Abstract

This study show to prove the effect of the efficient market hypothesis, gambler's fallacy, familiarity effect, risk perception, and economic factors on investment decisions. This research is quantitative research with associative approach. All capital market investors in Medan are the population in this study. The sample was determined using judgment sampling technique and Malhotra theory so that 270 samples were obtained. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze this research. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis show that the efficient market hypothesis, gambler's fallacy, familiarity effect, risk perception, and economic factors partially have a positive and significant effect on investment decision making. Other results are efficient market hypothesis, gambler's fallacy, familiarity effect, risk perception, and economic factors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on investment decision making.

Abstract

The transportation sector is a sub-sector of the infrastructure sector, which plays an important role in economic development in Indonesia. In buying shares, investors must have the right considerations to choose the right and proper company. Thus, the emergence of a decision-making model to assist investors in purchasing shares is a necessity. The study used the MABAC method to select stock investments among 12 companies engaged in the transportation subsector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The criteria used are several financial ratios, namely PER, DER, ROE, and DPR. On the other hand, the CRITIC method is used as a determinant of the weight value of each criterion. The results of the study show that PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is the company that ranks first as the most appropriate company for buying shares.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of estimated value and rent costs on customer decision making in using gold pawn products at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk. The population in this study were customers who pawned gold at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk Medan Branch, namely 355 people. Determination of the number of samples based on Herry King's nomograph with a significance level of 5%, then the number of samples selected was 177 respondents. The analysis technique used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that the estimated value has a positive significant effect on customer decision making in using pawn products. Meanwhile, the rent cost does not have a negative significant effect on customer decision making in using pawn products. Simultaneously, the estimated value and rent costs have a significant effect on customer decision making in using pawn products.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of overconfidence, loss aversion, gambler's fallacy, on investment decisions. The type of research used is conclusive causality which aims to see the cause-and-effect between the dependent variable and the independent variable. This research study uses primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires through social media. The population in this study were all capital market investors in North Sumatra. Due to the unknown population, the sampling used Malhotra's theory with purposive sampling technique so that 190 samples were obtained in this study. The results stated that overconfidence, loss aversion and gambler's fallacy partially had a positive and significant effect on investment decision making. Other results overconfidence, loss aversion and gambler's fallacy simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on investment decision making

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of halal supply chain management for halal cosmetic products on millennial generation consumer satisfaction in Deli Serdang Regency. The type of research used is quantitative associative which aims to determine the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The type of data used is primary data in the form of a questionnaire distributed via social media. The population in this study is the entire millennial generation who use halal cosmetic products in Deli Serdang Regency. The location for Deli Serdang Regency was chosen because Deli Serdang is the regency with the largest population of the millennial generation and Muslims in Sumatera Utara Province. Sampling was determined based on Malhotra's theory so that a total sample of 160 samples was obtained. The results of this research state that halal supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on millennial generation consumer satisfaction in Deli Serdang . With this research, it is hoped that cosmetic companies or manufacturers can pay more attention to the halalness of a product, from ingredients, manufacture to distribution of cosmetics to consumers while still using Islamic provisions or in accordance with sharia.
