Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter pada siswa di SDN Gunung Melati 1 Kabupaten Tanah Laut. (2) untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter terhadap perilaku siswa pada SDN Gunung Melati 1 Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, sedangkan alat penggali data adalah kuesioner atau angket dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data digunakan rumus persamaan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter di SDN Gunung Melati 1 Kabupaten Tanah Laut telah berlangsung baik. Hal ini berdasarkan nilai signifikan (sig) sebesar 0,037, oleh karena nilai P = 0,037 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter (X) berpengaruh positif terhadap Perilaku Siswa (Y) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Gunung Melati 1 Kecamatan Batu Ampar Kabupaten Tanah Laut” diterima. Koefisien determinasi R2 sebesar 0,147 atau 14,7%, artinya variabel perilaku siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel implementasi pendidikan karakter sebesar 14,7%. Sedangkan sisanya 85,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak dijelaskan dalam model tersebut.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the implementation of character education for students at SDN Gunung Melati 1, Tanah Laut Regency. (2) to determine the implementation of character education on student behavior at SDN Gunung Melati 1 Tanah Laut Regency. The research method used was quantitative methods, while the data mining tools were questionnaires and documentation. Data processing used simple linear regression equation formula. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the implementation of character education at SDN Gunung Melati 1 Tanah Laut Regency has been going well. The results of statistical analysis of simple linear regression calculations obtained N = 35 indicating the tcount value of 4.258 is greater than the tcount with a significant level of 5% indicating the number 2.03. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which says there is an effect of the implementation of character education on student behavior at SDN Gunung Melati 1 Tanah Laut Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the mentoring program at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Kutai Kartanegara in shaping students' Islamic character. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research investigates the experiences, perceptions, and practices surrounding the program from the perspectives of students, mentors, and school administrators. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation over three months, from September to November 2024. The data analysis process involved transcribing interviews, organizing field notes, coding recurring themes, and interpreting the findings in relation to the research objectives. The findings reveal that the mentoring program at MAN 2 Kutai Kartanegara has significantly contributed to the development of students' Islamic character, promoting values such as honesty, discipline, respect, and responsibility. Mentors played a key role in fostering a supportive environment, helping students internalize these values through theoretical discussions and practical activities. While students demonstrated improvements in behavior and discipline, challenges such as time constraints, varying levels of religious knowledge, and limited parental involvement were noted as factors that hindered the full potential of the program. Recommendations for enhancing the program include allocating more time for mentoring, addressing the diverse religious backgrounds of students, and increasing parental involvement to reinforce the values taught in the program.
