Abstract

Kemiskinan cenderung menjadi problem sosial yang tidak bisa hilang di kalangan masyarakat pesisir. Studi yang difokuskan pada eksplorasi akar masalah kemiskinan di kawasan ini tampaknya tidak begitu banyak. Riset ini dilakukan di Desa Jatirejo, Jawa Timur dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan karakteristik rumah tangga miskin di kawasan pesisir dan menganalisis faktor penyebab kemiskinan yang ada di sana. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif bergenre fenomenologi pada tahun 2021, riset ini memanfaatkan perangkat lunak (software) kualitatif NVivo 12 untuk menganalisis data lapangan yang berupa transkripsi wawancara, catatan lapangan (field notes) observasi, dan dokumen kearsipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompleksitas masalah rumah tangga miskin di kawasan pesisir ternyata tidak hanya berkaitan dengan isu rendahnya sumber daya manusia atau ketidakmampuan dalam mengelola sumber daya alam, tetapi juga adanya perangkap kemiskinan yang dibuat oleh pihak lain. Masyarakat pesisir dianggap miskin karena memiliki mata pencaharian yang tidak menguntungkan, beban utang rumah tangga yang makin besar, dan kualitas hidup yang rendah. Kondisi tersebut tetap langgeng karena mereka bergantung pada sumber daya laut, terjebak dalam perangkap tengkulak dan pemilik modal, dan memiliki kreativitas dalam usaha yang rendah serta pola pikir pengelolaan uang rumah tangga yang tidak efektif. Pengungkapan akar masalah kemiskinan di kawasan pesisir ini seyogianya bisa membantu pihak-pihak terkait (pemerintah, LSM, dsb.) dalam hal merumuskan strategi pengentasan kemiskinan secara jitu. Title: A Qualitative Study on Poverty Trap in Coastal Community of Pasuruan, East JavaPoverty tends to be a sustained social problem in coastal communities. Studies focusing on exploring the causes of poverty in this region seem lagging. Taking a research location in Jatirejo Village, East Java, this research aims to explain the characteristics of poor households in coastal areas and analyze the causes of poverty that exist there. Employing phenomenological-approach-based qualitative methods in 2021, this study utilizes qualitative software NVivo 12 in order to analyze data from interview transcripts, observation field notes, and archival documents. The results show that the complexity of the poverty problem for households in coastal areas is not only related to the issue of low quality of human resources or the inability to manage natural resources but also due to the existence of poverty traps made by other parties. Coastal communities are considered poor because they have unprofitable livelihoods, increasing household debt burden, and low quality of life. These poor conditions stay longer because of their dependence on marine resources, trapped in the decoy of capital owners, low creativity in business, and an ineffective household money management mindset. Disclosure of the causes of  poverty in this coastal area should be able to assist the relevant parties (government, NGOs, etc.) in formulating strategies for poverty alleviation in a precise manner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of leadership in decision making at the Baitul Muslimin Mosque. In addition, also to find out the decision-making process in the Baitul Muslimin Mosque. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The descriptive method is used as a practical way to describe and explain the role of leadership in decision making. Then, the data collection technique used data triangulation. This method is done by observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study are the leader at the Baitul Muslimin Mosque is a democratic person. This can be seen from the way decisions are made by deliberation and are happy to accommodate the aspirations of members. The role of the leader at the Baitul Muslimin Mosque is to direct, guide, accommodate aspirations, mediate if there are differences of opinion, and provide motivation. Then, the role of the leader at the Baitul Muslimin Mosque in decision making, namely mediating if there are differences of opinion, moderating, accommodating aspirations, and holding a vote to make the best decision. The stages of decision making at the Baitul Muslimin Mosque, namely: Search (this stage makes invitations and deliberation), Design (this stage mediates differences of opinion and makes alternative problems), Choice (this stage chooses the alternatives that have been made), Implementation (this stage carries out decisions that have been determined).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of service encounters at the Nurul Hayat Foundation and the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. To describe these two problems, the researcher used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of service encounters takes place in three stages, namely: pre-purchase, service encounter and post-purchase. In its implementation, service encounter support factors include: the use of SOPs as a basis for employees, a special team in monitoring employees on their SOPs, providing call centers, trying to solve any problems quickly, providing training for employees, providing product knowledge books to memorize, requiring customer service always friendly, strives to always be trustworthy in managing the money that has been given by consumers, guarantees consumer data, employees are able to adapt to every consumer who comes, requires cs employees to memorize the names of consumers who are interacting with employees, and have concrete evidence of the building and reviews from consumers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for service encounters include: employees have odd jobs which can affect the service and one main building is inadequate in serving consumers

