X Indonesia is currently undergoing a digital transformation to achieve its goal of "becoming a leader in the digital region". However, this transition has accompanied with a large number of employees retiring between 2020 and 2021. This has resulted in increased workloads and a lack of competency. Therefore, PT X Indonesia will analyze its current capabilities, future capabilities, and existing gaps to meet future demand. This analysis uses a mixed method research model, where the current capabilities of PT X Indonesia are analyzed using a survey method. In addition, the researcher interviewed key informants at PT X Indonesia to find out the capabilities needed in the future. The 7s McKinsey's framework (1980) was used to analyze this research. This framework identifies seven dimensions that a company must possess to maintain its success. This 7s dimension consists of Strategy, System, Structure, Style, Skill, Staff, and Superordinate Goals. According to a survey conducted to assess the current capabilities of PT X Indonesia, there are three dimensions that are in the bottom three. Thus, to bridge the gap, there are several recommendations that must be immediately carried out by PT X Indonesia, namely strengthening the team work, recruiting new employees to fill vacancies, socializing the talent acquisition system, conducting coaching sessions from seniors, and conducting knowledge sharing.

Abstract

This study investigated the real-world impact of green university initiatives (GUIs) on students' Pro-Environmental Behaviour (PEB) at SBM ITB, while also examining environmental attitude (EA) and knowledge (EK) as possible mediating variables. A quantitative survey of 144 students, analysed using PLS-SEM, showed that GUIs had a significant effect on EA, which then positively predicted PEB. EA has also been found to significantly mediate the relationship between GUI and PEB. However, GUIs did not significantly affect EK, and the EK influence on PEB was insignificant from the analysis. Findings from this research suggest that GUIs primarily drive sustainable behaviour by supporting positive environmental attitudes rather than increasing knowledge. These findings urge higher education institution to prioritise attitudinal development in green campus programmes.

Abstract

Policy agility is critical for infrastructure financing institutions like PT SMI, which faces delays in policy development due to centralized decision-making, poor communication, and inadequate knowledge transfer, hindering alignment with product timelines and RJPP 2024–2028 goals. This study investigates how integrating Agile and KM frameworks (SECI model, APO KM Framework) can mitigate these delays. Using mixed methods—qualitative interviews and quantitative APO KM Maturity assessments—the research identifies key gaps in PT SMI’s processes and proposes a combined Agile-KM approach. Findings reveal that Agile’s iterative cycles and KM’s knowledge-sharing mechanisms enhance policy-product alignment, with pilot projects demonstrating reduced bottlenecks. The study provides a scalable implementation plan, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration and centralized knowledge repositories. Implications suggest this framework improves PT SMI’s operational efficiency and offers a replicable model for similar institutions, bridging a gap in the literature on Agile-KM synergy in financial policy development.

Abstract

High employee turnover rates represent a critical challenge in human resource management, particularly in joint venture companies operating in the power generation sector, where maintaining workforce stability is essential for operational excellence and technology transfer. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of these two variables on turnover intention by considering important dimensions such as conditions for engagement, opinion engagement, engagement behavior, career development, work environment, employee relationships with management, and compensation and benefits. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for quantitative analysis with in-depth qualitative interviews to provide comprehensive insights. The quantitative findings reveal that job satisfaction (β = -0.578, p < 0.001) exerts a stronger negative influence on turnover intention compared to employee engagement (β = -0.382, p < 0.001), collectively explaining 70.2% of the variance in turnover intention (R² = 0.702). Specifically, career development, work environment, and employee relationships with management emerged as significant predictors of turnover intention, while opinion engagement showed no significant direct effect. Qualitative insights revealed underlying issues, including unclear certification pathways, cultural and communication barriers between local and expatriate staff, insufficient management support during high-pressure situations, and perceived inequities in compensation structures. This research provides theoretical contributions by extending the understanding of job satisfaction and engagement dimensions in cross-cultural joint venture contexts, while offering practical implications through targeted business solutions, including transparent career path development, compensation benchmarking, enhanced management communication strategies, and systematic training programs.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has driven state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia to adopt transformasi digital strategies. PT Hutama Karya (Persero), despite investing billions of Rupiah annually in digital initiatives, continues to face delays and underutilization of tools such as BIM, PMIS, and CDE. This study investigates the root causes of these inefficiencies, arguing that misalignment between strategi digital and behavioral adoption at the project level is the core issue. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from internal documents, interviews, questionnaires, and group discussions. Analysis revealed that resistance to change, lack of practical training, and weak cultural reinforcement are key inhibitors. The study integrates Kotter’s 8-Step Model, ADKAR, and the Theory of Planned Behavior to develop a behavioral-driven transformation framework. Findings highlight high employee motivation but moderate support in process and technology readiness. Business solutions include digital champions, targeted training, broader tool access, and performance-based reinforcement. A phased roadmap (Transform–Sustain–Strive) aligned with RJPP 2025–2029 was proposed, along with a risk mitigation plan. This research contributes to transformasi digital literature by emphasizing behavioral change and offering a replicable framework for SOEs in construction and infrastructure sectors.

Abstract

This study assesses the readiness and maturity level of PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI), a state-owned development finance institution in Indonesia, for ethical and responsible artificial intelligence (AI) adoption. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, Technology Readiness Index (TRI), and IBM AI Adoption Maturity Model to evaluate AI readiness across multiple dimensions. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 84 employees with minimum five years of tenure and semi-structured interviews with five key stakeholders representing IT, Risk Management, Human Capital, Compliance & Legal divisions, and executive management. Results reveal high individual psychological readiness (TRI score: 3.61, Explorers classification) with strong optimism and innovativeness, yet critical institutional gaps in governance frameworks, data infrastructure, security protocols, and regulatory compliance mechanisms. PT SMI is classified at Phase 1, Initial Experiments of the IBM maturity model. Strategic recommendations include establishing comprehensive AI governance frameworks aligned with Indonesian regulations (PDP Law, SE Kominfo No. 9/2023, OJK AI Ethics), strengthening data and security foundations, and building employee risk awareness. This research provides actionable roadmap for responsible AI adoption in public sector financial institutions navigating digital transformation amid regulatory constraints.

Abstract

The fact that more than half of the new Community Officers at Bank Syariah Nasional leave the company within their first three months is a big problem. A lot of these early resignations can be traced back to the fact that rookie officers had a hard time meeting performance goals during this time. To meet this challenge, BSN has put in place a twenty-one-day onboarding program that includes microlearning using the Learning SHARIA mobile app. This strategy can be used with employees who are located in different parts of the world, and it is scalable. However, its speediness in accelerating the acquisition of early skills has not been well-tested yet. This paper examines how microlearning can be used to promote the perception of competence in the context of the onboarding process as well as the mediating role of motivation and supervisory support in this specific interaction. The information collected on 392 participants was analyzed using a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling approach. The findings indicate that exposure to microlearning in itself does not play a significant role in improving the level of competence. The effect of the use of smart devices can be observed when learning activities are effectively used to influence the motivation of learners, which in turn results in a significant direct positive impact on perceived competence. Supervisor support is also ranked as a key determinant, as it has a direct impact on the motivation of learners, and the top management approval is essential to the successful use of microlearning programs. Remarkably, the completion of modules, learning days on the platform, and quiz grades are considered insufficient measures of real learning results in this specific situation. The research finds that microlearning is effective, but it requires support from supervisors who can inspire and direct new employee. Practical recommendations include refining onboarding indicators in line with the Kirkpatrick evaluation model, applying the Pareto principle to identify and prioritize the most influential learning modules, and enhancing coaching practices among supervisors.
