Abstract

The purpose of this research is to learn about the organizational culture and job satisfaction at the khalafiyah Islamic boarding school, as well as to discover whether organizational culture can provide job satisfaction for the teachers at the khalafiyah Islamic boarding school in Batanghari Regency. A qualitative research methodology was applied in this study. Three Islamic Boarding Schools in Batanghari Regency served as research subjects. Documents, records, archives, or printed news are examples of data sources. Passive participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies were employed as data gathering methods. Based on the study's findings, it is possible to conclude that the cultures that exist at the three Islamic boarding schools have distinct characteristics and have evolved into a culture that is formed, believed, guided, and acted upon. Based on the study's findings, it can be concluded that the cultures that exist in the three Islamic boarding schools have distinct characteristics and become a culture that is created, believed, guided, and actualized as rules that must be obeyed in order to limit behavior (self-control) and make it a tradition and personality.

Abstract

This paper recognized and provided an overview of participatory leadership efforts in developing lecturer job satisfaction. A qualitative approach allows us to know the subject more directly and intimately. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The Miles and Hubermen model was used to analyze the data used in this analysis. Based on the report, the following conclusions can be drawn 1) make decisions with the help of subordinates; 2) The leadership of PTKIS empowers lecturers by holding training activities, seminars, workshops, making resource persons in campus activities, assigning tasks and responsibilities based on their expertise and educational background, recommending lecturers to continue their doctoral degrees and participate in the 5000 doctoral scholarship program, and 3) PTKIS leaders build open lines of communication with their subordinates.

Abstract

Sulitnya menemukan sosok pemimpin yang ideal, salah satumya disebabkan oleh anggapan bahwa jabatan dianggap sebagai “anugerah” yang didapat dengan sedikit perjuangan atau dengan cara-cara yang tidak terhormat. Sosok pemimpin yang dapat menyelesaikan berbagai gejolak yang muncul, yaitu seorang pemimpin yang berkarakter. Seorang pemimpin harus memiliki kemampuan untuk memengaruhi orang lain, berwibawa, dan visioner. Ada enam fungsi secara integral yang harus dilaksanakan oleh seorang pemimpin, yaitu: memelihara agama, memelihara jiwa, memelihara akal, memelihara kesinambungan generasi, memelihara harta, dan memelihara kehormatan. Mengelola organisasi dengan pendekatan prilaku manusia (human behavior aproach) perlu dilakukan. Dalam pendekatan keperilakuan (behavioral approach) mencoba mengidentifikasi perilaku yang khas dari pemimpin dalam kegiatannya untuk mempengaruhi anggota-anggota kelompok atau pengikutnya. Perilaku pemimpin ini dapat berorientasi pada tugas keorganisasian ataupun pada hubungan dengan anggota kelompoknya. Perilaku kepemimpinan yang berorientasi pada orang (Concern for People) merupakan fokus bahasan yang penulis anggap memiliki kedekatan makna dan fungsi secara operasional pada upaya pemimpin membangun ruh al-jama’ah (spirit kerjasama tim/team work). Keberhasilan organisasi mencapai tujuannya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kapabilitas pemimpin dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia dengan spirit kerjasama tim (ruhul jama’ah). Untuk meningkatkan efektifitas kepemimpinannya, pemimpin dapat menggunakan pengaruh: (a) rational persuasion, (b) exchange tactics, (c) legitimate request, (d) pressure tactics, dan (e) personal appeals. Termasuk juga; (f) memperhatikan kebutuhan bawahan (teori Abraham Maslow), (g) menciptakan suasana saling percaya antar bawahan dengan pimpinan dan bawahan dengan bawahan, (g) menaruh simpati terhadap bawahan sebagai bagian dari organisasi, (h) memperlihatkan sisi persahabatan dengan bawahan, (i) dan mengutamakan pengarahan diri, mendisiplin diri, mengontol diri.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis oleh penulis untuk mengkaji mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi paradigma berpikir kesisteman dalam pendidikan islam. Selanjutnya penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode penulisan metode kualitatif dan studi literature atau Library Research. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa paradigma, berpikir dan kesisteman berpengaruh terhadap pendidikan islam. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan islam paradigma harus bisa memposisikan kedalam komponen sistem terpenting bagi lembaga tersebut untuk mendidik manusia seutuhnya (insan kamil). Adanya metode berpikir dan jika diterapkan dalam pendidikan islam maka melalui metode-metode tersebut, baik dilakukan secara alternern maupun secara terpadu, bukan hanya dapat menyentuh persoalan hablu min Allah dan hablu min al-‘alam, tetapi juga akan menambah kepada hablm min an-nas atau persoalan-persoalan sosial dalam pendidikan islam. Pendidikan islam harus memiliki kesisteman yang komplek sehingga akan memudahkan pendidikan islam dalam upaya mencapai target, tujuan, misi dan visi dari sistem pendidikan islam tersebut untuk bisa bersaing dengan perkembangan zaman di era globalisasi. Kebijakan pemerintah sangat penting pengaruhnya dalam pendidikan islam. Adanya kebijakan pemerintah sangat membantu dalam melakukan dan pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen pendidikan islam itu sendiri. Dengan demikian dapat mencapai tujuan, misi dan visi pendidikan islam yang bernilai di dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

This paper discusses the Indonesian government's education policy in the New Order era and its influence on Islamic education in Indonesia. This paper aims to find out how education policy in Indonesia in the New Order era was and its influence on Islamic education in Indonesia. The New Order provided a new style for Islamic religious education policy, because the influence of communism shifted towards strengthening Pancasila through a sustainable national development plan. Education is the main pillar of the founding of a nation. Education is an effort to design the future of humans as a generation that will advance a nation. The concept of education applied in Indonesia has never been separated from political elements and government policies. Education during the New Order era was a short-term education system or, in other words, centralization, making the quality of Indonesian education increasingly worse. Thus, education during the New Order era was not aimed at improving people's standard of living, let alone improving Indonesia's human resources, but prioritized political orientation so that all people always obeyed every government policy. Education is a link in the process of guiding and cultivating good human abilities. Apart from that, education is an introduction to humanity to a greater or higher civilization based on the balance of human life, the environment and the Creator. Education is a field which is related to human life. The general aim of Islamic education is to make the personality of every believer have advanced thinking, ready to legalize every truth of his knowledge, and expert in implementing the knowledge he has. The goals of Islamic education can be realized if it is carried out according to the correct basics, namely the Koran and Hadith. One of these government regulations is regulations. Regarding the nine-year compulsory education program, namely elementary school and junior high school or equivalent. Therefore, Islamic education has existed since the Old Order era until the Reformation era, where the quality of education has increasingly improved and experienced good changes.
