Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan lapangan karena beberapa laboratorium rumah sakit dan klinik swasta mendirikan pereaksi kerja untuk penentuan urea dalam pemeriksaan. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji stabilitas reagen kerja untuk hasil urea darah terbaik setelah beberapa waktu penyimpanan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental semu dimana sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 serum. Dari hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis uji varians (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa t (2,776)> t tabel (2,131) pada * a 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa urea reagen kerja yang telah disimpan / ditangguhkan selama 3x24 jam berpengaruh terhadap hasil uji urea.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the presence or absence of waxes found in apples sold in Pabaeng-baeng market, Makassar City. Wax substances are additional ingredients that are used to coat the fruit so as not to quickly experience decay or damage. The type of this research is descriptive laboratory observations, namely to identify waxes in apples. This research was conducted on the 3rd of August 2018 at the DIII Laboratory of Health Analyst at the University of East Indonesia, Makassar City. The population in this study were all types of apples sold in the Pabaeng-baeng market in Makassar City with samples of 3 types of apples, each of which were green, red and reddish yellow. The variables in this study are apples and waxes. From the results of this study, it is known that there are waxes in 3 types of apples that are traded in the Pabaeng-baeng market in Makassar City

Abstract

Typoid fever is a systemic disease that has the characteristics of fever and abdominal pain caused by the dissemination of S. typhi or S. paratyphi.The purpose of this study was to determi ne the number of types of leukocytes in patients with 1-3 days typoid fever in UIT Makassar General Hospital in Makassar City 2019. The benefit of this research is that it can be used as input material, literature material for the community and especially for researchers. This study uses a random sampling method and is presented in the form of descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study showed the results of the description of leukocyte counts in patients with typoid fever. The conclusion of this study was that there were 2 samples of normal leukocytes, 1 sample for leukocytes and 7 samples for decreasing numbers of leukocytes. The conclusion was that the number of leukocytes in patients with typoid fever varied in number

Abstract

Indonesia is geographically located within the assemblage of three plates, namely Indo-Australia Plate, Eurasia Plate, and Pacific Plate. This plates assemblage causes Indonesia to be apotential place for natural disaster. An arthquake that recently took place in West Sulawesi haveresulted landslide and forced some districts to be isolated. In an attempt to establish a DisasterEmergency Response (DER) plan in West Sulawesi, the vital role of volunteer (e.g. TheIndonesian Red Cross) is extremely needed. However, the emergence of an earthquake duringthe pandemic have put the crisis mitigation in more complicated stance as both, society and thevolunteer, have to implement control measures in order to prevent the virus to spread morewidely. This study aims to provide an overview of COVID-19 health protocol implementation byThe Indonesian Red Cross (IRC) volunteer during disaster emergency response period in SouthSulawesi. Field observation with descriptive approach was applied as the main method. Thepopulation of this study was subjected to all Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer whose in chargeduring disaster emergency response period in South Sulawesi, and purposive sampling techniquewith some specific criteria such as; registered as Indonesian Red Cross volunteer proven bymembership card, have been serving for at least a week in DER location, and were in disasterlocation when the questionnaire were distributed, was chosen as our sampling method. Thefindings revealed that (1) 89% of the volunteers have clearly understood the risk of COVID-19, (2)58% of them have used the face mask correctly, (3) 73% of them have performed handwashingwith soap and water regularly, (4) 38% of them have implemented physical distancing in disasterlocation, while the rest 62% volunteers were reported otherwise.
