Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh amelioran lokal dan biofertilizer terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil koro pedang di tanah grumusol. Dilakukan dengan faktorial 2 x 3, RAKL, tiga kali ulangan. Faktor pertama: macam amelioran lokal terdiri atas pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk hijau gliricidae. Faktor kedua: macam biofertilizer: kontrol (tanpa biofertilizer), Mikoriza, dan Rhizobium. Variabel pengamatan: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang produksi, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, persentase bintil akar aktif, jumlah polong per tanaman, panjang polong per tanaman, bobot 100 biji, bobot polong kering per tanaman, dan hasil biji per hektar. Analisis hasil menggunakan sidik ragam taraf signifikan lima persen, dilanjutkan uji DMRT taraf lima persen. Hasil: tidak terjadi interaksi antara macam amelioran lokal dan macam biofertilizer terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil. Ada beda nyata perlakuan macam amelioran lokal terhadap tiga variabel pengamatan: jumlah polong, bobot kering polong, dan hasil biji per hektar. Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam mampu meningkatkan hasil biji lebih baik dibanding pupuk gliricidae. Pemberian rhizobium memberikan hasil lebih baik dibanding mikoriza dan kontrol pada hasil biji per hektar.

Abstract

This study aims are to know the influence of organic fertilizers and the depth of soil tillage on growth and yield of jack bean cultivated in grumusol soil as marginal land. The research was conducted in Playen Village, Yogyakarta Indonesia having latitude 250 m above sea level. The research used 4 x 3 factorial experiment arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with 3 replications. The first factor is the kinds of organic fertilizers consisting of 4 levels: green manure, cow manure, goat manure, and chicken manure. The second factor is the depth of soil tillage: 15 cm, 30cm, and zero tillage as control. Results of the experiment indicate that the application of glirisidea green manure on the 30 cm depth of soil tillage could result the longest pod length and highest quantity number of leaves. The application of glirisidea green manure could result higher seed yield per ha-1 than that of chicken manure, cow manure as well goat manure. The 15 cm as well as 30 cm depth of soil tillage could result pod number, pod weight and 100 seed weight higher than that of without soil tillage.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah efek dari penggunaan amelioran lokal dikombinasikan dengan interval penyiraman terhadap pertumbuhan dan kualitas kacang pedang (Canavalia ensiformis.L) di daerah pasir pantai dilakukan dari bulan Mei sampai September 2014 di Depok Pantai Parangtritis, Bantul Yogyakarta . Penelitian disusun dalam Rancangan Petak Terbagi dengan tiga ulangan. Plot utama penyiraman selang yang terdiri dari dua tingkat: penyiraman setiap hari dan penyiraman setiap dua hari. Anak petak adalah kombinasi antara jenis bahan organik dan aplikasi dosis tanah liat. Jenis bahan organik yang terdiri empat tingkatan: kotoran ayam, kotoran kambing, kotoran sapi, dan daun hijau gliricidae. Dosis tanah liat terdiri dari dua tingkat: tanah liat dosis 10 ton ha -1 dan tanah liat dosis 20 ton ha-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyiraman setiap hari dalam kombinasi dengan penerapan daun hijau glirizidae menghasilkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, akar nodul lebih baik dari aplikasi lain. Penerapan daun hijau glirizidae dalam kombinasi dengan aplikasi dosis tanah liat 20 ton ha-1 menghasilkan jumlah polong dan bobot 100 biji lebih tinggi dari aplikasi lainnya. Aplikasi pupuk dapat membuat struktur tanah yang lebih baik dari tanah pantai berpasir.Study dealing with the use of local ameliorant in combination with the interval of watering on the growth and quality of sword bean (Canavalia ensiformis.L) in sand beach area was conducted from May until September 2014 in Depok Beach Parangtritis, Bantul Yogyakarta. The experiment was arranged in Split Plot Design with three replications. The main plot was watering interval consisting of two levels: watering every day and watering every two days. The sub plot was the combination between the kind of organic matter and the clay dosage application. The kind of organic matter consisting of four levels: chicken manure, goat manure, cow manure, and green leaves of gliriside. The clay dosage consisting of two levels: clay dosage 10 ton ha -1 and clay dosage 20 ton ha-1. Results of the experiment indicated that the watering every day in combination with the application of green leaves of gliriside resulted plant height, leaves number, root nodules better than the other applications. The application of green leaves of gliriside in combination with the clay dosage application 20 ton ha-1resulted pod number and the weight of 100 seeds higher than the other application. The application of manure can create better soil structure of sandy beach land.

