Abstract

Penurunan kualitas air PDAM membuat masyarakat di beberapa wilayah menggunakan air minum dalam kemasan (AMDK) untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari, baik kebutuhan rumah tangga, kantor, sekolah dan di banyak kesempatan. Kebutuhan air minum dalam kemasan yang meningkat setiap tahunnya merupakan peluang industry yang dapat berkembang pesat dan semakin banyak persaingan didalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan investasi pembangunan pabrik Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK). Metode Analisis penilaian kelayakan investasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan Studi Kelayakan Aspek Keuangan yaitu dengan metode Net Present Value ( NPV ), Revenue Cost Ratio ( RCR )Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan Analisis Titik Impas ( Break Event Point ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, NPV positif sesuai yang diharapkan, yaitu sebesar Rp.2.761.076.949. RCR diperoleh sebesar 1,46 > 1, IRR yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 40,03% lebih besar dari suku bunga komersil 12%, BEP diperoleh dalam jangka waktu 1 tahun 9 bulan, lebih cepat dari masa pengembalian modal pinjaman yaitu 10 tahun, Hal ini berarti bahwa pembangunan proyek investasi air minum dalam kemasan tersebut layak untuk dilaksanakan.

Abstract

From time to time the poplulation growth effect on the needs-of-lands. The growth of the city affect the changes of the sub-urban in a phisycal and activities. It arises as a result from the need-for-land that already not able to be fullfiled by the city Itself. Eventually, lands in the sub-urban transformed which previously dominated by non-built-up land  turn into built-up land. The movements from sub-urban to city also increased. The feeder roads between sub-urban and the city gets more dense. The study aims to review developments on the land use and density of roads in the period of time between 2010 Until 2016 and the correlation between land use development and density of roads. This research is using deductive method and ordinal regression analysis techniques. The datas that be used are primary data obtained through field observation and secondary data through study documents. The result shows the correlation between the land use development and density urban roads in the South urban fringe in the Surakarta city

Abstract

Sritex plant keeps growing which is resulting directly or indirectly attracts many labor to reside Sritex plant’s neighbourhood in order to facilitate their activities. Whereas, the Permenperin (Industrial Minister’s Regulation) No. 35 of 2010 states that the minimal distance of house to the location of plant should be more than 2000 meters recalling the hazard potentially generated by the plant to the living of the society staying there. The arrival of the labor from outside Sukoharjo Districts and surrounding areas who reside Sritex plant’s neighbourhood cause environmental burden increasing. On the other side, residents who oriented economic and can take advantage of the opportunities, their economic conditions improved and standard life increased by the existence of the Sritex plant. Based on these problems, this research want to know how impacts the existence of Sritex plant against settlement quality at Sritex plant’s neighbourhood. This research uses quantitative methods supported by several analysis techniques, including descriptive narrative analysis to identify the characteristics of Sritex plant and Paired Sample T-Test analysis to identify settlement quality at Sritex plant’s neighbourhood. The characteristic of Sritex plant divided into expanding and not expanding. While settlement quality is divided into a significant change and insignificant change / stagnant. Then an analysis of the impact of Sritex plant against settlement quality at plant’s neighbourhood using an explanatory descriptive analysis from the results of the previous analysis. Based on the results of the analysis known that the impact of Sritex plant against settlement quality viewed from the physical character of nature (Nature), social community (Society), residential buildings (Shells) and network system (Network) in the entire research area, from 17 sub variables, there are 12 sub variables changed or equal to 71% of settlements quality changed due to the expanding of Sritex plant. So known to occur relations, in which Sritex plant that expands impact on the changing significant of settlement quality on research area which is 2.000 meters of Sritex plant. The impact of expanding Sritex plant against variable of settlement quality from largest to smallest is the first Nature and Society variable, the second Network variable and the third Shell variable. Keywords:the impact of plant, quality settlement

