Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia masih sulit untuk mengakui adanya bias gender di lingkungannya. Pada masa kini prasangka gender ini lebih kuat dan nyata dibanding prasangka rasial. Wanita digambarkan sebagai seorang yang lemah, butuh dilindungi, tidak punya ambisi, harus bersikap feminin (Joko, 2008). Laki-laki digambarkan sebagai seorang yang kuat, bijaksana, harus memiliki kesuksesan diatas perempuan, dan bersikap maskulin. Penelitian ini membahas adanya perbedaan perilaku atau diskriminasi yang dilakukan mahasiswa terhadap transgender berdasarkan adanya konstruksi sosial mengenai bias gender yang berada di Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta. Analisis wacana kritis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Feminisme Postmodern yang menjelaskan pentingnya kesetaraan gender tanpa memandang jenis kelamin dan Konstruksi Sosial dari Peter L. Berger. bersama Thomas Luckman. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan strategi fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat diskriminasi terhadap transgender akibat adanya konstruksi sosial sehingga memunculkan prasangka, streotipe, dan kebencian dikarenakan dianggap sebagai penyimpangan nilai dan norma masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social economic changes of teenage prostitution. This research was conducted at the "Wanodyatama" Women's Social Services Institution Surakarta because most of the rehabilitated women were teenagers. The theory used is the theory of social practice according to Bourdieu. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study by the phenomenological method, where a type of research that seeks to describe the socio-economic changes of teenagers prostitution. Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documents. Sources of data obtained using purposive sampling technique. The validity data to use data triangulation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of research that contain facts about teenagers who become prostitute have several factors that habitus, capital and realm. Social changes that occur are changes in the person, social structure, structural functions, relations between different structures, and the emergence of new structures. In addition there are also four components of economic change attended by informants, namely education, social status, income, and income contribution. During the reform of the rehabilitation process at Institution with the approval of the entire set of processes and guidance provided, informants shifted the change in a positive direction because it showed the relationship of services and social improvements intended for prostitute was very useful and beneficial. Self-esteem, self-confidence, social responsibility in carrying out social tasks and most importantly can realize work that has been done is a community disease that must be overcome because work can damage the morale of nation.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) know the role of family in everyday life for children and Blind in the SLB/A YKAB Surakarta City. (2) Know the pattern of coaching conducted by SLB/A YKAB Surakarta City for children with the blind in the foundation. (3) Knowing the efforts made to foster social awareness and creativity for the blind child who is in SLB/A-YKAB Surakarta city. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data collection techniques used are observations not participating and in-depth interviews. This research used Role Theory by Robert Linton. Role Theory is a combination of theory, orientation, and scientific discipline other than psychology. Role theory begins and it is still used in sociology and anthropology (Sarwono, 2002). and then it is also used Social Capital Theory by Fukuyama. This theory consists some elements like trust, reciprocal, social network, social interaction, norm and responsibility. The informant used as a data source in this research is 1 from the party of SLB/A YKAB Foundation, 3 persons SLB/A YKAB, 4 children of blind students who are built in SLB/A YKAB, 1 person in the dorm, 2 parents, 1 people who are around SLB/A YKAB. The informant selection technique is done by purposive sampling technique. The date analysis techniques used consist of four phases: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal.The results of this research show that (1) SLB/A YKAB Surakarta City provides guidance for students with visual impairments using a trust factor, which is to be parents who give attention and affection like their biological parents. Then the responsibility factor being a teacher who provides knowledge and learning in accordance with their education level. (2) In addition to the social network factor, students are given additional material in the form of Mobility Orientation. (3) And in fostering social awareness in accordance with the factors of social interaction is by inviting students to interact with the surrounding community as in mobility orientation subject, students are invited to leave the school environment and interact with the general public outside the school environment and given additional extracurricular lessons such as music, massage and sports such as tennis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the formation of Nur Hidayah LKSA in fostering religious tolerance in children in the community. The theory used in this study is the social practice of Pierre Bourdieu, the formula of social parktik theory is (habitus + capital) x realm. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are (1) non-participatory observation techniques, namely data collection through nonverbal observations (2) unstructured interview techniques, asking questions jumping from time to time or from one topic to another topic (Slamet, 2006), (3) documentation study, which documented the results of interviews and then made an interview transcript of the recordings and personal notes during the study. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sample. Data validity uses source triangulation to compare data. Data analysis techniques consist of three activities that occur simultaneously, namely: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.This study shows that (1) the concept of habitus can be seen through LKSA Nur Hidayah provides the formation of religious tolerance in children given through studies twice a week besides LKSA Nur Hidayah teaches about religious and social life, (2) social capital undertaken LKSA Nur Hidayah can give birth to an open attitude and accept differences, peace and tolerate the inconveniences of life. That is because between the community and LKSA Nur Hidayah trust each other, running the norms that apply in the community. LKSA Nur Hidayah frees her foster children to make friends with anyone, but still maintains her own faith and is not influenced by others, (3) cultural capital that is realized is the community invites orphanage children to mutual cooperation and children join mutual cooperation with the community, ( 4) Symbolic capital is a palebelan or assessment of others, a pretty good citizen education and has a modern mindset so that tolerance can be created between Nur Hidayah LKSA and the community, (5) economic capital is closely related to finance, the obligation of Nur Hidayah LKSA is to finance foster children's schooling and paying caregivers and holding social services.

Abstract

This service aims to increase understanding of consumer service ethics for online food drivers to increase their income and social resilience in the Covid 19 Era. We brought together the dimensions of education and sociology, as well as an analysis of the theories of Emile Durkheim, Bloom, Paulo Freire, and Karl Marx. The subjects were online food drivers, who were determined by purposive sampling based on variations in the type of food and the distance of delivery. To increase the understanding of service ethics, the method of lectures, making videos, and playing it in the community. Process awareness and cooperation are applied to enact agreed ethics for the sake of simultaneously, moral education avoiding fraudulent behavior, establishing social harmony, obeys consumer laws and partnerships. The location is chosen in the area of the delivery range a maximum of 5-kilo meters from the basecamp. After being given an ethical understanding in service to consumers, drivers are proven to always pay attention to buyer records to them and online stalls. Consequently, they always get a high rating, still, get incentives, and increase their income, to avoid termination of partners. Mentoring has resulted in regulatory agreements to avoid fraudulent behavior that has the potential to give rise to disintegration, and the establishment of social harmony, as well as further strengthening its social resilience in the Covid 19 Era.
