Abstract

Background: The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia is 70%, or 7 out of 10 pregnant women suffer from anemia. The low adherence of pregnant women in taking iron supplements is one of the reasons the prevalence rate of anemia is still high. Purpose: To determine the factors related to compliance with consumption of Fe tablets in pregnant women in the work area of ​​the Pasir Jaya Health Center, Tangerang Regency in 2022 Methods: The research design used is descriptive correlation. This research uses the Cross Sectional method. The number of samples or respondents is 77 respondents with the Simple Random Sampling technique. Result: The results of the study showed that of the 77 respondents used as the research sample, the results obtained were that 27 respondents had non-compliant compliance criteria with a percentage of 35.1%, and 50 respondents had compliance criteria with a percentage of 64.9%. There is a relationship between knowledge and non-compliance with the sig value. of 0.046, there is a relationship between perception and compliance with the sig value. of 0.018, there is a relationship between family/husband support and compliance with the sig. of 0.016, and there is no relationship between the support of health workers and adherence to the sig. of 0.836. Conclusions: It is recommended that pregnant women adhere to consuming iron tablets during pregnancy and know the consequences if they are not consumed properly. Iron tablets that have been given by health workers.

Abstract

Background: There was still a lot of anemia in adolescent girls, which is suspected to be 64% of adolescent girls experiencing anemia related to knowledge about anemia, diet, and activities of adolescent girls at SMK BINA AM MAKMUR in Tangerang Regency. Purpose: To determine the factors related to anemia in adolescents at SMK BINA AM MAKMUR in Tangerang Regency in 2022. Methods: This research design used quantitative methods, non-experimental approaches, and cross-sectional approaches. The study sample amounted to 62 adolescents. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research instrument consisted of questionnaires on anemia, knowledge, diet, and activity. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and kai squared with chi-square formulation to determine the relationship between knowledge, diet, and activity and the incidence of anemia in adolescents. Result: Of the 62 adolescent girls, 48 (77.4%) had anemia. There was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.000), diet (p value = 0.007), and activity (p value = 0.004) with the incidence of anemia in adolescents at SMK BINA AM MAKMUR, Tangerang Regency, Banten in 2022. Conclusions: The incidence of anemia in adolescents at SMK BINA AM MAKMUR Tangerang Regency in 2022 is quite high at 77.4%. It is expected that there will be strengthened coordination with all sectors, especially with the Tangerang Regency Health Office regarding the program for handling anemia in adolescents.

Abstract

Background: Severe pain during labor can cause fatigue in the mother so that there is a risk of prolonged labor which can endanger the mother and fetus. Panongan Community Health Center, Tangerang Regency, Banten in January-March 2022 there were 142 deliveries, 11 mothers (7.8%) of whom delivered SC at the mother's request because they could not stand the pain of labor. Purpose: To determine the differences in labor pain in the first stage of labor for mothers who were given lavender aromatherapy and lemon aromatherapy at the Panongan Health Center, Tangerang Regency, in 2022. Methods: Quasy experimental design study with two group pre-post test design. The sample in this study was 30 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and Independent T-Test which were previously tested for normality and homogeneity. Results: Pain in the first stage of labor in women giving birth before giving lavender aromatherapy averaged 6.00 and after being given lavender aromatherapy an average of 3.20 with an average difference of 2.80. Pain in the first stage of labor in women giving birth before giving lemon aromatherapy averaged 6.47 and after being given lemon aromatherapy averaged 1.73 with an average difference of 4.74. The results of bivariate analysis with paired sample t-test giving lavender aromatherapy a value of 0.000 and lemon aromatherapy a p value of 0.000. Independent T-Test results posttest p value 0.002. Conclusion: there are differences between lavender aromatherapy and lemon aromatherapy on first stage labor pain among mothers. It is hoped that giving lemon and lavender aromatherapy can be applied thoroughly in Indonesian health services.

Abstract

Background: One of the government's programs in family planning is the improvement of family planning services with long term contraception, but this was still hampered due to the high use of non-longterm contraception in Indonesia. Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, especially in Banten, it also shows that there is still a high use of non- long term contraception compared to long term contraception. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between age, occupation, knowledge, information on family planning services, husband support, culture, and attitudes of FAC women with the use of longterm contraception. Purpose: This study aims to determine factors related with long-term contraceptive use on Mekarbakti Panongan sub-district, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, in 2022. Methods: The method used an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all acceptors recorded in the family planning register located in the working area of Mekarbakti Panongan Village, Tangerang, who use long term contraception and those who do not use long term contraception, which is 1,984 acceptors. Sampling using accidental sampling, where 96 samples were obtained. Results: Chi-square test results (0.05) for age sig-p value 0.050, work sig-p value 0.892, knowledge sig-p value 0.000, information by health workers sig-p value 0.014, husband support sig-p value 0.038, culture sig-p value 0.005, and attitude sig-p value 0.062. Conclusion: In this study, there was an influence of age, knowledge, information provided by health workers, husband support, and culture on the selection of long term contraception, while occupational factors and attitudes did not have an influence on the selection of long term contraception.