Abstract

Flood in Surakarta mostly due to overflowing rivers that flow through the region of Surakarta. The river is part of the urban drainage system. Department of Public Works (DPU) as the local government agency is responsible for the drainage management in Surakarta. One of form of implementation of the river management as part of drainage system is river revitalization program of Pepe River downstream which performed by the DPU. Despite Pepe River downstream revitalization program has been implemented in a variety of activities, the event of flooding due to overflowing Pepe River downstream still occur. Where as the flood is one of the performance indicators of urban drainage system. Thus, from that background it can be defined in research formulation problems, that is how the influence of the river revitalization performed by the DPU Surakarta against Pepe River downstream performance as part of urban drainage system in Surakarta. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis supported by several analytical techniques including descriptive narrative analysis to identify the characteristics of the revitalization of Pepe River downstream and paired simple t-test analysis to identify the changes of drainage system performance. Next, the relations from the results of both analysis will be identified using explanatory descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis results, it shows that the characteristics of the revitalization of Pepe River downstream is categorized in moderate intensity, because it only includes physical and social activities. Although there are improved changes in the drainage system performance. On the river section I, there are less significant changes with the number of the biggest changes ison the indicator of gabions, that is 11. On the river section II, the drainage system performance changes are significant with the number of the biggest changes is on the indicator of sedimentation, that is 38. In river section III, there are less significant changes with the number of the biggest change is on the indicator of garbage accumulation, with a score of 21.Therefore, it can be argued that the river revitalization program performed by the DPU Surakarta affects the Pepe River downstream performance as the primary drainage channel in the drainage system in Surakarta. The influence can be seen from the reversion of river functions as a drainage channel which is marked by changes in Pepe River downstream drainage system performance from before the river revitalization performed and after the revitalization performed, which is improved. Keywords: river revitalization, catchment area, drainage system performence

Abstract

Abstract:Surakarta city has a transport network nodes or terminals, Terminal Tirtonadi. The existence of a passenger bus fleet AKAP and AKDP continued to decline from 2010 to 2013 while in one day, the bus terminal Tirtonadi approximately 6000 people conducting the transportation of various routes stretch. This is due to AKAP bus services and AKDP less well from the bus waiting time is too long and less regular bus arrival. This study is expected performance of the bus at Terminal Tirtonadi accommodate travel demand bus users can be known. Approach to research conducted using quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques done several ways including field survey and survey institution. The sampling technique used in conducting this research is quota sampling, sampling amount taken is 360 pieces. In the analysis performed it is known among other things, on weekdays for operational performance bus at the bus terminal bus performance Tirtonadi gained some less appropriate among other cost, bus waiting time and comfort level. As for the bus performance is the perception by the bus, it was concluded that all buses operating performance is moderate, not too good or not too bad. For the holidays, obtained operational performance bus at Terminal Tirtonadi there are some who do not fit between the other rates, waiting times, and the comfort level. Abstract

National Program for Community Empowerment (NPCE ) Tourism Unit is a new program for poverty alleviation in the region Surakarta. Issues that arise in the village Sondakan, Laweyan and Village Mojosongo was once a thriving  get a lot of government programs to poverty due to the potential tourist. Interaction between local communities and the tourists and immigrants affect the level of community participation. This study used a descriptive analysis of quantitative analysis tool is used is a Likert Scale to determine the level of community participation and analysis tools SPSS 17 is used to determine the factors that affect participation. The results showed that the force participation is given at all stages of PNPM Tourism Unit, mind and material donations given to the planning and implementation as well as participation in the form of money given in the stage of implementation and utilization. The level of community participation is quite high. Internal factors that affect the shape and the level of community participation is a factor the type of work, level of income, level of education and public knowledge factor. While external factors that affect the shape and the level of community participation is the city government, village government, LKM and facilitator. For that to the Surakarta City Government is expected to continue to provide support to the development of city infrastructure to ensure the maintenance of continuous functions of tourist infrastructure facilities and infrastructure that has been built. The role of government as a facilitator has become imperative in implementing a program, so that the government needs to increase capacity in the field of technical facilitators. Keywords: Community Empowerment, Participation, PNPM Tourism Unit in Surakarta

