Abstract

We conducted a research about communication skill of secondary biology student in Arthropode classification using phenetic method. Data were obtained from written report and oral presentation. There were five indicators used to analyze communication skill in oral presentation, which included their ability to express opinion themselves and hearing the opinion from other, their ability to master the concept to be presented, their ability to communicate of results systematically and clearly, their ability to question, and their ability to answer. Five indicators used in written report were their ability to choose informative character to build fenogram, their ability to undergo step by step, resulted phenogram, their ability to interpret the results, and their ability to make a report. Results showed that communication skill in oral were good enough (63.75%), but low (56.25%) in written. Based on interview, however, students felt comfortable when teacher used the phenetic method to understand classification of Arthropode. This method has markedly stimulated the students to study actively in the classroom.Keywords: arthropode, communication skill, classification, phenetic method,

Abstract

This research is intended to acknowledge the position of ijarah agreement that used in Umrah bailouts fund specifically Umrah financing at Sharia Mandiri Bank Head Office Jakarta. Additionally, to acknowledge how the implementation of the Umrah financing products when paired with ijarah agreement. The method used is qualitative by means of analytical descriptive methods. This study defined primary and secondary data that obtained from the descriptive research location. Wherewith collecting the primary or secondary data that obtained in the form of interview results of Sharia Mandiri Bank, documentation and also literature study related to this study. The results of this study displayed that this Umrah financing products are right when paired with ijarah agreement. All scholars also allow the validity of this ijarah agreement in muamalah. This ijarah agreement also had the strong foundation of the three basic Islamic law, the Qur?an, the Hadith and Ijma. Furthermore, this results of this also elaborated how the implementation of Umrah financing scheme and did not encounter any problems that may cause ijarah agreement to be void, because of this product is based on Fatwa of National Sharia Council No. 09/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 in respects of ijarah financing, and No. 44/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004 multi-service financing.

Abstract

Background: Labor and birth are physiological events and normal. Delivery is said to be normal if the process is full term (37-42 weeks) without any complications. Birth ball is a technique to help progress labor that can be used during the first stage of labour. Until now, not much is known and not familiar with birth balls, even though birth balls are very effective in speeding up the delivery process. The advantage of using this birth ball is that it increases blood flow to the uterus, placenta and baby, relieves pressure and can increase the output of the pelvis by as much as 30%, provides comfort for the knees and ankles, provides counter-pressure on the perineum and erect thighs. Objective: To determine the average duration of the first stage of labor in primigravidas using a birth ball and without using a birth ball and to determine the effect of a birthing ball on the duration of the first stage of labor in primigravidas Methodology: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a Randomized Two-Group, Posttest only design. Held at the Barokah Main Clinic in Bandung City. The time of the research was carried out from June to July 2021. The research sample was primigravida in the first stage of the birth of 30 respondents with data analysis using the Mann Whitney test and independent sample t-test. Results: Based on the results of the study using the Mann Whitney test and the independent t-test, the p value <0.05 was obtained. Conclusion: There is a difference in the average duration of the first stage of labor in primigravidas using a birth ball and without using a birth ball. It is expected that women in labor can know the function of the birth ball so that they can maximize the use of the birth ball in the delivery process.