Abstract

The problem examined by this study is how the process strategy planning in the founding of Islamic Youth of Al-Falah Mosque in Latsari Tuban and what the content of planning the founding strategy. The research aims to illustrate how the Islamic Youth of Al-Falah Mosque in Latsari Tuban does to prepare strategy planning in the founding of Islamic youth and also to find out the content of planning the founding strategy. To describe that two problems, researcher used a qualitative method with case study. The data was dig deep with interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The research provided the following results. First, in strategy planning process, the Islamic Youth of Al-Falah Mosque used external analysis, then formulated vision for the next five years, discussion with core functionaries, then rediscuss to all of organization’s devisions and praying together. Second, the design of Islamic Youth founding strategy was that there was a formulation of a target program of activities, measuring activity program’s and also developes the activity by adding new activity programs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal communication and teamwork on the quality of work of employees simultaneously or partially at RSI Mabarrot MWC NU Bungah Gresik. The method used in this research is associative quantitative research. The researcher used multiple linear regression in answering the research objectives. This research is located at RSI Mabarrot MWC NU Bungah Gresik with a total of 87 respondents. The results of this study obtained test results on the formulation of the problem to prove that: First, there is a significant effect on internal communication and teamwork on the quality of employee work simultaneously. The two variables have a p value of 0.000 < 0.05. Second, there is a significant effect on internal communication and teamwork on the quality of employees' work partially. Third, the variable of internal communication and teamwork on the quality of employee work is the r value of 0.771. The value of 0.771 indicates the value of a strong relationship given the independent variable and the dependent variable. This variable has a p value of 0.000. Fourth, internal communication has a correlation value of 0.637, while teamwork has a correlation value of 0.719. Both of these variables indicate that internal communication and teamwork get a high or strong contribution. Fifth, the variable that has the highest value is teamwork, which is 0.719. Sixth, the regression model can be used as a predictor of employee performance in the future. This is due to the SEE value < standard deviation, which is 3.337 < 2.218.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan retensi dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi tentang retensi Kepengurusan Ta’mir Masjid Al-Ihsan Bebekan Taman Sidoarjo. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti tidak hanya membahas penerapan retensi dan faktor yang mempengaruhi retensi. Namun, peneliti juga menunjukkan bagaimana pandangan perspektif Islam dalam hal retensi.Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dalam menjawab focus penelitian, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dalam menjelaskan. Peneliti juga menggunakan cara triangulasi untuk menemukan hasil yang valid. Selain itu, dalam mendapatkan data-data yang diperlukan peneliti melakukan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti mengungkap beberapa hal dari focus penelitian yang diangkat dalam rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ta’mir Masjid Al Ihsan Bebekan sudah memahami cara menerapkan retensi kepada anggotanya dan mengetahui apa saja fakor yang mempengaruhi retensi didalam Kepengurusan Ta’mir Masjid Al Ihsan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the survival strategy of Shafira Tour & Travel during the Covid-19 pandemic and the factors that hinder the process of implementing a survival strategy. Metode qualitative research case studies with exploratory types of research. The data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation. The data validity technique used is the triangulation of data sources and techniques. The result of this research is that the survival strategy implemented by Shafira Tour & Travel is the result of integrating the company's three functions: operational management, marketing and finance. Meanwhile, the factors that hinder the implementation of survival strategies consist of internal and external factors
