Abstract

Ignition delay is an important parameter in diesel engine operation. It is defined as the time (or crank angle degree) between the start of injection and the start of combustion. Ignition delay should be kept as short as possible, otherwise diesel knocking can occur if the delay is too long. Many works have shown that increasing fuel cetane number may shorten the ignition delay. In conjunction with the BPBT "“ PPKS Biodiesel Project to utilize methyl ester palm oil (sawit) (MES) as an alternative fuel, several compositions of MES-conventional diesel fuel blends were tested. Cetane number of MES-diesel fuel blends were calculated to be higher than that of conventional diesel fuel. Hence, it was expected that the MES-diesel fuel blends would yield shorter ignition delay than pure diesel fuel. Engine tests were conducted to compare the performance of several blends of MES-diesel fuel. The results from in-cylinder pressure data, from which ignition delay was determined have confirmed this work. Furthermore, correlations between ignition delay, cetane number, and engine speed have been obtained in simple linear equations.Key words: Ignition delay, Cetane number, Biodiesel, Methyl Ester Sawit (MES), Direct injection.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi dan disiplin kerja karyawan terhadap kinerja organisiasi di STMIK-Akademi Bina Insani Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey kuantitatif, dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh dari 32 (tiga puluh dua) orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Budaya Organisasi, Disiplin Kerja baik secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Organisasi atau karyawan. Kata kunci: budaya organisasi, disiplin kerja, kinerja organisasi Abstract: This study aims to find out the effect of organizational behavior and job discipline on the organizational performance of STMIK-Akademi Bina Insani Bekasi. This study used a quantitative survey research using questionnaires as its instrument of research. The sampling method used in this study was census with total 32 employments. The method of analysis used in this study is multiple linear regressions. The results showed that organizational behavior and job discipline simultaneously are having significant influence to the performance of STMIK-Akademi Bina Insani Bekasi. Partially organizational behavior has positive significant effect on the performance STMIK-Akademi Bina Insani Bekasi as well as job discipline. organizational behavior has bigger significant variable in influencing the performance of STMIK-Akademi Bina Insani Bekasi. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan seberapa besar pengaruh proses rekruitmen, seleksi, dan penempatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode angket atau kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 95 karyawan. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan model regresi linier berganda dengan uji t (parsial) dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil analisis regresi berganda dengan uji t (parsial) dengan bantuan program SPSS terdapat pengaruh negatif dari variabel proses rekruitmen terhadap kinerja, seleksi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja, dan penempatan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. XYZ.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah studi kuantitatif yang dilakukan di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran Kabupaten Paser Kalimantan Timur dengan fokus pada pegawai yang bekerja di instansi tersebut. Sampel terdiri dari 56 pegawai, yang diambil dengan metode survei google menggunakan kuesioner. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS 21. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semua jenis gaya kepemimpinan yang terdiri dari Kepemimpinan Otokratis, Kepemimpinan Demokratis, dan Kepemimpinan Laissez-Faire memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran Kabupaten Paser. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara variabel independen (Gaya Kepemimpinan Otokratis, Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis, Gaya Kepemimpinan Laissez-Faire) dengan variabel dependen (Kinerja Pegawai), dan variabel independen tersebut dapat menjelaskan sebanyak 68,2% variasi pada variabel dependen. Penemuan ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan strategi dan program pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan memperhatikan gaya kepemimpinan yang sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi di lapangan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of electronic teaching materials based on local wisdom using the Canva and Cap Cut applications to assess, design teaching materials based on local wisdom, improve the learning process in a more interesting way, so that students do not feel bored in class. There is also the aim of knowing the steps for making fairy tale teaching materials based on local wisdom. Theme 8, the area where I live, sub-theme 1, the environment where I live, knowing the quality, effectiveness of the product, student responses before using the product, after using the product. The research methodology uses (research and development/R&D) the ADDIE model (Analysis of the initial stages of product manufacturing planning, Design product planning, Develop product development, Implement use of products that have been validated, Evaluation assess the resulting product which has been tested to see whether the final result is more productive ). Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, validation, trials, questionnaires, documentation. The results of the research show that, teachers' assessment of local wisdom-based electronic teaching materials for 95% of students 91.25% of the criteria is very feasible. Based on student learning outcomes, an average score is obtained. 805 So electronic teaching materials based on local wisdom for classes. Abstract

