Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of rice husk charcoal and cow manure on the growth of Dayak onions (Eleutherine americana Merr.) And produce Student Worksheets for class XII SMA. This research was conducted in Jayapura Village, Siak Regency, in October-December 2019. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 treatments using a combination of rice husk charcoal and cow manure and each treatment was repeated as much 3 times. The parameters of this study were leaf length, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf wet weight, and tuber wet weight. The design of LKPD development refers to the stages of the Problem Based Learning model which are simplified into the Analyze and Design stages. The results showed that the combination of rice husk charcoal and cow manure can increase the growth of Dayak onions significantly affected at a dose of 90 gr/tan (S2K2) with the best treatment on each parameter observed. The results obtained will be used as a development material for the growth and development of Class XII SMA in KD 3.1 and 4.1. The results of the design of learning tools in the form of Syllabus, RPP and LKPD.

Abstract

The aims to determine the effect of chitosan concentration and smoking time on the quality of smoked catfish (Pangasius sp.) and produce Student Worksheet design. This research was divided into two step, there is experimental step and the Student Worksheet design. At the experimental step, used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Factor I is the concentration of chitosan, and factor II is duration of smoking time. This study consisted of 12 treatments with 3 replications so that there were 36 experimental units. Parameters observed were protein content, fat content, water content and organoleptic on appearance, scent, taste and texture. The results showed that the effect of chitosan concentration and smoking time had an effect on treated with 3% chitosan and 3 days of smoking showed the best results, with the total protein content was 35.89%, fat content was 29.72% and water content was 15.27%. Meanwhile, the organoleptic test results of smoked catfish on the aspects of appearance, scent, taste and texture, the best treatment was also found in smoked catfish with 3% chitosan treatment and 3 days of smoking time. The results can be used as a student worksheet design on Food Additives material for class XI high school.

Abstract

Research development of teaching materials photosynthesis on the subject Ecophysiology plant based research aims to: (1) for the type and ratio of organic matter to the soil mixture former bauxite mine is best to plant photosynthesis rubber clone PB 260. (2) Enriching teaching materials in the form of modules Ecophysiology plant based experimental research. Stage of research include; (1) Experiment with 3 treatment ratio (w / w): control, (1: 1), (1: 2) to design completely randomized design. Data analysis by ANOVA and Duncan's Multiple Range Test Test. (2) Development of teaching materials in the form of plant ecophysiology module using ADDIE development model (Dick and Carey). The results showed a mixture of organic matter to the soil manure former bauxite mine is better than chicken manure with a mixture ratio of 1: 2. Modules developed from the results of the experiment show valid with an average of 3.32. The module has a good practical in terms of ease of use, time used to study the module, the material is quite clear from the data presented research results in the form of drawings (graphs) and tables. Student learning outcomes everything including the excellent category with a range of values 81 - 85. The module is useful to increase knowledge of students in special ecophysiology plant and botany in general.Keywords: teaching materials, photosynthesis, soil former bauxite mine

Abstract

The utilization of green open space (RTH) in Desa Lambang Sari I, II, III, Kecamatan Lirik Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu used for ordinary services, such as gardening, exercising, and interacting, aims to determine its utilization based on activity types, the actor, vegetation types, utilization time, and its contributions on socio-cultural, economic, and environmental aspects, as well as to build collaboration between the community and the government to create an integrated RTH. The methods applied to achieve these goals included (a) Identifying the existing conditions of public RTH to determine its form, type, and function, (b) identifying the RTH utilization patterns including its types, implementation time, actors and forms of management, frequency of utilization, benefits of activity implementation and, (c) identifying the role of the community in the public RTH utilization, and (d) formulating the development of RTH needed by Desa Lambang Sari I, II, III. In the end, a development master plan was created based on the needs of the community, which became the reference for the development of this green open space.

Abstract

Vegetasi bawah adalah lapisan penutup tanah yang terdiri dari herba, perdu atau perdu liana dan paku-pakuan. Keanekaragaman vegetasi bagian bawah dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pengayaan materi keanekaragaman hayati pada tingkat spesies. Keanekaragaman hayati merupakan ilmu dasar yang sudah ada dibidang ekologi. Materi tentang keanekaragaman hayati ini telah dijadikan sebagai materi utama dalam kurikulum 2013. Keanekaragaman hayati disajikan khususnya pada materi untuk siswa kelas X SMA yaitu KD 3.2 menganalisis data hasil pengamatan tentang berbagai tingkat keanekaragaman hayati (gen, spesies dan ekosistem) di Indonesia seta ancaman dan pelestariannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Alam Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Riau, perancangan buku saku dilakukan pada bulan September 2021. KD yang cocok untuk diintegrasikan dengan hasil penelitian tumbuhan bawah di Laboratorium Alam Pendidikan Biologi adalah KD 3.2 menganalisis data hasil pengamatan tentang berbagai tingkat keanekaragaman hayati (gen, spesies dan ekosistem) di Indonesia serta ancaman dan konservasinya. Perancangan buku saku ini disesuaikan dengan pendekatan discovery learning. Buku saku tumbuhan bawah yang telah dibuat dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi keanekaragaman hayati di SMA Biologi kelas X dari tahap analisis, desain dan pengembangan.
