Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh mahasiswa Semester II T.A 2018/2019 Semester Ganjil. Sampel penelitian eksperimen Grup C. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah post test kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mahasiswa dengan bentuk essay dan lembar observasi terhadap kegiatan mahasiswa dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Perhitungan persamaan regresi . Dari uji kelinearan regresi kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh Fhitung = - 0,717 dengan nilai Ftabel= 2,42 sehingga Fhitung< Ftabel atau -0,717 < 2,42 maka H0 diterima. Untuk uji keberartian regresi kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh Fhitung= 34,207 dengan nilai Ftabel= 4,16 sehingga Fhitung > Ftabel atau 34,207 > 4,16, maka H0 diterima. Untuk uji koefisien korelasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh dan keberartian koefisien korelasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh thitung= 5,863 dan ttabel= 2,04 sehingga thitung > ttabel atau 5,863 > 2,04 maka H0 diterima. Untuk uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh . Berdasarkan uji hipotesis penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mahasiswa. Sehingga diharapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' creative thinking on the Social Arithmetic Material at SMP Yapim Medan. This type of research is classroom action research with 26 research subjects. The instruments used were tests and observations. The average value of teacher observation in cycle I was 75% and increased in cycle II to 84.38% in the good category, while the average value of student activity observation in the first cycle was 62.25% in the good category, where as in cycle II it was 68.63% in the good category. The average of creative thinking of students in the initial test obtained 44.32% increased to 69.92% in the first cycle and 78.04% in the second cycle. Because the activities of students increased, teacher observation increased and the ability of creative thinking of students also increased from cycle I to cycle II, it can be concluded that the students' creative thinking ability with humanistic contextual learningincreases.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of self-efficacy using the jigsaw cooperative model, including (1) student self-efficacy after jigsaw cooperative learning and (2) the level of active student activity during the learning process. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this study were 34 students of X-IPA2 N 1 PAGARAN and the object of this research was the students' self-efficacy abilities and active student activities. The instrument used consisted of a self-efficacy questionnaire, student activity observation sheets, and interview guidelines. Data analysis used the Mile and Huberman model. The results showed that the self-efficacy of 34 students obtained high self-efficacy of 26.47%, moderate self-efficacy of 61.76% and low self-efficacy of 11.76%. Overall self-efficacy of students is 73.31 in the medium category. Conclusions, based on the data obtained, students' thinking processes on abilities; 1) The self-efficacy of SMA N 1 PAGARAN students after jigsaw type cooperative learning is good; 2) The overall percentage of active student activities used during teaching and learning activities is within the specified ideal time tolerance interval. Abstract

“Teachers are the main key to success in producing a quality and quality Indonesian gold generation in 2045. Therefore, teachers must have the ability to design learning to be meaningful and useful” (Pujiasih, 2020). As a Mathematics Teacher, you must always guide students regarding how to really learn (learning how to learn) and how to solve every problem in front of them (learning how to solve problems) that will be utilized and used in the future. Independent learning curriculum is a new step that makes some changes in terms of learning. During the COVID-19 pandemic, which has so far returned with the Omicron variant, all teachers/educators are required to turn their brains around to provide optimal online/virtual learning, as well as students who have to adapt to online/virtual learning and have to be extra in understanding the material. . The success of teachers and students in optimally practicing online learning in an independent learning curriculum will also have an impact on the development of students' thinking power. In online learning practices, with an independent learning curriculum, Mathematics educators/teachers have an important role, namely not only providing material but character education is also very important and useful for student behavior, by means of teachers not only providing material for free but can provide examples to students, so that students are able to be dedicated and innovate in the independent learning curriculum.