Abstract

Background: Stunting according to the WHO (World Health Organization) in 2019 that the region in sothest Asia is still considered the highest with the incidence of stunting (31.9%), Indonesia is included in the sixth country. Risk factors for stunting that begin at conception, namely from maternal factors. Lack of health and nutrition knowledge from the start of pregnancy to childbirth can result in stunting in children, during pregnancy ANC, PNC, EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING, and MPASI. Objective: this study aims to determine the relationship between drinking water sources, latrine ownership, waste management, hygiene and exposure to pollutants with the risk of stunting in pregnant women in the working area of the Curugbitung Health Center, Lebak Regency, Banten. Methodology: Cross Seectional method research. The study sample amounted to 107 pregnant women. Purposive sampling technique. The research instrument using the questionnaire consisted of clean water use, latrine ownership, hygiene behavior, waste management and exposure to pollutants.this questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient value of 0.836. Research Results: there was a significant relationship between household water use (p = 0.000), latrine ownership (p = 0.30), waste management (p = 0.000), hygiene behavior (p = 0.001) and exposure to pollutants (p = 0.003) with stunting risk. Conclusions and suggestions: physical environment analysis factors have a significant relationship with the risk of stunting in pregnant women, so it is expected to increase the role of health workers to educate the public regarding the risk of stunting. Abstract

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that the prevalence of stunting is around 151 million, accounting for 22.2% of the world's children. Stunting increases the risk of disease and death in children, adversely affects cognitive and motoric development, decreases school achievement, increases the risk of overnutrition and non-communicable diseases, and decrease productivity in adulthood. One reason is the mother's lack of knowledge about nutrition and health before, during, and after pregnancy. Objective : This study aims to determine The Effect of Toddler Mother Class on Increasing Mother's Knowledge in Preventing Stunting. Methodology: This study is a quantitative quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. Pretest-posttest knowledge measurement was carried out to respondents before and after have given a class of mothers under five about stunting. The sample in this study amount 114 with the total sampling technique. Data analysis using the paired T test. Results: The results showed that The pretest had a mean knowledge value was 8.91 std. division 2,011, while in the posttest had a mean value was 10.80 std. division 1,242. The value of p-value was 0.000, there is a significant difference in The Effect of Toddler Mother Class on increasing knowledge about stunting prevention. Conclusions and Suggestions: The results of the study showed a significant Effect of Toddler Mother Class on increasing the knowledge of mothers under five about stunting prevention.

Abstract

Kinerja adalah penampilan hasil karya personil baik kuantitas maupun kualitas dalam suatu organisasi. Kinerja perawat berfungsi sebagai tolak ukur pelayanan kesehatan, maka perlu untuk mengkaji tentang kinerja guna mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Dan di Rumah Sakit biasanya yang mempengaruhi kinerja itu penjadwalan dinas, tingkat stres serta beban kerja yang diterima oleh perawat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penjadwalan dinas, tingkat stres dan beban kerja terhadap kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap RSU. UKI. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian desain kuantitaif dengan metode cross sectional dan dilaksanakan bulan oktober sampai november 2022. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang bekerja di ruang rawat inap dengan jumlah 82 perawat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tidak adanya pengaruh penjadwalan dinas terhadap kinerja (p = 0,074), tidak adanya pengaruh antara tingkat stres terhadap kinerja (p = 0,490) dan tidak adanya pengaruh antara beban kerja terhadap kinerja (p = 0,554). Maka untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat di lakukan penambahan variabel lain yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat.

Abstract

Giving Fe tablets is one of the important efforts and is an effective way to prevent and overcome anemia due to iron and folic acid deficiency. To know the factors that influence the compliance of third-trimester pregnant women in consuming Iron (Fe) Tablets at Pesanggrahan Health Center, South Jakarta City in 2024.  The research design used cross-sectional. The sample of this study was 78 respondents. The data collected were secondary data using a control card sheet for taking Iron (Fe) tablets in the respondent's Maternal and Child Health Book (MCH book) and primary data using a questionnaire Data analysis was univariate and bivariate. Data analysis used a chi-square test. Pregnant women who obediently consume Fe tablets are 49 respondents (62.8%). There was a significant relationship between the variables of knowledge, attitude, and family support with the compliance of pregnant women consuming Fe tablets. While the variable of side effects showed no significant relationship with the compliance of pregnant women to consume Fe tablets. Based on the Odd Ratio value, it was obtained that the Knowledge Variable more dominantly influenced the condition of pregnant women in consuming Iron Tablets.  It is expected that midwives can provide information about Fe tablets so that mothers are obedient in consuming Fe tablets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nutritional status of adolescent girls, focusing on the prevalence of anemia, malnutrition, and obesity, as well as the factors influencing them. Data used were derived from previous research conducted in various regions of Indonesia, including West Java and Depok, as well as a literature review from sources such as the 2021 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas). Additionally, this study examines the effectiveness of nutritional education interventions in improving adolescent knowledge and attitudes toward nutrition and anemia prevention. The results indicate that the prevalence of anemia among adolescent girls reaches 27.3% nationally and 30% in West Java. Nutritional education delivered through social media and interactive methods such as PAKEM (Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) has proven effective in increasing knowledge. These findings emphasize the importance of educational interventions and increased physical activity to address nutritional issues among adolescent girls.

Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in Indonesia can have a serious impact on the decline in the quality of Human Resources (HR). One of the problems of malnutrition is the high number of cases of stunting children under five, stunting can be said to be toddlers who experience chronic nutrition due to low nutritional intake, and the lack of knowledge of housewives in meeting the availability of nutrition in the family. This community service activity aims to provide education through health promotion to parents of PAUD children about stimulating healthy menu choices for PAUD children in preventing stunting. This activity was carried out at PAUD Melati in West Bandung, involving children, parents, and school stakeholders. Starting with the introduction of food ingredients, demonstration of making Moringa Leaf Pentol, education about nutrition to parents. The results of the activity showed that during the implementation, children showed high interest in making Moringa Leaf Pentol, especially when they saw interesting shapes and colors. Parents were also seen actively participating in the activities and giving full attention to the nutrition education provided.
