Abstract

Alhamdulillah, by looking at the future of rapid and sophisticated development of information technology that does not rule out the possibility of every Indonesian society in general, the teachers and the management of Mizan Amanah in particular get updated information and knowledge, so as not to be outdated and to compete with the community abroad. The purpose of conducting PKM activities within the Mizan Amanah Foundation is to introduce ideas, inovation, and realization of the industrial revolution 4, provide an overview and experience in responding to the digital era, and to use it wisely. In this PKM (Community Service) activity, we use observation and direct interviews as  research methods with the management to get information related to daily activities and activities at the Foundation, so that we can get to know the educational background, expertise, and professions of each of them each teacher and administrator. From this research, students are expected to be more open in their insights about information technology and its use, and to use it more wisely in everyday life. This is possible to be able to give positive hope to them in the future, so that they are ready to be able to welcome a better tomorrow.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini dilaksanakan dalam kondisi yang agak berbeda, yaitu dalam suasana yang diliputi dengan pandemi Covid-19 yang menyebar di seluruh nusantara bahkan seluruh dunia. Kondisi ini memaksa tim abdimas untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan seperti social distancing, sehingga penyampaian materi dilakukan secara online menggunakan software Zoom. Karena keterbatasan fasilitas, maka pihak peserta hanya menggunakan sebuah perangkat berupa laptop secara bersama namun penyampaian dua arah tetap dapat dilakukan. Materi disampaikan dengan disertai tanya jawab dari para peserta yang sama sekali baru dalam hal database. Semua pertanyaan yang dilontarkan dijawab dengan menggunakan analog-analog dalam kehidupan keseharian yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan dimana para peserta biasa berinteraksi. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk memudahkan dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan bagi para peserta yang terdiri dari pelajar tingkat SD dan SMP. Para peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan pendahuluan atau perkenalan terhadap database dan aplikasinya dalam semua kegiatan sehari-hari. Materi tersebut dapat menjadi bekal awal untuk pengetahuan lanjutan serta praktek penggunaannya di kesempatan berikutnya.

Abstract

The development of data technology and its utilization is very fast, resulting in humans’ competition for innovation in the data that can be more easily processed in such a way as to meet user’s expectations. Data integration is an important aspect to make data and information are connected one and another. Weaknesses that often arise from the traditional-way of ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) are the complexity of connections from multiple sources, as well as the dependence on temporary data storage to allow data to flow from the source Database to the target Database. The application of data virtualization can provide the right solution to integrate data more effectively and more efficiently than the use of ETL methods in general. The purpose of this research is that Data Virtualization can provide features and renewable technology, making it easier for users to generate daily or monthly bank reports faster in accordance with the expectations and provisions in the Bank Indonesia (BI) regulations. Therefore, in the process of this research, R&D (Research and Development) is still considered the most appropriate method. The results of this research are solutions or commercial bank’s data processing systems that can issue the result information that will be daily / monthly reported by the users to Bank Indonesia.

Abstract

Image recognition technology has developed rapidly in recent times. There are many methods springing up in its use. One of them is the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as used in this research. The method is used to detect image patterns from the shape of the arrangement of the fingers of one hand as a signal from the identification of the numbers 0 to 9 in SIBI (Indonesian Sign Language System). The problem of the research is that many optimizers emerge in a deep learning method. Therefore, selecting the right optimizer itself is a challenge that can be used as the next reference for input images that do not go through the previous pre-processing stage. The aim of the research is to get the best accuracy score from the comparison of 3 optimizers and their relations to processing time. The conclusion obtained shows that AdaDelta optimizer that has existed for a long time can provide better results than Adam which is the development of the last optimizer.

Abstract

Pengguna masyarakat saat ini memiliki lebih banyak data daripada sebelumnya. Jika mereka tidak dapat memahami dan menafsirkannya, mereka tidak akan dapat menyadari potensi penuhnya untuk menghasilkan manfaat dari data. Literasi data yang buruk menghambat transformasi digital informasi yang beredar dan dapat mengakibatkan pemahaman yang salah dalam menafsirkan data dengan tepat.Pengetahuan dasar mengenai data literasi kepada Pengurus di Yayasan Mizan Amanah akan memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar dalam dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat dari beberapa pilihan yang disajikan serta sumber informasi yang berbeda-beda dan beragam. Pengetahuan yang nantinya didapatkan melalui pelatihan akan memberikan nilai tambah dalam mengajar anak-anak panti asuhan, terutama dengan pelajaran yang berkaitan dengan teknologi informasi. Teknik data literasi memungkinkan masyarakat dapat mengakses data dari bebagai sumber informasi dan memilah-milahnya sehingga didapat informasi tepat guna yang dapat diserap oleh semua kalangan masyarakat. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan akan membuka wawasan para guru dan Pengurus sehingga akhirnya anak-anak panti asuhan pun akan mendapatkan pencerahan mengenai penerapan data liteasi secara nyata dilapangan baik di organisasi maupun perusahaan komersil.
