Abstract

Tinggi rendahnya status reproduksi sekelompok ternak, dipengaruhi oleh lima hal sebagai berikut: angka Kebuntingan (Conception Rate), jarak antara kelahiran (Calving Interval), angka Perkawinan per kebuntingan (Service per Conception), umur pertama kali kawin, Estrus post partus (bulan).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performa reproduksi sapi Peranakan Limosin dari program Inseminasi Buatan di Kecamatan Kertosono Kabupaten Nganjuk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Kertosono, Kabupaten Nganjuk, dengan jumlah sapi betina yang diamati 109 ekor dan umur rata-rata antar 2 – 5 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara langsung dengan peternak, catatan yang ada pada peternak dan inseminator, pengamatan langsung di lapangan. Pakan yang diberikan jerami, hijauan (rumput gajah), dan dedak Padi. Data diperoleh dari data sekunder yang berasal dari wawancara langsung dengan peternak, catatan yang ada pada peternak dan insemiantor, serta pengamatan di lapangan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif untuk melihat rata – rata dan standar deviasinya. Data yang diambil meliputi : umur pertama kali kawin, angka konsepsi (Conception Rate), angka perkawinan per kebuntingan (Service per Conception), calving Interval (bulan), estrus post partus (bulan), Nilai dari hasil survei terhadap sapi limosin sejumlah 109 ekor sapi limosin betina sehat dan sudah dua kali atau lebih beranak diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : umur pertama Kawin 18,00 + 0,39 bulan, conception rate 63,24 + 1,01 %, estrus post partus 1,90 + 0,83 bulan, Service per Conception 1,78 + 0,05, Calving Interval 13,00 + 0,77 bulan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the addition of flour mengkudu in performans on feed on blood profile male broiler. This study using 24 male broiler reared from doc until 2 weeks old , after 2 weeks old the chicken divided randomly in 4 of the treatment as follows. ( po ) groups of chickens without treatment , done four times test . ( p1 ) groups of chickens by the addition of flour mengkudu into feed as many as 5 % ( p2 ) groups of chickens by the addition of flour mengkudu in feed to ten percent . ( p3 ) groups of chickens by the addition of flour mengkudu to in feed fifteen percent. The provision of feed has been given additional flour mengkudu done three times in one day , in the morning , afternoon , and night . After 42 days chicken harvested and weighed the increase of weight , consumption of feed and taken blood samples for laboratory. Data from the results of research on a male broiler given additional flour mengkudu in feed to a draft design experiment completely random and data analyzed by the method of analysis of variant ( ANOVA ).The results of research , it can be concluded that the addition of flour fruit mengkudu in feed male broiler cattle by 5 percent : 10 percent and 15 percent , do not affect the consumption of feed , body weight , the conversion of fodder and the number of the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes

Abstract

This study aims to compare the quality of Friesian Holstein (FH) dairy cows in Bendul Merisi, Surabaya (Lowlands) and Nongkojajar, Pasuruan (Highlands), with the physical quality standard of fresh milk which is the national reference or SNI. This study used 60 samples of cow's milk, 30 samples from Bendul Merisi, and 30 samples from Nongkojajar. The sample was tested in the laboratory using the fat content and specific gravity test, the data obtained were calculated using the T-test formula. The data obtained from the average fat content test in Nongkojajar was 3.3685%, and the average fat content in Bendul Meisi was 4.8003%. The average density at Nongkojajar is 1.024767 mg / dl, the average density at Bendul Merisi is 1.28067 mg / dl. Based on the results of statistical calculations resulted in a significant difference (P <0.01) in the fat content test, statistical calculations resulted in a significant difference (P <0.01) in the specific gravity test.