In the competitive digital era, companies are required to build an image as an attractive workplace to capture the attention of young talent, especially generation Z who will enter the job market. This study aims to analyze the effect of employer branding on the interest in applying for jobs of final year students in North Kalimantan, and to examine the role of social media as a moderating variable in the relationship. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design through a survey method of 350 students from two universities, with data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) techniques. Employer branding was measured based on five dimensions of organizational attractiveness, while job application interest and social media exposure were measured using a Likert scale. The results showed that employer branding has a positive and significant effect on job application interest (β = 0.506; p = 0.002), and social media also has a significant direct effect on job application interest (β = 0.573; p = 0.000). However, the moderating effect of social media on the relationship between employer branding and interest in applying was not statistically significant (β = -0.088; p = 0.969). The findings conclude that while social media is effective as a direct communication channel, its success in strengthening employer brand image depends on the quality of content and consistency of the organization's narrative. The implication of this study suggests that local companies should strengthen their employer branding strategy and utilize social media more purposefully and contextually to attract young talent in frontier regions.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning methods are strategies used by teachers to effectively convey Islamic teachings so that they are easily understood, internalized, and practiced by students. The application of appropriate methods can create a more engaging, active, and meaningful learning process, enabling students not only to acquire knowledge but also to develop Islamic attitudes and personalities. In the context of modern education, PAI learning needs to integrate a variety of approaches, ranging from lectures, discussions, demonstrations, to hands-on, experiential learning. Furthermore, learning environments such as museums, mosques, monuments, and open spaces can be utilized as resources and supporting learning media, even if these places are not specifically designed for teaching and learning activities. Utilizing these environments provides real-life experiences that help students understand Islamic values ​​contextually. Thus, PAI learning methods play a crucial role in realizing a holistic, comprehensive educational process oriented toward the formation of Islamic character.

Abstract

Learning design is a fundamental component in the educational process, as it serves as a foundation for teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning activities systematically and purposefully. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), learning design has a broader role, not only focusing on the delivery of religious knowledge, but also encompassing the formation of character, morals, and strengthening Islamic values ​​in students. This paper discusses the general concept and function of learning design in PAI through theoretical studies from various literature and expert views. The results of the discussion indicate that PAI learning design must be prepared comprehensively by considering the components of objectives, materials, methods, media, and evaluation that are aligned with Islamic values. In addition, learning design serves as a practical guideline for teachers to create effective, efficient, innovative learning that is able to respond to the challenges of modern developments. Good learning design also contributes to increased learning motivation, optimal achievement of competencies, and the formation of students who are faithful, pious, and have good morals. Thus, understanding the concept and function of learning design is crucial for educators in their efforts to improve the quality of PAI learning as a whole.

Abstract

In the learning process, there are various important aspects that must be considered, especially by teachers as transmitters of knowledge. The success of learning depends heavily on the teacher's ability to manage the classroom to create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Therefore, teachers need to choose the right learning method so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively. One method that can be used is Outdoor Learning, which is learning outside the classroom that provides opportunities for students to develop talents and creativity more broadly through direct experience in the open air. Management of the learning environment is also a crucial factor in supporting learning success. Several things that need to be considered include understanding the nature and development of student intelligence, getting to know students individually, utilizing student behavior in organizing learning, and developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. In addition, teachers need to create an attractive classroom, utilize the environment as a learning resource, provide constructive feedback, and differentiate between students' physical and mental activities. The learning environment itself consists of indoor and outdoor environments. The indoor environment includes school facilities such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and auditoriums. Meanwhile, the outdoor environment includes places outside the school that can be used as learning resources, such as museums, mosques, monuments, and fields. Prospective teachers need to understand the importance of managing the learning environment and understand the various types and benefits of learning environments to support an effective learning process.
