Abstract

The increasingly advanced zone of sport shoes is one of the needs needed to increase comfort in sports activities, sport shoes can also increase one's confidence. Decision Support Systems or DSS is a technique of mathematically based information systems including knowledge-based systems or knowledge management that are used to support making decisions in an organization or company. Abstract

The development of information technology has made various activities easier, including the search for temporary accommodations such as boarding houses. In Medan, many newcomers and local residents face difficulties finding boarding houses that meet their needs because the available information is often inaccurate or outdated. Additionally, boarding house owners encounter challenges in managing properties and finding tenants manually, which consumes a significant amount of time and effort. To address these issues, Ruteakost was developed as a web-based boarding house information system Waterfall method to ensure a structured and systematic approach. Ruteakost is designed to simplify the search for boarding houses based on facilities and strategic locations, while also helping property owners manage their properties without the need for direct interaction with potential tenants. The system offers features such as tenant management, rent payment, property maintenance, and financial reporting, aiming to create an efficient, transparent, and easy-to-monitor process. Furthermore, Ruteakost introduces integrated online payment options and a more user-friendly interface. This innovation aims to overcome common issues found in other platforms, such as outdated boarding house listings and complex interfaces that can confuse users. Through new, effective, and intuitive features, Ruteakost provides a reliable solution for property owners to improve their operational efficiency, while also offering a better search experience for prospective tenants. Thus, Ruteakost not only assists in the management and booking of boarding houses in Medan but also strives to enhance service quality through the integration of more advanced technology, focusing on user needs and easy access to information.

Abstract

Tourist attractions are places of interest and visited by tourists because they have certain appeals. These attractions can include natural tourism, cultural tourism, artificial tourism, or agro-tourism. Simalungun Regency offers various interesting tourist spots, ranging from natural beauty such as waterfalls and lakes to rich traditional cultures that reflect local history and customs. However, information about tourist visit patterns remains limited. A deeper understanding of these patterns is crucial, especially for tourism managers in designing effective and sustainable development strategies. Therefore, this study aims to identify associations or relationships between tourist attractions based on tourist visit data. The Apriori algorithm was chosen for its ability to discover high-frequency patterns in large datasets. These patterns are expected to provide valuable insights for tourism managers in designing effective promotional strategies. Apriori is a well-known algorithm in data mining, particularly for finding frequent itemsets using association rule techniques. The algorithm is carried out by determining frequent itemsets, from 1-itemset to multi-itemsets, until the association rules are derived from the pre-selected data. To obtain these frequent itemsets, each selected data must meet the minimum support and minimum confidence requirements so that the resulting association rules are relevant and practically applicable.