Abstract

Research conducted in experimental field of Agricultural Faculty of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University from October until November, 2010. Experiment used factorial 2x4 arranged in Split-Plot Design. Main-plot was environmental planting condition: open field and plastic tunnel. Sub-plot was fertilizer: urea, NPK, chicken manure, Bokashi. Treatments replicated in three replications. Observations: fresh weight, dry weight, N total, and Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Result: no interactions between environmental planting conditions and fertilizer various on fresh weight, dry weight, and CEC. There was interaction between environmental planting conditions and fertilizer various on N total content. Plastic tunnel resulted higher both on fresh weight and dry weight than that of open field. Compare to open field, there was no significantly different effect of plastic tunnel on CEC. Application of Bokashi could produce fresh weight as well as dry weight higher than that of application of chicken manure, NPK as well as urea. Under open field condition, there were no significantly different on N total content of the plants treated by urea, NPK, chicken manure as well as bokashi. Whereas under plastic tunnel condition, both application of bokashi and NPK resulted in higher N total content than application of chicken manure as well as urea. This research was carried out in UPTD field of Food andDevelopment Center,  Jl. Yogyakarta-wonosari km 33, playen, gading, Gunungkidul district, special province of Yogyakarta. The area is located at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level with daily  temperature between 23-32 0C. The research was conducted from February - July 2017. This research was conducted by using 3 x 3 factorial experiment which was arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL). The treatment consists of 2 factors, the first factor was the soil tilage depth  consisted of 3 levels namely the depth of 0.15, and 30 cm. The second factor plana the application of green manure of gamal consisting of three levels, namely 10,15, and 20 ton ha-1. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations included plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers, dry weight of plants, number of pods per plant, one hundred seeds weight, dry pods per plant, pod length per plant, seed yield per  plot, and seed yield  Ha-1. Results indicated thanthere was an interaction between the dosage of green manure and thesoil tilage depth on the yield of jack bean Ha-1. The best result was in the treatment combination of green gamal fertilizer with a dose of 30 tons Ha-1 with soil tilage depth of 20 cm. Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence combination of AB Mix and Organic Liquid Fertilizer (POC) made from goat manure on the growth and yield of the mustard by hydroponic. This reseach conducted by single factor experiment which arranged by Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) which consisted of 4 treatment levels. The first treatment was AB Mix without POC as control, the second treatment was AB Mix + POC (v/v = 3:1), the third treatment was AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:1), the fourth treatment was AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:3). The data analysis used analysis of variance (variance analysis) which continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) of 5% significance.  The research results showed that there was significant by difference result of the plant height, the number of leaves, the width of leaf, the fresh weight, the dry weight, and chlorophyll content. The results indicated that the treatment of AB Mix without POC as control and the treatment combination  of AB Mix + POC (v/v = 3:1) gave same results but both of the treatments gave better result that of the treatment combination of AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:1) and the treatment combination of AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:3). The treatment of AB Mix without POC or control showed the lower result of chlorophyll content than the combination of AB Mix + POC

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of shading and light intensity on several types of mustard plants. This research was conducted from April to May 2017 in Sumberejo Village, Semin Subdistrict, Gunungkidul Regency. This study was carried out by experimental factorial 3x3 aranged by split plot design wuth three replications , the first factor was the shading intensity: without shading, 50% shading, 75% shading and the second factor was the various of mustard plant that was consisted of green mustard, collard, and mustard spoon. The results of this study showed that there was interaction betwen shading and varians type of mustard plant on  fresh weight of plants, dry weight of the roots, and fresh weight of the plants of hectare. There was no interaction at plants height, leaf number, board leaf, fresh root weight, root dry weight, but shading with different intensity significantly affected the amount of chlorophyll, fresh weight of plant, root dry weight and weight of hectare. The 50% shading showed the best growth and result compared with 75% shading and without shading

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of types of planting media and kinds of fertigations on the results of cayenne pepper cultivated in semi-hydroponics. This research was carried out in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa.  It has altitude of 112 m above sea level and temperature between 260 – 280C. This research method was arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design in Split Splot consisting of two treatment factors. The fisrt factor was the fertigation method as main factor consisted of 2 levels: spraying watering system and fertigation of the drip irrigation system. The second factor was the planting media as sub factor consisted 3 levels: rice husk charcoal + regosol soil (v/v= 1:1) ,rice husk charcoal + zeolite (v/v= 1:1), and rice husk charcoal.+ regosol + zeolite (v/v= 1:1:1). Each treatment unit used 3 sample plant. The results of the observations were analyzed using variance, followed by Duncan 's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of a = 5%. AThe results of the experiment indicated that there was an interaction beetwen planting media and kinds of fertigations for the variables observed in the number of flowers and fresh weight per plant. Where are, the treatment of planting media and the fertigation system had an effect on the yield of cayenne pepper, namely the fresh weight of fruit per plant. However, no interaction occurred beetwen planting media and kinds of fertigations of the variable observed in the plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, fresh weight of the plants, dry weight of plants and fruit diameter. The best results of combination’s treatment rice husk charcoal+ regosol soil + zeolite(v/v= 1:1:1) with fertigation of the drip irrigation system indicated on fresh weight per plant

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the optimal of concentration and application interval of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) in the growth and yield of red beans (phaseolus vulgaris L). The research was carried out in Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) “Lestari Makmur” Located In Wates Street Km 12 Polaman, Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Special Region Of Yogyakarta.  The research was conducted by 3 x 2 + 1 factorial experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was the concentration Of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) consists of 3 levels namely: 1%, 2%, and 3%. The second factor was interval of Liquid Organic Fertilizer application consists of 2 levels: once week watering and watering every 2 weeks.  The result of this experiment indicated that there was no interaction between concentration and interval application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) on plant height, plant dry weight, flowers number, pods number, pod dry weight and pod length. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the dosage of bokasi fertilizer and the type of bokasi fertilizer that appropriate to increase the yield of tomato plants. The experiment was carried out at Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian Dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Lestari Makmur, Jl. Wates Km.12 Pollaman of Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. The research location has altitude of 149 meters above sea level, temperature 24.5 - 32.5 ℃, the rainfall 1500 - 2000 mm per year and air humidity 65 -95%. The study was conducted in June - October 2018. The study was conducted by 3 × 2 factorial experiment arranged in a completely randomized design with four replications. The first factor was the dosage of the bokasi fertilizer, which was 3, 6 and 9 ton.ha-1. The second factor is the type of bokasi fertilizer namely goat manure and cow dung. Observation variables included plant height, leaf number, flowering age, fruiting age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of plants. Analysis of the date using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a significant level of 5%. The results of the experiment indicated analysis showed no interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fetilizer to plant height, flowering age, fruiting age, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight and number of leaves. While there is an interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fertilizer on the number of fruits, fruit weight and diameter of the fruit. The highest yield was obtained on the type of goat manure bokasi with a dose of 9 tons. ha-1