Abstract

Ciputat Market is a regional scale traditional market in South Tangerang. In 2002, the construction of shopping centers and modern shops began to grow slowly in the area of South Tangerang. The operation of shopping centers and modern shops are getting closer and outreach to the people, on the one hand it has made it easier for people to buy goods of daily needs, but on the other hand it can impact the development of the traditional market, because consumers have many choices places to shop. The problem of this study was about the changing of consumers shopping preference that can effect the development of Ciputat Market. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumers shopping preferences towards the development of Ciputat Market in South Tangerang. The method used in this research is deductive with descriptive explanative technique analysis. While the data obtained is the result of field observations, questionnaires, and document research. The results of this study shows the preferences of consumer shopping in South Tangerang bases on the location of shopping vebues indicated a tendency to shop in other shopping venues rather than Ciputat market, while the development of the range of services markets tend to stagnate.Keywords: shopping preferences, development of traditional markets

Abstract

Every citizen who lived in settlements will definitely produce garbage, therefore the volume of waste continues to increase every time. While the final disposal is provided having a limited capacity, so that we waste management at the community level needs to be improved so that the amount of waste that goes to landfill can be reduced. Waste management at the community level is also done in Surodadi, Siswodipuran and Perum Bumi Singkil Permai (BSP) I, Karanggeneng, Boyolali. But to these two regions have different treatment in processing waste. The problem in this research is about how are the relations between the residential character and the community participation in waste management. The methos used is the methos of description that describes the relationship between the two factors through the depiction of the results of observations, questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are the difference in terms of residential character, wate management system and participation from the community in garbage penelolaan in both regions. Economic conditions have relation with the community participation in the management of household waste. Livelihood, social, and cultural interactions taht evolve shown to has a relation with the community participation in the management of household waste. Abstract

: Jalan Yosodipuro is a local path that connects the city of Surakarta to downtown. Jalan Yosodipuro is a strategic area close to the main line of Surakarta City, Jalan Slamet Riyadi. The development of economic activity in this streets has began since the construction of a Mall that Solo Paragon Mall. As trade and service area began to grow, commercial activities dominate land use along the road Yosodipuro complement previous activities: education and housing. Means of trade and services in the form of a shop and even the development of the home into a place of business functions are often found along Jalan Yosodipuro. The high activity in this region causes the amount of movement of the vehicle is not able to be accommodated by the existing road capacity.To overcome this problem researchers conducted a study on the evaluation of the performance of the road to the development of trading activities and services. The analytical method used in this study is the analysis of the development of trade and services activities include the development of the number of business units, floor area, extensive land use and range of activities. Analysis of changes in the performance of roads which include changes in the flow of vehicles, number of occurrences side barriers, and the capacity of the road and analysis croosstab. From the overall results of analysis show that the activity of trade and services in the Yosodipuro Road experienced growth from 2010 - 2014. The development of trade and services activities cause a disturbance in the traffic activity in  Yosodipuro Road. From the research that has been conducted found that the development of trade and services activities in road Yosodipuro large influence on changes in the side barrier and the amount of traffic flow, as well as the effect being to change the capacity of the road. Keywords: Degree of Saturation, Levels of Service, Road

Abstract

Surakarta has five subdistrict. Subdistrict with the highest density is Serengan and subdistrict with the lowest density is Jebres. In Serengan, Danukusuman is the crowded, whereas in Jebres, Mojosongo is the lowest density. Density differences problem can result in differences in the activity of the people who live. Then can affect the differences in infrastructure needs and patterns of settlement there is the provision of infrastructure (actor variations and details of cooperation). So, this study done to know the characteristic comparison of high and low density settlements infrastructure provision pattern in Danukusuman and Mojosongo. To gain it, carried out was used a comparative analysis of settlement characteristics both in terms of physical, economic and socio-cultural. further analysis is to compare the characteristics of the infrastructure available with the applicable standards (SNI). then, final analysis is to determine and compare the pattern of provision of infrastructure and settlements in Danukusuman and Mojosongo. the results of the analysis is known that that there was no significant difference between high dense settlements (Danukusuman) and low dense settlements (Mojosongo) both from the aspect of the character of the location, infrastructure preparation and provision pattern. Only difference is quite prominent at the level of the economy and the provision of communal wastewater infrastructure that influenced by the density of settlement, while the difference in the provision of clean water is more influenced by the character of the location / the physical settlement. Keywords: high and low density, pattern of provision of infrastructure settlement infrastructure,
