Abstract

The study is to investigate the effectiveness of several anthocyanins on quality of papaya jam. It was conducted using a randomized block design, arranged with two factors. The first factor is the anthocyanin with different source with several levels that of control (without pigment), canna flower, grape and skins dragon fruit, factor II is sugar content which is 40%, 50%, and 60%. The results of the study, indicating that there is significant to increase quality products. The best treatment is papaya jam with canna flower anthocyanin pigment and 60% sugar.

Abstract

This Research aim  to analyse influence of strategy of Cooperative type Learning of two stray two stay to result learn student at history subject in SMA Negeri 1 Palu. Research of this experiment use Randomized Pre Test-Posttest Control Design. Subjek or population in this research is class student of XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Palu. Sampel Research specified by class of XI IPA 3 as experiment class and class of XI IPA 4 as control class. Technique taker of first phase sampel use purpossive sampling  and  both/ second phase using sampling random. Independent variable in this research is model of two stay two stray and variable of dependen is score result of learning student history subject of SMA Negeri 1Palu. Data collecting done/conducted with tes result of learning. Instrument Validasi namely and validity of realibilitas instrument counted/calculated to use aid of microsof excel. Test conditions cover test of normalitas use Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test use Levene Test. Examination of hypothesis use t test at level of signifikansi 0,05. Result of hypothesis test obtain;get value of p= 0,00 < 0,05 meaning result learn student at experiment class by using model of two stay two stray of result learn student at class control by using conventional study. Thereby can be concluded by model of two stay two stray have.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a special dimension of service quality in Islamic higher education institutions in shaping Islamic culture according to the perceptions of international Muslim students. Using a quantitative approach with exploratory factor analysis, it involved 100 international Muslim students taken from multi-stage proportionated stratified random sampling (probability sampling). The results showed that based on the experience of international Muslim students, the service quality of Islamic higher education institutions included the dimensions of teaching staff competencies, administrative staff competencies, Islamic environment, physical facilities and information technology-based services, all of which can work together in shaping Islamic culture. To support the vision of the internationalization of Islamic higher education institutions, managers must pay attention to these dimensions as a representation of the quality of service felt by international Muslim students to meet their expectations during their studies at Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

Inequality that occurs in this life is caused by poor human character. Efforts to equip generations with character education continue to be a concern. The purpose of this research is to reveal; (1) the form of reconceptualization of Islamic-based character education in the Singapore Perdaus institution, (2) the influencing factors, and (3) the impact or implications. The approach used is qualitative, the research data is information about character education in the Perdaus Singapore institution, the data analysis is descriptive-qualitative. The findings of this study are (1) the concept of character education in the Singapore Perdaus institution is implemented in the form of character education through the al-Quran, kurban activities, early childhood education, and character education for youth, (2) there are two influencing factors, namely; External factors include government support, public awareness, well-established community conditions, and high intensity of career women. As for the internal factors in the form of competent human resources, open institutions, and innovation and adequate facilities, (3) the positive impact is the strengthening of public trust in Islamic institutions, the birth of a cultured generation of advanced society, and the opening of job opportunities. The conclusion of this study shows that the values of universal Islamic character do not conflict with the life of developed societies.

Abstract

Abstract, This article contains a discussion of research on the role of madrasas in cultivating religious character values ​​in students. The object in this article was carried out at the Bojonegoro Model 1 State Madrasah Aliyah (MA). The type of research used in this article is qualitative. By conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The focus in this article is on (1) the concept of internalizing students' religious character values; (2) Application of the internalization of religious character values ​​of students; (3) Implications of internalizing the religious character values ​​of students in State MA 1 Model Bojonegoro. The results of this study indicate that (1) State Senior High School 1 Model Bojonegoro has a coaching concept. habituation, and exemplary; (2) In applying religious character values, State MA 1 Model Bojonegoro implements it through strengthening formal material; Implementation of religious program activities; Providing exemplary advice; Giving educational punishment as a consequence of the violation committed; (3) The implications for internalizing religious character values ​​are that students show that they can accept the concept and implement efforts to internalize religious character values. This is evidenced in the daily habitual behavior observed by researchers and data from the Counseling Guidance team which shows that within 5 months the level of violations committed by students is very minimal. So it can be concluded that the internalization of religious character values ​​in the Bojonegoro Model 1 State MA has been well internalized. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi Kinerja ASN pada Kantor PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dan kuesioner yang disebar kepada 59 pegawai ASN pada Kantor PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Makassar sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Koefisien determinasi R2 sebesar 0,884 yang berarti 88,4%. Hal ini menandakan adanya pengaruh kompetensi kerja, motivasi, kompensasi, lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan disiplin terhadap variabel Kinerja ASN sedangkan sisanya sebesar 11,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar model penelitian ini. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze what factors can influence Civil Servants (ASN) performance at the PPSDM Office Ministry of Home Affairs Regional Makassar. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data was obtained through documentation and questionnaires distributed to 59 Civil Servants employees at at the PPSDM Office Ministry of Home Affairs Regional Makassar as respondents. The research results show that the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.884, which means 88.4%. This indicates that there is an influence of work competency, motivation, compensation, work environment, leadership and discipline on the Civil Servants performance variable, while the remaining 11.6% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

