Abstract

Semiotika sebagai salah satu metode analisis penelitian mengkaji tentang tanda, sangat menarik untuk di analisis pada sastra lisan berupa pantun. Penggunaan metode ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis teks semiotika pantun Minang pada masyarakat Minnagkabau Kota bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotik. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Minang yang menggunakan pantun Minang dengan data penelitian adalah teks pantun Minang berjumlah 32 Pantun yang diperoleh dari kegiatan formal dan nonformal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Tanda Ikon lebih sering digunakan pada diksi kata benda dengan penempatannya berada di baris pertama dan kedua pantun Minang. Sedangkan tanda indeks ditandai dengan semua aktifitas kehidupan yang mana pada pantun Minang seringkali muncul di baris kedua atau ketiga pantun Minang. Serta tanda simbol memiliki makna tersurat dan tersirat di dalam pantun yang letaknya sering kali berada di isi pantun, atau pada baris ketiga dan keempat pantun Minang. Dengan demikian, semiotika pada pantun Minang terdapat disetiap unsur permainan kata pada diksi pantun Minang Masyarakat Minangkabau Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Language wisdom is a language unit selection strategy that is used to become a filter in dealing with language communication in terms of pragmatics in the digital era 4.0. The strategy for selecting language units in this study is based on the classification of speech acts and the principles of politeness in language used in vocabulary in the book chapter “Time for Freedom to Learn” by Nino Indrianto et al. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques using library research techniques. Where the research data is in the form of sentences related to language wisdom with a pragmatic review of the book chapter "Time for Freedom to Learn" section of Language Learning and the source of data in this study is the book chapter "Time for Freedom to Learn" by Nino Indrianto et al. Published by Akademia Pustaka, Tulungagung in 2021, the first printing with a total of 238 pages. The results of this study indicate that there is a link between language wisdom in terms of pragmatics, where the strategy for selecting language units is seen from two aspects, namely the classification of speech acts and the principle of politeness. From the findings of the research, the percentage of speech act classification that is more dominant is derived from directives, with the highest percentage being 58.3% in the second text. Where the directive is a form of speech act that makes the speech partner do something on what is recommended by the speaker. Thus, the second text conveys more positive suggestions or recommendations in an effort to improve language learning. While in terms of politeness principles, it can be concluded that the maxim that often appears in the data text is the side of generosity, with a percentage of 34.69%. Where the reader shows more good nature, generosity, good character, and good character.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the text of rhetoric on: (1) structure of editorial text of Kompas newspaper of January 2017 edition (2) word choice (diction) in editorial in Kompas newspaper January 2017 edition and, (3) language style in editorial Kompas daily newspaper January 2017 edition. This research method is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The source of research data in the form of a newspaper compass edition januari 2017. While the data in the form of editorial text in Kompas daily newspaper edition of January 2017 amounted to 25 texts editorial. Data analysis uses text structure theory and word choice according to Bolivar and style of language according to Koesworo. The results show that (1) the editorial rhetoric text on the text structure of Kompas newspaper has five types of text structure variation. The five variations are SDR-SDR-SDR, SD-SDR-SDR, SDR-SDR-SD, SD-SDR-SD and SDR-SD-SD. This pattern variation is based on the location of the Triad position (S representative situation, D development representative, and R representative of the recommendations) contained in each editorial text. (2) Editor's choice of wording in Kompas newspaper, all 25 data use the word choice that has been grouped by Bolivar, ie the form of the word adverb, the word modality and the lexical word form. In general, the more widely used group of word choices is the lexical word in the noun. And (3) editorial style language in Kompas newspaper, all 25 data have suggestive language style, analytical logic and literary. In general, the more widely used language style is the analytical logical language style which is the style of the form of a form of thinking created by the author for the reader to consider the author's opinion on the issues discussed so that the reader will gain a logical reason from the reader's own mind.Keywords: Text, Rhetoric, and Editorial
