstract

STMIK Mardira Indonesia now employs a basic system, Microsoft Excel, to manage staff salaries. However, this system needs more integration with a database for storage purposes. Administrators are concerned about the potential risks associated with manually storing data, including a high likelihood of data loss and other issues, such as miscalculations due to incomplete data entry. Furthermore, the lack of a program to compute Income Tax Article 21 (PPH 21), essential information employees require to comprehend the deductions applied to their earned income, is apparent. This study aims to develop a web-based application for calculating employee payroll, explicitly focusing on PPH 21 calculations. The research methodology utilized in this concluding project is descriptive. The system development method employs the Waterfall approach, incorporating Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) for the analysis and design of the proposed system. The system design utilizes a web programming language, specifically the CodeIgniter framework, in conjunction with a MySQL database. The research findings indicate that a web-based employee payroll system using the PPH 21 calculation program has been effectively constructed. This technology is available to employees, making it easier to administer payroll and providing employees with information on the amount of PPH 21 deductions. Suggestions for advancing the web-based employee payroll system, including the PPH 21 calculation tool, involve streamlining the system to improve efficiency.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between personal family conditions and job satisfaction, as family conditions are a significant factor influencing employee productivity and work-life balance. The research focuses on tax auditors at the Primary Tax Office in Pangkalan Kerinci, who exhibit diverse demographic profiles, including age, family status, and number of children. Using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ-13), the study examines four dimensions of job satisfaction: work environment, work-life balance, social relationships, and job achievement. Employing a quantitative survey method, the study sampled all 10 tax auditors through total sampling. Data analysis included validity and reliability testing and correlation analysis. The findings revealed that the MSQ-13 instrument is valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.812. Work environment, work-life balance, and positive social relationships significantly influence job satisfaction, while employees separated from their families face challenges in maintaining work-life balance. Positive workplace relationships enhance satisfaction, but conflicts within teams reduce motivation. Ultimately, a supportive work environment, balanced work-life conditions, and strong social relationships are key factors driving job satisfaction and productivit.

Abstract

Attendance is a critical metric in assessing internship participants, impacting their total evaluation during the internship duration. A state-owned firm presently employs a manual attendance system utilizing a logbook, susceptible to recording inaccuracies and data tampering. This study seeks to develop a web-based attendance system that employs geolocation techniques, enabling interns to check in without completing a logbook. This system uses the Haversine model to compute a maximum distance of 500 meters from a specified work site to guarantee the precision of attendance data. This research also examines absence resulting from illness or authorized leave. Rapid Application Development (RAD), utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system design, is the methodology employed in creating this attendance system. The system is coded utilizing the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. This research culminates in developing a web-based attendance system that allows interns to check in at their work sites efficiently and correctly, thereby diminishing reliance on the manual logbook system. This research entails improved precision in attendance documentation, heightened efficiency in overseeing intern assessments, and augmented accountability among interns. By applying this method, the state-owned firm can more effectively evaluate intern performance and make informed decisions concerning its organizational development and contributions.