Education began with the classical view of ancient Greek philosophy regarding logical truth, in the medieval period there was a restriction on freedom of thought by the church on the grounds that truth could not be produced by reason as happened in the ancient Greek period, after that came the modern period called the renaissance , namely the school of thought. rationalism which prioritizes reason as a source of knowledge. From knowledge that continues to develop, new ideas and knowledge emerge that make the world of education activities increasingly complex. This history-based educational theory research uses a qualitative approach with a type of bibliographic research so as to present accurate historical facts in accordance with theory from various historical experts' points of view. The science developed in western education is philosophy which is formed as a reference for their thinking, which will give rise to thoughts characterized by materialism, idealism, secularism and rationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the dynamics of the relationship between Kiai and santri in traditional pesantren. This research deconstructs the relationship between Kiai and Santri in the Indonesian socio-cultural context. Through a critical approach, this research examines the dynamics of power and cultural influences that color the relationship. Using a case study, this research reveals the complexity of the Kiai and Santri relationship that goes beyond the traditional teacher-student relationship. The research aims to unpack the assumptions underlying this traditional relationship, as well as reveal the power structures and cultural dynamics that exist. Through qualitative methods, data was collected from in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results show that the relationship between Kiai and Santri in traditional pesantren is built on the basis of strong religious and cultural values. Kiai holds a central role as a spiritual leader and teacher, while Santri places themselves as obedient and respectful students. This relationship is characterized by a clear hierarchy, where Kiai has great authority and influence over both Kiai and santri. Then the relationship between Kiai and Santri is not only hierarchical, but also complex and dynamic, with the negotiation and resistance of santri to the kiai's authority. Santri, who are often positioned in subordinate power (Patron-Client), demonstrate the ability to negotiate their identity and space within the pesantren structure. This research highlights the importance of understanding this relationship in the broader context of social and cultural change, and encourages the reconstruction of a more equal relationship between kiai and santri. The findings contribute to the study of Islamic education and social dynamics in Indonesia, and open space for discussion on the redefinition of Kiai according to relevant pesantren education reviews.

Abstract

Purpose – This study explores the impact of Learning Management System (LMS) usage on the online learning experience at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to evaluate student satisfaction and identify challenges faced during this transition, contributing to the broader discussion on optimizing LMS for enhancing student outcomes and satisfaction in higher education, particularly in times of crisis. Methods/Design/Approach – A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected from 400 respondents through online surveys using Likert-scale questions. The sample included students and faculty members involved in online learning. The study used statistical analysis to assess satisfaction levels and identify key challenges in LMS adoption, particularly focusing on the use of the MOODLE platform. Findings – The use of MOODLE LMS increased from 18.5% in the first semester of the pandemic to 51% in the second semester, reflecting greater platform acceptance. Students reported moderate satisfaction with an overall score of 3.8 out of 5. Challenges included limited internet access (63.5%), insufficient internet quota subsidies (63.3%), and low satisfaction with academic services (2.73) and online learning policy promotion (2.76). Originality/Value – This study provides insights into LMS adoption in a specific educational and cultural context, highlighting both the potential and the challenges of digital learning platforms during a global crisis. It offers practical recommendations for improving LMS design and implementation in higher education. Practical Implications – The findings suggest universities should enhance digital infrastructure and offer financial support to overcome technical barriers such as limited internet access. Improving academic services and promoting clearer online learning policies will further increase LMS effectiveness and student satisfaction.
