Abstract

TPQ Al-Wardah is the first TPQ in Wanar Village which until now has less than 100 students fostered by 6 Asatidzah. The method used at TPQ Al-Wardah is the An-Nahdiyah method. Based on the results of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD), the formulation of the problem tree, and the formulation of the hope tree, it shows that TPQ Al-Wardah Desa Wanar still needs guidance, especially in the field of procurement and management of infrastructure that can support better educational institutions. In addition, the method of teaching the Koran at TPQ Al-Wardah is still monotonous, making it boring and less effective. Institutional strengthening through empowering educational resources at TPQ Al-Wardah needs to be done before maximizing other elements. Therefore, community service activities were carried out at TPQ Al-Wardah entitled upgrading or improving Al-Qur'an learning facilities and methods. The strategies used in this activity were (1) conducting FGDs with related institutions and agencies, (2) formulating various learning methods and infrastructure needed by TPQ Al-Wardah, (3) updating recitation infrastructure at TPQ Al Wardah, ( 4) organize training on fun Al-Quran learning methods through the 3B method (Playing, Storytelling, and Singing) as well as practical learning methods. The facilities provided in this activity were bookcases, Al-Qur'an, several volumes of An-Nahdliyah books, stationery, and visual aids. In addition, in this activity training was held on the Al-Qur'an 3B learning method (Playing, Learning, and Storytelling) for teachers.

Abstract

Pendidikan di era kontemporer banyak menghadapi tantangan moralitas. Pendidikan formal konvensional, terutama, menanggulangi persoalan tersebut dengan mengadakan program konseling. Pendidikan pesantren menjadi satu-satunya sistem pendidikan yang sejak awal dibentuk salah satunya adalah untuk mengatasi persoalan etika dan moralitas. Santri diberikan waktu belajar yang intens bersama dengan guru atau kiyai, termasuk juga dalam lingkungan tempat tinggal yang sama. Sehingga dapat lebih mudah mengontrol perkembangan santri baik secara etika maupun intelektualnya. Namun dalam konteks konseling modern, belum banyak yang menerapkannya dalam pendidikan pesantren, yang akhirnya membuat pendidikan pesantren terkesan sangat tradisional, sementara persoalan moral peserta didik mulai kompleks. Salah satu pesantren yang menerapkan program bimbingan konseling adalah Pesantren Assalafi Al Fithrah Surabaya. Sebagai pesantren yang berdasar ada ajaran-ajaran tasawuf, terutama tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyyah, program bimbingan konseling di pondok tersebut memasukkan pemahaman-pemahaman tasawuf dalam konseling. Bimbingan konseling di pesantren tersebut juga tidak hanya berbasis pada masalah, tetapi juga pencegahan. Meskipun menjadi program yang aplikatif dalam menanaman nilai-nilai tasawuf, program konseling di pondok tersebut masih dalam tahap pengembangan, dan masih berjalan hanya di pesantren putri saja.

Abstract

The Tarekat is an organized system of wirid, riyadah, and mujahadah under the direction of a mursyid (spiritual teacher) that promotes the pursuit of meaning and the deepening of religion as a means of perfection with an emphasis on the profound (esoteric components). With the emergence of the Majlis Dzikir of Al-Khidmah community-preserving assembly organization by Shaykh Ahmad Asrori al-Ishaqi, the tarekat al-Qadiriyyah wa al-Naqsyabandiyyah (TQN) al-Utsmaniyyah expanded quickly. This tarekat is followed by people from all backgrounds, including members of Muhammadiyah, through numerous inclusive variations. This study explores the motivations of the Muhammadiyah community and how they perceive TQN al-Utsmaniyyah. The instrument of analysis in this study is Max Weber’s Social Action Theory. It is a qualitative-descriptive study employing a phenomenological approach. The participants in this study were members of the Muhammadiyah community who were interested in taking part in the development of TQN al-Utsmaniyyah. The results showed that TQN al-Utsmaniyyah is regarded by Muhammadiyah people from two perspectives: first, the side of the tarekat that has inclusive qualities and various types of ease and ritual lightness, making the teachings of the tarekat seem more engaging and practical. Second, from the mursyid of TQN al-Utsmaniyyah’s part, Shaykh Ahmad Asrori al-Ishaqi, who is famous for being a charismatic individual who is kind, competent, and has a strong sense of community, The majlis dzikir of Al-Khidmah is followed by Muhammadiyah adherents for instrumental rational action factors and value-oriented acts, or decisions made by someone based on careful consideration and good or poor values.
